A huge part of me wished to see Dragons Dogma 2 on this list. Too bad it's yet another solo only game (as if we didn't have plenty already) 😢 Your videos are awesome! I'm a co-op fan and I hope you keep up your great work, guys.
Yeah the funny thing about Dragon’s Dogma 2 is that it’s rumored to have co-op, or some sort of multiplayer. It’s listed on the PlayStation Store but the developers haven’t confirmed it either way. We debated including it but decided to wait till the developer confirmed it. So there’s a chance it is co-op! Thanks for watching!!
true, i really hoped DD2 would have optional 2 player coop, where you could summon a second player with their main pawn, instead of two random pawns. Wouldnt need complete coop campaign or multiplayer, only a summon a player option at the riftstone. Buuuut I am still looking forward to DD2, its going to be an awesome arpg.
Thx for this list. I'm just always dissapointed because developers pretty much have forgotten about local multiplayer. There are still enough people that want to play with their friends in the same room. Could you make a list of that sort? Something bigger than just the usual Overcooked & such? Thx
Um, you forgot one of the biggest games in all of 2024 and it just came out in early access last Friday, (2 days ago). I am talking about, Palworld, which sold over a million copies on Steam in 8.5 minutes! It offers solo, Co-op of up to 4 players, and all out multiplayer with up to 32 gamers per server. It is one of the most fun survival/monster hunter games ever made. Most gamers are calling it Ark meets Pokemon but I also see design elements of BOTW in there as well. I started playing it yesterday and sunk 5 and a half hours in without even realizing it. I also played today for 4 and a half hours straight and it took all my strength to pull myself away from this amazing game so i could take care of my real life responsibilities. I predict Palworld is going to be as popular with gamers and as much of a worldwide phenomenon as Animal Crossing was. Like V Rising, which is another one of my favorite games, it only costs $29.99 for early access and $26.99 as a promo until 1-25-24.
Because companies have figured out how to milk the most out of gamers with the least of effort. They're using the same old game engines, borrowing game engines from other companies, using Unity and UE......just slapping the same look on top of every game, with minimal changes to mechanics and logic underneath. Also, most of the game design decisions come from investors and marketing teams, not from gamers.
How could you forget Granblue Fantasy Relink coming out later in January? The demo is out now, and it seems like it's going to be a fantastic JRPG co-op game.
Honestly I was shocked by this, easily the most hyped game subjectively, but if they hold up the premise of cross breading, coop survival, pokemon hunting with rocket launchers it sounds like a blast of a game.
I'm so excited for Granblue Fantasy Relink. It's definitely going to be the best co-op RPG ever and I'm hoping it's successful enough to make more RPGs in the future to finally add a functional co-op
My buddy and I tried out the demo a couple days ago and it was great. I've been excited for the game for over a year now, and I'm glad to see that it's not letting me down.
I'm so unbelievably excited for helldivers 2!! probably the only game i plan on spending the majority of my year playing online and then Dragons Dogma 2 for single player.
Loves these videos! I added quite a few to my wish list, but you missed a few games slated for 2024. For the city Builder players out there, Thrive: Heavy Lies the crown will allegedly launch in 2024. Think a modern Banished with Multiplayer. Then there is Shoulders of Giants, which I think you guys introduced to me, is slated for Q1 2024,
You're missing a few games but its a solid list for sure. I have Skull & Bones, Palworld and Blue Protocol on my 2024 list. Keep up the effort. Hard to find lists like these, its always the same lazy cliche coop game lists.
The vid is great as are most of these games, but I really think you should title the vid as Multiplayer games and not as co-op. All this games have only online "co-op". Maybe go for a couch co-op vid?? thatd b great!!
Thanks for watching! The majority have online co-op but there are more than a couple games here that do support either only local or both. We see “co-op” as a term that encompasses both online and local. Most people in the gaming industry see it that way too. Whereas “multiplayer” tends to suggest competitive multiplayer akin to something like Overwatch.
We considered adding it, but considering they’ve shown no footage of the co-op and it’s only been confirmed through the storefront page we wanted to wait to see what it really is. But we have high hopes!!
@@TheCoOpBroshow does it not make the cut? The point of the video is EVERY co-op game coming out in 2024, and granblue is fully co-op in both story mode and quest mode.
Xbox is smashing PlayStation atm. So many good survival games not on PlayStation. Guess I finally got to make the switch over. PS has been a huge let down on releases.
I don't know if you ever played Brothers: a tale of two sons but it isn't a real coop game. You could play it with someone with one controller but it was design to be played by one person controlling the two brothers at the same time.
You forgot LAST EPOCH releasing late February!!! 4-player co-op ARPG which sits right between Diablo 4 & Path of Exile in terms of complexity. Brand new trading/SSF systems!!! Huge!!!
There’s some games we didn’t include maybe cause there were smaller titles or just cause we had to make cuts but Last Epoch is one we honest to god forgot about haha We are excited for it though!
Great list, great video! Ravenswatch is actually 1-4 players, and with the new difficulty modes it's challenging and a lot of fun even now, in early access! 😊
My friend, if you played Brother's a Tale of Two Sons, you know it's not a Co-Op game. It's meant to be played singleplayer, unless they changed the controls or did something crazy.
Could not be more disappointed. Coop in 2024 is still not a thing. It starts on PC a little bit on PC and barely exists on consoles 😢 Can you imagine an Elden Ring with a real coop? The Last of Us in coop? A tactical PVE shooter coop on console? A fighting game like Sifu in coop?
Nice video! On my list for this year COREPUNK is a MUST! And also PAX DEI, BLIGHT SURVIVAL, THE FIRST DESCENDANT, DUNE AWAKENING, ARK 2, ROOTED, THRONE AND LIBERTY, WAYFINDER...
One not on the list, but listed as "Early 2024" is Abiotic Factor. I was in the December playtest with a friend it was great. Looking forward to it's release.
@@pickledokra2963 just like the first, ur friend can join you and slay absurd amount of enemies with stunning animations, spell and dark ambience :) and you can trade gems that give you spells
The one that impressed me the most was light no fire, actually the only one that hyped me, it could be released full of bugs but if it has the same treatment NMS has till today, it'll be an awesome game!
Why do most co-op videos continually overlook Earth Defense Force? It still remains one of the best split screen and online co-op franchises around. And a western release for EDF6 is just around the corner.
I'm not saying you haven't played it, but you really should. Partner up with a co-op buddy on splitsceen and unlock those big weapons. The script is pure tongue in cheek, the action is meaty, and there's a deep tactical element to the combat, something the new Helldivers 2 has clearly taken a lot of inspiration from. There's one thing it isn't: boring
