UPDATE JUNE 15TH 2021 This video was created in 2014 as a personal project. I didn't mean for it to get big. I have two issues that everyone needs to be informed about: 1) To anyone saying I made this video for clickbait and that it isn't every stunt, I challenge you to make one better than this. Also, this was made in 2014, so any movies after was impossible to add to the compilation. Also, Jackie doesn't do any stunts anymore due to his old age (DUH!) 2) The RU-vid police are starting to attack me left, right and centre. I may end up blurring parts of the video, or adding custom audio tracks...or I may just delete the video. I didn't know that just by reviewing the video, I could have avoided copyright claims. It sucks because I could monetise this video and I had lined up more JC related videos. But the YT police are putting me off. A personal thank you to all who gave me the 3.4 million hits!
Just as a answer to your description: Its a good video i like it, but... this is clearly not every stunt Jacky have done, even when we talk about only movies upto 2014, but this are the most of it,... If you had choosen a titel, like greatest Stunts all will be fine, but you choosen "every", its normal you have to deal now with comments like "thats not all stunts" etc.
Reasons why he is the greatest human being alive: -He has made billions of people laugh for more than half a decade (that is quite a human achievement) , been in more movies than any living actor. -He dances, sings, kicks ass, knows pretty much all styles of kung fu and crazy at the same time. -Obama, Putin, Michael Jackson..along with all the top directors in Hollywood admires him. Half a billion songs downloaded when he sings. -He has built dozens of schools all over the world with his own cash and vow to have no money left in his bank when he dies. -Video games would have less moves without him, some comic books, cartoons wouldn't be there if there wasn't Jackie. -He continues to spread peaceful message through his cheesy movies although we all know he has been offered in high budget movies in which he refused due to "too much violence". He has received more "Lifetime achievement award" than any other living actor. Did more real stunts than any other actor. He is known from the north pole to the south pole to small African tribal villages and Eskimo lands..and I think the Grim Reaper wouldn't even want to take him. He has proven he has more lives than a cat and climbs higher and faster than one. He is not perfect...like all superheroes...their fate is they can't take care of their families. Just as Superman, Batman. However, he is not fiction. He is real. Just like his name means in Chinese "Becoming a Dragon". I think he became one! A true living legend who has inspired billions. 60 years old and still rockin'. Connecting the east and west through peaceful kung fu comedy. Tell me one person that surpass him?
I would argue that any scientist who made a breakthrough is better than him by default. I wouldn't write it to you if it wasn't for technologies. He contributes big time to art and our moral side but we would be in caves if it wasn't for the smartest men to ever live. Still I don't think it is possible to define the best man on Earth. Each century has its own heroes and these heroes fall into different categories and can't really be compared to be honest
@@AbdulRasyidPangrango-qr9dt He has 2 Guinness world records 1 for performing the greatest stunts than any known actor and the 2nd for being in the most standalone movies.
Prime Jackie Chan nothing was ever better then that for me, in the 80's/early 90's nothing could touch him. I still think the last 20 minutes of Police Story are just out of this world. What made it epic was the fact, he wasn't all superhero out you felt for his character, he was outnumbered but was trying everything to save the day . He was using everything to battle the odds. If it was a Bruce Lee film for example Lee wouldn't have allowed himself to look like that, he would have slaughtered everyone with one blow. Also Brigitte Lin deserves praise she really got stuck in as well (some of stuff she did like going through tables and glass looked pretty dangerous) as Jackie's stunt team too were awesome. I also love the double take on stunts, just loved that.
He was still doing crazy stunts in the 2000s era I think his last big stunts were in Chinese Zodiac (2012) n little soldier (2010). He stunts are not as grand scale as when he was in his prime but he still keeps his stunts entertaining. Hopefully we see Jackie praise the role as uncle Iroh in the live action Avatar the last Airbender. He claimed now in his older yrs he wants to play in more dramatic roles Uncle Iroh is the perfect role for him.
