Larfleeze is my favorite Lantern character. He's just super funny, but also a major menace because he holds the power of an entire corp all to himself. There was a comic where Larfleeze came to earth during Christmas. He learned about Santa Claus and how he can get you anything you ask for. So Larfleeze asked Santa for "everything". And when Santa didn't show up, Larfleeze promised to get revenge and kill Santa
Larfleeze is the goat bruh I been reading a ton of the Green Latern Corps comics and your not kidding he is hilarious and his greed is too much 😂💯 regardless he is a great character and is pretty damn strong holding his own againist a lot of top notch characters in DC verse
@@morning5tarr hmmm it's been a while since I read anything, the Christmas special just sticks in my mind because of how goofy it is. But I'll try During Blackest Night (an event where the Black Lanterns of death resurrected dead heroes), the orange lantern ring duplicated itself the only time in DC comics history that I can recall. Each corp needed a new host from Earth (since most Corp were against fighting on Earth), so each colored ring found a hero or villain from earth to be a lantern. Scarecrow got a yellow ring of fear, because who else would get one if not him? Flash got a blue ring of hope. The Atom got an Indigo ring of compassion. Wonder Woman got a violet ring of love. Mera got a red ring of rage (because Aquaman had died and turned into a black lantern, so she was rageful, but eventually got her red ring overridden by a violet ring once he came back to life). And finally none other than Lex Luthor got the only other orange ring of avarice. Lex then became even MORE greedy because of the ring, and stole Scarecrow's yellow ring. Then I'm pretty sure Larfleeze came just to take his ring back, and that was the end of Lex's run as an orange lantern. Sorry that wasn't exactly short, but there was a lot of context needed for how Lex Luthor got an orange ring
Wasn't there a story where Larfleeze heard about KFC opening up in space, stole all the chicken from the KFC, and Colonel Sanders had to convince him to give it back by making him his own dish?
@@4f52 white is most powerful but Black is also strong considering one black latern can bring back as many of the dead and spread endless rings of that color
We need a storyline where the Orange Lanterns membership begins to rise once again because Larfleeze realizes he could essentially lead an extremely powerful band of pirates.
I thought there was only green. Whenever I saw a different coloured one in past, I just naturally assumed that they where a bad/rogue one. These are the kind of videos I like. You learn something new everyday

Specifically Sonic Adventure 2, Originally released for the Sega Dreamcast. It wasn't specifically Knuckles' Theme but it serves as the track for the level of the same name. Knuckles has several other rap tracks in the game, but Pumpkin Hill stands as the most iconic due to it being a stage unique to the red dreadheaded echidna and its melodically smooth beat.

You forgot all members of the Indigo Tribe are criminals who had the ring forced on them. The ring makes them feel the pain they have caused, essentially forcing them into a redemption arc. Also, the Blue Lanterns are canonically the strongest corps (being able to reverse the aging of a dying star, for example) but have one weakness: they need a Green Lantern nearby for cosmic symbolism reasons. You need willpower for your hope to do any good.
Emotions on their own aren't evil but can lead to evil. Orange was best put by Kilowogg in the Green Lantern the Animated Series as "It corrupts one's sense of duty to greed"

Firstly the event that made the Red Lanterns hate the Guardians wasn’t alleged it happened under their watch. Their first attempt to police the universe was a machine army known as the manhunters. The Manhunters saw all emotions as a crime and started to commit mass genocide of entire galaxies until they were stopped.

I mean, technically they actually didn't do that genocide. It was a rogue member of the Guardians that became evil and reprogrammed the Mamhunters to kill almost all of sector 666 to make a point
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery. Ask him a question and he vanished in a second! I'm walkin' through valleys cryin' pumpkin in the alley, didn't seem happy but they sure tried to get me! Had to back 'em up with the fist, metal crack 'em, I'm hearing someone saying you a chicken, don't be scared! It had to be the wind, cause nobody wasn't there... I searched and I searched as I climbed up the wall, and then I started to fly, I went in deeper!
Larfleeze is not actually a member of the Orange Lantern Corps. His title is Agent Orange, and he commands the Orange Lantern Corps, construct recreations of all the people he's killed.
Is it just me or does anyone else dislike when the uniforms get more personal with the human lanterns? Like some are cool but others dont fully feel like they are a part of the corp
I never understood why the green and blue lanterns don't just live together. Every time the damned green corp gets destroyed or wiped, they could have just gotten help from the blue lanterns. If they stick together and live together, it would be so much safer for everyone. Reminds me of horror movie clichés of "let's split up" LIKE FOR WHAT! 🤣
DC really could be doing so much more with the Star Sapphire corp. A fleet of magical girls fighting for love, however toxic it may be? That sounds so fascinating.

They should've reconned the Green Lanterns to use courage or selflessness because will power isn't an emotion. Then all the Lantern Corps can use will power.
correct me if I'm wrong but, technically, the only pair of enemies/rivals lanterns are green (willpower) and yellow (fear) the rest don't have a counterpart as far as I know. ok. maybe I should include white and black lanterns but those weren't mentioned in the short. do any of the rest have a counterpart?
