Beat it ...I liked the last so much I played another RPG! Never played it ..Why did I never play this fighter? Beat it ...Why not just call it Wolverine? Never played it ...It is still on my shelf Ghost rider...Beat it! Punisher..Beat it! ...Great game, I should play it again! I have played a lot of Superhero games.
Haha that’s awesome! Also refreshing to hear someone else who plays a lot of superhero games (even if some of them don’t fare as well). Thanks for checking out the video man!
Ultimate Spider-Man is an awesome game, and I’d agree that it’d be in my top 5 Marvel games of all-time as well. Capturing the footage for this video, I got really hooked back into the game and had a hard time putting it down. It holds up so well all these years later. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thank you man! Hulk Ultimate Destruction is such a badass game that nails the feeling of being the Hulk. Easily the best Hulk game, hands-down! Glad you enjoyed the video man!
Thank you man! I’ll be sure to also check out some of your content. I have your Burnout review queued up in my Watch Later list, still trying to catch up on that! Lol
Awesome video 😎👍💯 list of GameCube games to check out my list is-1.midway arcade treasures 1&2 2.burnout-2 3. crazy taxi 4.simpsons hit&run 4.sims busting out 5. Zelda collection for GameCube those are my list of hidden gems and great value priced games for GameCube.😎👍
Although I haven't played them on the GC, Ultimate Spider-Man and Incredible Hulk are the best Super heroes games from that era in my opinion! That Venom slip cover for the PS2 version is awesome and also makes an amazing display on the shelves! Great video and keep up the good work!
Marvel had better games on the six generation but DC man they really struggle from aqua man to Batman dark tomorrow Marvel had Spider-Man 1-2 and Hulk ultimate destruction and the X-men legend series we had some decent DC games but man just decent
Marvel definitely had the better lineup of games compared to DC's side of things. There are some DC titles that were decent, but more often than not, the games they had were not as well made. Thanks for checking out the video!
Great video brother awesome as always. I really wish they would bring back a legends or ultimate alliance game as that would b epic to coop. I got x2 in a VGM package and remember you telling me it was crap and it looks that way. Also ordered me a copy of wolverine origins lol thanks buddy ha
Thank you man! There was Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 on the Switch that was really good, but yeah, these games are great co-op games for sure! Yeah, X2 Wolverine’s Revenge is crap lol. The best part of that game is the demo reel that plays at the Press Start screen if you don’t touch any buttons. Glad you ordered a copy of X-Men Origins Wolverine on PS3/360 though! That’s an amazing game!
As a Marvel fan, I’ve always wanted to Play Ultimate Destruction. I’ve heard by so many including yourself that it’s a decent experience. “A web slinging A$$ kicking!” I love it!!! Oh! Spider-Man 1 and 2 are great! The predecessors on PS1 were phenomenal too! Never played Ultimate Spider-Man, but wow does it look Amazing! (See what I did there? 🤣) The cell shading is crazy good! Legends and Legends 2! Let’s go! Sooo goood! Wow! I never realized just how many Marvel games were on the Cube! Crazy! Thanks so much for showcasing these! Fantastic work my friend!
Oh man, Ultimate Destruction is just a ton of fun! I thought that line Spidey says in Marvel Nemesis was awesome lol. Spider-Man 1 is really good, but Spider-Man 2 really had me spending hours swinging around the city. And then Ultimate Spider-Man comes out and really blows my mind how great it was (and still is)! X-Men Legends 1&2 are great games, and the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series afterwards really did an awesome job building on the core gameplay elements (highly recommend Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 on the Switch as well)! Glad you enjoyed the video!!
Rewatching this video yet again and about half of the games are movie tie-ins. I prefer those movies over the MCU. And most of the games have some actors reprise their role. Notable being Tobey Maguire as Spidey in.... well.... both Spidey games, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X-Men: The Official Game (X2: Wolverine's Revenge never have him reprise his role as Wolverine. Part of that could be the fact that it wasn't intended to based on a movie) and Eric Bana as Bruce Banner in Hulk '03. Honestly I never saw neither of the 2000s Fantastic Four movies. Begs the question, who would act as non-MCU movie versions of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury and others? Also what company would do each movie (Publisher for tie-in game as bonus question)? I mean how did characters like Iron Man and Captain America not get movies in the early-mid 2000s!? There's Punisher, Daredevil and 1998's Blade got sequels.
I remember one game here you can fight a lot of the marvel spider man and when they where fighting the same game character the character turn green and had reverbed voice
I’ve played Spider-Man 2002 on the PS2 in my childhood, on the GameCube in middle school, and I’ve heard there’s one exclusive level on the Xbox version, which I’ve yet to play. (Edit: I bought the Xbox version on Ebay just yesterday.)
That's correct! The Xbox version had an exclusive level where you face off against Kraven the Hunter. It was a cool addition, but nothing amazing overall when I played that level.
As a kid I had Xmen Next Dimension & Ultimate Spiderman on the GC. Loved both games especially Xmen when I could pull off air combos. Nowadays I still enjoy Next Dimension but the GC's tiny Dpad on the controller for me personally significantly hampers my enjoyment.
X-Men Next Dimension I remember picking up back in the day when it was about $20. I got so many hours playing that game, whether solo or with some friends. The air combos were really cool to do, and one of the better mechanics implemented. When I was playing it for this video, I did need to adjust to the D-Pad again for a fighting game, but became second nature quickly lol. Ultimate Spider-Man still holds up so well all these years later and I found myself hooked replaying the game for this video. Thanks again for checking out the video!
