My favourites would be Michael Angelis, Keith Wickham, Susan Roman and Rob Rackstraw.

Michael Angelis is my favorite James voice (not just as a narrator). His Scouse accent not only reflects the character's origins, but also fits his age and persona very well. I will never understand why they cut him out of MRR cause James IS supposed to sound old (hence his built date and the Annual story Old Groaner).

Angelis is the best counterpart for james in my opinion goerge is my second though it is an absoloute travisty we lost these two narrators they are the best ones the show has ever had

And this is controversial, but I quite like Susan Roman. Edit: My least favourite is probably Johnny Morris. I don't know; he's my least favourite Railway Series narrator. But he is closely tied with Susan Roman. Edit 2: Michael Brandon is quite bad, I think. So I'll take Johnny and Susan over him.

I think Rob Rackstraw did it the best in the CGI season 19 i remember watching Thomas and friends The Adventure Begins i think James' voice just change. So i like Rob Rackstraw as James.

My favourite is Luke Marty from the AEG US dub, since James is an adult engine in the show he's depicted very nicely
