Hopefully they’ll at least release the Buck T. Rex as its own thing even if we can’t get everything else in the set, it’ll suck if they won’t sell the Buck T. Rex as an upcoming Hammond Collection figure in the future just because it was part of the set, and besides, that T. Rex is what most of us are going to care about in that set anyways so I hope they have plans to release it separately, maybe around the same time we’ll see the Hammond Collection Spinosaurus which’ll also be exciting, it’d be perfect if they were both released at the same time, kinda like the Giganotosaurus & Therizinosaurus.
Now all that’s left for them to release that I’m hoping to see are these 17 additions: 1. Lost World Compsognathus pack with a small number of them inside the box 2. Lost World Tiger Striped Velociraptor 3. Lost World Buck T. Rex as its own thing instead of the Mattel Creations Gate 4. Lost World Adult Stegosaurus 5. Jurassic Park 3 Pteranodon 6. Possibly the white Jurassic Park 3 female black & white Velociraptor as its own thing like the other Velociraptors in the Hammond Collection line 7. Jurassic Park 3 Spinosaurus 8. Jurassic World Mosasaurus 9. Jurassic World Indominus Rex 10. Jurassic World Apatosaurus 11. Jurassic World Dimorphodon 12. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Indoraptor 13. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Stygimoloch 14. Jurassic World Dominion Allosaurus 15. Jurassic World Dominion Quetzalcoatlus 16. Jurassic World Dominion Iguanodon 17. Jurassic World Dominion Microceratus pack with a small number of them inside the box. Also for some species that don’t appear in the films or have a very minimal chance of appearing in the line despite appearing in the films, I’d want to see these 15 additions for the Hammond Collection line: 1. Edmontosaurus (a reference to how Edmontosaurus has made several cameos in the Jurassic franchise) 2. Styracosaurus (a reference to how they appeared in one of the JP novels) 3. Pachyrhinosaurus (a reference to how the Sinoceratops in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom was supposed to be Pachyrhinosaurus at one point) 4. Alamosaurus (a reference to the sauropod skeleton we see in the first Jurassic Park movie that had the T. Rex skeleton next to it, only this time it’d be close to the size of Dreadnoughtus & look similar to the Jurassic World Evolution 2 Alamosaurus) 5. Struthiomimus (feathered) (a reference to how Struthiomimus was one of the most popular dinosaurs in the first Jurassic World Evolution & feathered to reference the appearance of feathered dinosaurs from Jurassic World Dominion to differentiate itself from Gallimimus) 6. Thescelosaurus (feathered) (a reference to the Hypsilophodontids from one of the JP novels & feathered to reference Jurassic World Dominion) 7. Jurassic Park Telltale game Troodons with a small number of them inside the box (a reference to the Telltale Jurassic Park: The Game) 8. Plesiosaurus (a reference to how they were planned to appear in the first Jurassic World movie but were scrapped) 9. Deinosuchus (a reference to how they appear as a skeleton in a scrapped scene from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom & appeared in the Lost World Jurassic Park arcade) 10. Yutyrannus (feathered) (no clear reference, just a fun random addition that had no connection to the franchise whatsoever like the Hammond Collection Irritator) 11. Black & Red Carnotaurus from Jurassic World Dominion (unlikely to be added since we already have the Carnotaurus from Fallen Kingdom, but would still be nice to see) 12. Lost World Mamenchisaurus (unlikely to be added since it seems like Hammond collection is only going to focus on a few sauropods due to their size, but would be nice to see as well) 13. Red & Black T. Rex inspired from the Jurassic Park Novel (unlikely but would be cool to see) 14. Yellow & Black Velociraptor from Jurassic Park Trespasser (unlikely but would be cool to see) 15. Black & Red Alpha Velociraptor from Jurassic Park Trespasser (unlikely but would be cool to see).
We need a properly sized Triceratops in the Hammond Collection - we have the small one from on screen, but one a little smaller than the huge one we got in the regular line. It seems almost too big by a hair. And an adult Stegosaurus. The Spino is a given. Bring Lex and Tim in the Hammond Collection along with a LOT more people: Ajay, the Kirbys, Vanessa, Billy, Nick Van Owen... and JP Park Workers in the ball caps and pink shirts!
I hoped that we get a new marvel legends Mary jane Watson, Black Cat and Gwen Stacy figures based on J scott Campbell rendition of the design of the characters soon as a 3 pack or a singular releases soon by Hasbro
Why are all these "8+"? My nephew is going to be 5 soon, so it would be unsuitable, or perhaps inappropriate, to buy any of these for him for his B-day? Like why? I don't get it! Speaking of the dinos only, I do not see there any potential 'choke hazard' or anything like this. Or am I missing anything else?
They're 8+ to give the illusion that these are high end "collector" figures. In reality they're just highly articulated toys, nothing incredibly special it's all a marketing tactic. Most of the Hammond Collection figures would make fine gifts for a 5 year old, they're pretty durable and I'd honestly be surprised if s 5 year old could break one of the dinosaurs