Really enjoying these compilation videos. Found out about a few I wasn't aware of like Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects. For me, I think the gamecube titles appeal to me from a a gameplay point of view but more so, from an artistic point of view. Sometimes even if the game has flaws in gameplay I will be drawn to it from an artistic perspective. Maybe that's something you can look at in a future video, eg. 'Artistically impressive Gamecube games.'
Glad to hear you’re enjoying this compilation/topic videos! I have several other ideas planned for more videos like this, but I really like the “artistically impressive” idea! I’ll have to do a video on that in the near future 👍. Really appreciate the feedback man! Thanks again for checking out the video!
Loving your videos as it reminds of the classic era of gaming . All the Spiderman games were fantastic but yes I agree , ultimate Spiderman was the best but Spidey 2 was a very close second . Ultimate destruction Hulk was just the way a hulk game should be and reminded me alot of Spidey 2 as you could explore the whole city . Games nowadays just don't have the same vibe imo or perhaps it's because I'm getting older lol . Either way , these were just a pure joy to play 👍
Thank you man! Glad you’re enjoying the videos, and brings you back to the golden era of gaming! Ultimate Spider-Man was just so dang good, and loved the art direction of it. Hulk Ultimate Destruction was indeed the best way to make a Hulk game 👍. Agreed, games nowadays lack the soul of what made these games special. Thanks for checking out the video man, and greatly appreciate the support!
My best friend and I 100% completed Spider-Man 2 on GameCube around 2004-2005. I recently went back to it and it hasn’t aged well at all. I’ve never played Ultimate Spider-Man and am definitely going to give it a go.
That's awesome you and your best friend 100% complete Spider-Man 2 back in the day! Yeah, despite the game still being a fun time, it hasn't aged very well. Ultimate Spider-Man definitely aged much better thanks to its unique visual style. Hope you enjoy that game man! Thanks again for checking out the video!
I do enjoy Marvel Nemesis, but I do think the campaign mode itself was unbalanced with cheap elements. Despite that though, it's a game I still love the premise for and return to frequently. Thanks for checking out the video!
Oh really? This was a game I really wanted to like, but felt was very unpolished and the difficulty didn’t match Wolverine’s character. Felt he died way too quickly for being such a strong character. I had more enjoyment playing it with cheats though lol. That’s cool you got a copy of it through the Scholastic Book Fair though! Thanks for checking out the video and sharing that memory!
I'm with mark, wolvies revenge was to me much better than some others on this list. Maybe I just loved hearing Mark Hamill's amazing gruff voice I dunno, I remember being..not great at the game but having a good time. Had another wolverine game on the gba, two pack with a spiderman title where the main baddie was mysterio. Remember playing those two games way way too much trying to find all the hidden upgrades and such. Do love your content my dude, thanks!
@@kamenanew9867 I will say, Mark Hamill’s voice for Wolverine was REALLY good! The GBA version of the game is actually better IMO, and I also loved that Spider-Man Mysterio’s Menace game! Thanks for checking out the video, and glad to hear you’re enjoying the content!!
@@GameCubeGalaxy yeah the gba game Was better lol, for sure and yeah I been checking you out for a while now, definitely an easy sub for sure. Love my GameCube lol. Kinda bingeing your content lately heh
What a line up! Some very strong titles, and... a few.... not so strong. Hard to imagine that many coming out on 1 console generation now though - although things look to be picking up speed again. We'll see
Definitely a lot of very strong titles! Meanwhile, the PS2 actually had 25 Marvel games from what I recall. I am glad to see these games making more of a return lately. Thanks for checking out the video man!
Thanks for checking out the video, and glad you enjoyed it! There are so many awesome GameCube games to check out! I have numerous videos on the channel so far that may spark interest in games to try out. 👍
@@GameCubeGalaxy thanks man I really appreciate u responding. Just subscribed. Love the passion u have for what ur doing praying blessing over u n ur channel
@@GameCubeGalaxy here’s a few GameCube vid ideas ranking SpongeBob games from best to worst/ ranking the Disney games from best to worst/ ranking licensed movies best to worst
@@steveurioste4 Thank you for subbing to the channel! I greatly appreciate the support! I really hope you enjoy the content! Also, very good ideas for videos you pitched. The SpongeBob one is one I’ve received several requests for actually (I never realized how many people played the GameCube SpongeBob games)!
These compilation videos are very enjoyable. Again easy to consume. And will be great for future growth especially when it's a guarantee at this stage you can get monetized. Well done 👌
Spider-Man from Treyarch for the game cube was a title that I happened to personally have played through a bit. It Was really fun engaging the combo system and I am glad to see that it is featured here. Amidst the plethora of marvel games for the GameCube, I heard about Spider-Man the most actually …. But the Nemesis title actually looks pretty interesting here tbh. 😄😄😄👍 Great video.
The Spider-Man games were really good for the GameCube, but if you haven’t played Ultimate Spider-Man, that’s definitely my favorite one of the bunch. Marvel Nemesis had an awesome idea going for it, and the multiplayer fighting is a lot of fun. But the campaign mode is very rough to get through 😂. Glad you enjoyed the video man!
This video was great, an awesome resource for people to have! I'd recommend doing more of these sometime! Maybe like every STAR WARS game, every DC game, etc! Keep it up, love these GameCube videos!
Thank you! I’m glad to hear how much you enjoyed it (as well as my other content)! You read my mind lol, as I already am planning to do one for every DC game, every Star Wars game, etc. I had a blast making this video, so I plan on doing more of these in the near future! 👍
