10:10 that pumpfake is filthy. Look at the safety #21 totally bite on it. The misconception that his receivers do all the work to get wide open is a flawed and blatantly incorrect one. Mac deserves more credit.
@@glenndowdy4180 Neither did Tua or Stabler or Namath or Jay Barker. They all either threw the ball out of bounds or ran like scared little girls. I've seen em all play. The only other player better than Mac was A.J. McCarron and you can take that to the bank
People comparing him to two of the best QB’s in NFL history is hilarious. Also, Brees and Brady both have stronger arms now at 40 than Jones does right now.
@@zachf748 I don’t fully agree with that, Brady’s arm is slightly more stronger than Mac’s but that’s because it’s been built up and trained for 20+ years. 2nd did you see Brees’s last NFL game, he was struggling to throw a 10 yard pass, Mac Jones right now is way stronger
@@jalengreen1301 yeah jones has a way stronger arm right now but his arm is closer to ryans in his prime. His accuracy is insane tho which is why i cant understand why ppl hate on him but were saying tank for tua a year ago (when tuas accuracy and arm are worse).
Not to mention he was the guy throwing to all those receivers. You can have 5 5star receivers. If u don't have a QB to distribute the ball accurately at a high level, those receivers are almost useless. U can jet sweep em for only so long.
After all the Niners just spent on their O-line, I think they're going after him. He needs a good pocket, but is the purest passer I've seen in a long time... TB12 version 2.0? 👀
Absolute killer. The 3rd best qb in this draft based on tape (which is probably the best indicator of ability in the next level) and you’re absolutely out of your skull if you can’t accept that just because he doesn’t run a 4.4 40 lol
Something strange I noticed with this video. The beginning of the year his passes were normally 1/2 yard to 1 and 1/2 yds short. By the end of the year he wasn't ever off by more than 1/2 yrd. Thinking he might be an amazing pro if he has an offensive line. Possibly Bama's best ever. Time will tell.
War damn eagle still but mac jones has my respect, ecspecially how he played against Auburn in the iron bowl loss at jordan hare where he looked better than joe burrow did against that impressive defensive line with derek brown
That’s what you call a well oiled machine offense. Imagine if Waddle had not gotten injured in the TN game, they would have probably scored more points in each game.
Dude played on an all star team and just threw it up to 2 of the best receivers in college football (who more often than not had a lot of separation). I just don’t see what others see here.
Yea, no denying that. However, Joe Burrow is also more athletic, flashes potential to produce off script plays, had a little better/stronger arm and had way more tough throws into traffic/tight windows. Mac Jones is not on Joe Burrows level. Or even particularly close.
@@zachf748 well he has a higher QBR than him. Threw more touchdowns in a season. Had better throws against pocket pressure than him. And tbh fair its close. But burrow is more moblie than him.
Im.not too impressed, gd arm, gd placement, gota c wht he does whn he doesn't have a worldclass O line, whn he has to scramble, and he doesn't have Allstars recievers,,, and I didn't c him 1 time look a play off.. he looked every ball in,, nfl safties will eat tht for lunch
@@maxjulien8394 they weren’t simple practices goofy it was real drills where the defense is trying its hardest lmao draft scouts watch these drills they do in practice but your just a casual
