Glad I found your channel! We just bought the 24 Aspec and I was looking for people who had the same car, major difference since we’re coming from a base model 2012 Nissan Altima lmao love the videos bro
That is definitely a major jump 😅. I’m loving the car so far but you’ve got the 2024’ mid cycle refresh. That updated from end, beefier rear sides, wireless CarPlay, new exhaust tips, added stitching inside, updated infotainment and SH-AWD is an amazing combo. Enjoy it brother!
I'm looking to do similar. Some simple bolt ons, a proper exhaust, a conservative tune, and probably just a front lip. picking up a '21 a-spec in a day from now. I'm coming from a 2016 2.4l TLX that I've had for about 4-5 years now. had it lowered on tein coils and everything, so im looking forward to more comfortable daily driving and some decent power. Will be following along with your build, good video!
@@HomeGrownPyro1 for me, i absolutely LOVE it. coming from the 2.4 N/A 1st gen TLX, the power difference and delivery is night and day. i ultimately chose the TLX over Audi, BMW, Lexus, and a few others because I think it looks 100x better inside and out. I wasn't willing to sacrifice the styling and plush interior for something that would be a little faster. Keep in mind this is my daily driver. Yeah I can build a BMW 340 or a Q50 and put down more power, but wasn't worth it IMO. Really no complaints on the TLX for me, only one which I saw you mention in another comment is no remote start. With all the new tech they've given us, you'd think remote start would come standard on all newer Acura models. But again, it's one minor thing and it's not a make or break decision for me, so definitely happy with my purchase.
Thank you so much! And I’m trying to maintain the comfort while building a car I love. I’m probably just going to do a -1.0” because the car does feel a bit high but I will be getting new wheels from BBS and the full OEM ground effects package so maybe I’ll change my mind on that as the car is already quite stiff. I was also wondering on bringing the active damper system from higher trims as I know people do it from the new Integra Type S to the Civic Type R.
I agree with the no remote start. It really pissed me off when I realized after the purchase, because I assumed that a luxury brand would include a remote start as a standard feature on all models…. But nope even after all the money you spend on these vehicles I’m still forced to spend an extra $150 a year to have that feature through the app. Such BS
I’m gonna wait a bit but it’s definitely on my list of more important things to get. So far got a muffler delete with new quad tips, K&N cold air intake, next is a downpipe and a tune, after will do remote start and a heated steering wheel.
@@TastyRides thats awesome, have you noticed any difference yet with the mods you installed? Those are the same mods I want to do to mine as well. The salesman told me when I bought mine that you can get quite a bit more HP out of it from doing the couple mods you mentioned above.
Ktuner with a Phearable stage 3 tune is a must! Add a good measure of power BUT doesnt jeopardize reliability. I've been running this for three years now, without any issues.
@@HomeGrownPyro1 $650 for a Ktuner v2 plus $249 for the stage 3 tune. When I tell you it completely changes the car's personality (for the better), it's no understatement. There's really no change under regular driving BUT if you get more aggressive with the throttle, the game changes BIGTIME!!
I will definitely look into it! I’ve only done a muffler delete and cold air intake. Was planning to do a downpipe but wasn’t sure about what to do after. What bolt on’s do you have?