So true. I'll never forget hiring out the VHS version of Police Story and being so blown away by the finale I must've rewound it and replayed that 20 minutes about 50 time before taking it back to the video store!
Indeed, there is quite a dozen of stunts that could have killed him instantly. Not to mention how many times he was wounded, and actually close to death from injury he actually had.
"Jackie.... Jackie. I'm glad you're awake." "What happened?" "You shattered your left femur as well as your right tibia and fractured your jaw. You ok?" "How was the shot?" "Well... Part of it got blocked by a bird during your stunt." "Then I'm not ok! Let's go try again!"
Yet there are people out there who actually claim that Tom Cruise's stunts are more dangerous. Newsflash, there's a difference between danger and expense.
@@l.m.6160 Definitely not expense since Jackie is all about doing things the most affordable way. They still used cardboard boxes instead of airbags, for example.
It now literally makes me bloody cry to see this kind of video. We have been SUPER lucky to have experienced his amazing skills as a martial artist alone... but his *STUNTS* are also mind-boggling. BUT THERE'S MORE. Jackie is one of the *best* film editors (for action) the world has ever known. Any young 'fight scene' youth out there should pay heed to his methods (look it up!). I named the main character in my own stories ('Diamond Dragons') after him.
Jackie Chan has a very special place in my heart! He is the most talented, the bravest of all actors and a very fine human being. Go on Jackie, you are way too good for Hollywood and they will keep holding you back...but you don't need them. You are a master, a genius, someone who's legacy will live forever!
I have such a special place in my heart for 90s Jackie Chan movies... I think I rented First Strike, Rumble In The Bronx, Mr. Nice Guy, Thunderbolt, and Who Am I at least a dozen times each back then.
i THINK jackie has stated in a previous interview that the stunt with the lights in the mall was the most dangerous one he's ever attempted. memory is fuzzy though. they all look amazing and incredibly dangerous haha.
What most might not know, the clip at 10:05 was messed up. Jackie was supposed to jump through the red area of the sign on the right that was fragile for him to jump through, but he mustve misheard. What he jumped through was actual sign material, he got cut up pretty bad.
I really admire Jackie Chan when I' m still in grade school. it started when i first watch The Twin Dragon, and thats the start I keep watching all his movies...
U know what? I love the MCU and other fantasy films. But there's just something so jaw dropping about watching the actual actor physically and literally performingbthe stunts in their films
@@mezmermaster1347 yes that i know. He says that he always inspired from silent comedy era or Classic Hollywood era. I have always seen him paying homage, tribute to actors like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton , Harold lloyd, Gene kelly and Errol Flynn ( only from his movie "the adventures of robin hood) I always see buster Keaton stunts they were amazing , but i never saw any of his chase scene or Parkour scene
+Asalieri2 I believe he got major rub burns on his hands from the wires. Funny thing is the one stunt that almost killed him was one of his most simplest. at 7:00 when he jumps from the building to the tree, his first attempt the branch snap then he fell done on his head and it almost killed him.
Holy fuck. That stunt at 9:27 is insane. If he did that wrong he would of been crushed.. like seriously, i don't see the front of the vehicle being fake. Balls of steel.
The whole scene was done without permission so all the cars that pass by him are real. Ironically the one that hits him is his stuntman's. Jackie, after 3-4 failed attempts, yelled at his stuntman saying he won't have a family to feed if he doesn't hit him. That's how much of a perfectionist he is. In American films, if a star did that, that would be the highlight of the film and in slow motion. In this film, it's a 2 second clip that serves no real purpose other than to show how angry and daring Jackie is. And also, to show how nuts he is!
I actually meant the stunt after that, where the car was going down a tight allyway and it smashed into the wall. If that was genuinely real, which i'm unsure about.. then it would of killed him not just crushed him. Getting hit by a car in traffic is ballsy too though don't get me wrong.
Isn't it amazing that he began as a random extra in a Bruce Lee movie? Like, it could be literally any other extra, but it was that one guy that would later revolutionize cinema in ways people didn't even know a human could do it. Life is funny sometimes.
