@@weeterry During the development process, Obi Wan must have heard the sound of thousands of tiny LEGO minifigures calling out before being suddenly silenced.
The film-accurate explosion sounds in LSWII/TCS makes me prefer them over the rest (yes, these nostalgia glasses are on and they ain't coming off anytime soon)
Yah, okay, the only comedy in the original is kid stuff that is actually for kids, like spinning stars around darth vader, or throwing a lightsaber at someone who doesn't catch it and fumbles around for a second before dropping it, the mentor or whoever else is there promptly face palms while the other character looks sad and then the cutscene ends. Whereas in Skywalker Saga, there's a meme joke, spinning icecream cones around a dizzy person that the side character picks up from his dizzy spell and eats, and then they throw a lightsaber at the other person and he tries to catch it and while the dialogue mutes all sound, in the background, that same idiot is fumbling with the lightsaber until the joke is well and old, almost like they're trying to stop you from listening to the plot, because then he stumbles into them with the lightsaber, then goes back to the background, them both giving him a stern look mid dialogue. It draws out every joke, and at the same time, puts the end of the joke before you ever have time to process the beginning. 2:43 is a perfect example of the same concept, where they completely ignore the plot just for the joke.
