Surprised there's no trans-purple and dark orange geodes yet, considering that the new space sets have dark orange terrain and the minifigs are hunting for purple crystals.
I had similar thoughts when I saw the new city space line! I'm guessing that they went for the traditional crystals as a throwback to the original LEGO space themes, but I hope they introduce a couple more sets with new geodes later this year :)
Well, I'm not too familiar with the lore either. I was mainly thinking about jewelry, like a bunch of these connected to a chain. But there probably are many substances that these could stand for. If nothing else, elemental energy. Especially for the last wave of Bionicle G2 that had a very crystalline aesthetic. Not to mention that most Bionicle mocs have nothing to do with the actual story.
@@juhor.7594 Ah gotcha. Now you mention it I do remember Bionicle G2 having that aesthetic, and can definitely see how the geodes can integrate into those type of MOCs. I've seen some people make Bionicle MOCs without the constraction (actual Bionicle) parts, I can especially see how the geodes could make pretty cool detailing for those types of MOCs
I didn't even know LEGO made geodes. Of course, my family recently fell apart and I can no longer afford newer set releases because of that, so I just don't look on the shelves that often. Neat video.
I'm so sorry to hear about your family recently falling apart, I know how hard that can be. That's understandable, I too went through a season where I backed away from LEGOs for personal reasons and didn't keep track of new releases. I'll pray for peace and guidance for you as you navigate through this challenging season in your life :)
They all use to be at one point. The bright green one is long gone, but the other three might still be in production. From my experience the easiest was to find the part numbers is to look up "geode" on Bricklink, and paste that number into Bricks and Pieces. I hope this is helpful! :)
It's difficult to keep up with all of LEGO's new parts, as there's so many of them nowadays! I don't buy very many new sets, so there's probably several parts that I don't know about either :)
I 100% agree! Trans red would look pretty sweet paired with dark blueish grey. I think it would also be really cool if they tried some of the new "satin" colors (for example, the satin purple used for the crystals in the 2024 LEGO City space sets).
