In the beginning we fell in love with her voice and image, so pure and distinct. Then the "experts" decided to mould her into what they felt would be more "commercial". They tried to tear her from her comfort zone to see what else she could be. They made her hair red, then even more red, then even more hair.....Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got, till it's gone? The "experts" decided, to pave paradise.

I saw her supporting Russell Crowe 2 nights ago! Absolutely amazing! I had only seen her first audition and have just watched all of these now. She has gone back to her original look thank goodness and even came on stage with bare feet which was so adorable. I met her after and got a pic with her and told her how much I loved her. I kind of wish I had of seen these before I met her so I could tell her in person how happy it is to see her back to the way she was in her first audition! Love her so much!

When Ms. Dev looks back on these she tends to bag herself out without any warrant I feel, she was the star we see today. Talent is.

I hadn't seen her before this. She has that mesmerizing Celtic lilt. By the time they produced "I'll Be Watching You" I couldn't recognize her. Now, granted, the hair, makeup and set perfectly illustrates that song for me, but the change shocked me. It was like they morphed her into a 25 year old. Someone in the comments below said that the cute ommbop song ruined her but I thought it was adorable. A great teen song for a sweet 16, in my opinion.

I remember her. Her voice is so sweet and beautiful. Reminds me of my first crush when I was 11. She sang like her in many ways. Her voice was sweet, stunning, beautiful and made my heart melt.

2 judges are stuck in tunnel vision. You don't have to sound like the current trend of singers to be great! Janet's the real deal. Janet sings from the heart. A judge that sees her truly won't try to mold her into a commercialized singer. Rather she/he will hear her from her depth and beauty. Perfection isn't about never making mistakes, just the opposite. Success is built upon many "errors". Stop looking at people with a microscope- try a telescope. That's how you see a Star.

It's a shame she was made over into something unrecognizable from her 1st audition. The hair is too harsh, the song choices poor, at best. They took away the sweet girl we fell in love with and hardened her. Not everyone has to be Britney Spears. You can be softer and sing love songs and still make hit records!

They changed her music style too much and her look. She's beautiful the way she is and the romance songs fits her voice beautifully.

The music industry changes talented signers authenticity and the uniqueness of the voices, appearance, style and own genres that they relate to and connects them all together. They all end up sounding the same, looking the same, moving the same and loose their spark that separates them from "fitting in” and make money. The ones who never become famous and sign in their bedroom are in my opinion the most important and incredible singers. She was my favourite before they molded her with songs she had no chemistry with and she even didn’t have that pure, innocent and attractive look and energy. I still love her regardless because I know it’s them. It’s always the industry.

It’s really sad that they made her change that much. She looked so pure and sweet. But they changed her to look “ rebel” i don’t know what it was but the first audition she made me so happy. She looked like a sweetheart, but I’m definitely wasn’t a fan of her new look.

The producers kills everything who was precious about Janeth, her authenticity, natural look, her innocence,her youngest, pure emotions ... Instead they changed her for an image of a old lady and so comun girl with artificial red hair, shorts skirts,like others girls on tv, so badly not Janeth ... And they guive her comercial songs with no emotions, this is a very bad choice... I don't know who did a so bad work with Janeth but this is so sad for her pure potential! Shame on you people who destroyed the authenticity of Janeth.

It looks to me like X-Factor tried to turn her into Cindy Lauper. She's a natural beauty that doesn't need hideous false eyelashes, and she should be able to live and sing like the angel she was from Ireland.

Whoever's idea was that fourth song... good grief... no. I understand pushing an artist to stretch and grow, but that was an awful song choice for her. You changed the very things you said you liked about her. It's like someone who tells you they love you and then want to change everything about you. She still somehow pulled it off, because she is super-talented and creative and because she has a compelling voice and delivery.

just goes to show these judges dont really have a clue what they are doing, they ruined her style. X factor had to come to an end, it should just be 12 finalists picking songs they like or would sing if they were an artist and then leave it at that, the idiots at the table dont bring nothing to the table and never actually have, theyve probably ruined many potentially amazing musical careers with what theyve done on this programme
