I found your channel thanks to the Youthforia thing and I'm so happy that I did. I LOVE how indepth you go into your explanations about products, their background, usage cases and more. I really love the work and look forward to viewing the back catalog of your videos. May you and your lovely wife always have joy in your lives.
I've been using a Sigma-brush shaped just like this one, to apply powder under the eyes to set the concealer. I love it. There's so much control and precision.
Fingers are always good! Help you get a natural blend and it's good bacteria wise because nasty things can grow in your brushes if you don't wash em regularly. I personally use fingers for foundation and then I go over with a wet beauty blender to get rid of any streaks or stuff like that. But don't feel bad! Your experience with life and love and everything in between actually makes you a great person to start into some different make-up techniques! Makeup is to highlight you already existing beautiful beautiful beauty and to express yourself! So please don't worry too much about not knowing all friend, very few of us do, and the fun is getting to try new things! (: take care friend! May your journey be fun, and may you never forget take your makeup off before bed! Hehe 🫂
Danessa Myricks is a makeup artist so these are a great tool kit for professionals that can be cleaned between clients. You may not need the full set for personal use, but MUAs in the 70s definitely had brushes and disposable applicators
I love your content. You give us great reviews and the knowledge behind your finding. You really try to give us as much information on the products and industry that you can fit in. Whether you find something a hit or miss you still stay grounded in a positive energy. It makes your content next level and really enjoyable😃😃😃
It looks like this is the Danessa Myricks My Yummy Brush Collection: Ultimate Edition. It’s a 40-piece brush set that comes with a carrying case, and it retails for $450. It’s too bad the brushes are not sold separately, because I’d love to pick up that triangular foundation brush she is using, but I probably don’t need the rest of the set.
I love your videos I feel like your really telling me the truth without all the ridiculous tiktok screaming an stuff plus here's a compliment from a girl who's autistic and adhd I actually retain the info you give out in your videos......watching your Italy vlog makes me want to go back but I want to go with you 2 so you can keep me busy I'm on holiday right now in England (from Scotland lol) and I'm like ahhh ill just nap all day hahaha x
Do you have any recommendations for brushes that are on the affordable side (under 15-20 per?) but still good quality? Looking to slowly upgrade my set (or collection, lol, we both know I’m not throwing out the old ones 😅) bit by bit, but I don’t have a great store near me and honestly even if I did I wouldn’t know what to look for!
I love love love reach techniques. Sonia kashuk brushes are great too and available at target. Also Jessup cosmetics brushes. Flawless. I also second the above comment of sigma. (They sometimes show up in the max and Marshalls if you're willing to hunt.)
When I was super broke in college I got a Milani brush and it was the softest thing ever, and still going strong to this day with no shedding or bristling. I should go get more....
I've not used brushes for foundation. I still think they have to hold a ton of product. Which means money down the drain. Anyone else know what I mean? I'm even careful with a sponge. I grew up using my hands. I still will do that. Then I use the sponge to dab and make it more seamless. I've seen Wayne Goss do something similar years ago.
