Yes! I think it's so unfair to get these type of effort and consider some kind of mocking failure when there is so many defenders that give up the defense. I mean, it is awesome to see a contested dunk being successful, but it should be way worse to a defender's moral to not even try.
@@valadao Yeah but that's what makes these plays so great. The defensive effort has a huge chance for glory. If you block a dunk like these, that's easily a career highlight.
James Johnson has been an underrated nasty dunker in his career. The dunk he had on Andre Drummond might be one of the rudest in the history of the league
I’ve never really been impressed by “posters” where da player is clearly trynna take a charge like obviously if he’s standin still ur gonna dunk over him😂😂
@@ronaldomendoza7578 or the one with giannis where he was Tryna chase down to block.. i found it weird how the homie, herzonja turned around, stared at him And stepped over giannis
Fr, id rather see an NBA star have a whole reel of them getting dunked on (like Giannis) coz i know they tried to play defense, that why you don't see any poster on James Harden
@@adrianpaulochoa9825 it's also the fact that James harden is a PG and Giannis is a pf. Giannis is in the paint playing defense while harden is on the perimeter
And then you have people like Draymond Green pushing players airborne during dunk or kicking people nuts or face and get nothing. This league is a fucking joke nowdays. Refs went to NHL school of Ref'ing. Now they ref based on the game results, not on rules. It's fucking pathetic.
@@Elasko Dray has the longest leash in the league when it comes to technicals. And he knows it, too; he knows they’re not gonna eject him- let alone in a finals game. It’s why he’s not afraid to be out of control lmaoo.
If you watched the Mavs / Warriors game live when Wiggins dunked on Luka, you'd put it way later in the list. Lowkey if Luka didn't flop and everyone maintained their hype had there been no whistle blown, it maybe would be considered an all-time poster. I was rooting for the Mavs and I felt disrespected through my screen lol.
Nah that wasn't an all-time poster. Plenty of way more disrespectful and savage posters that were on a whole other league. Pippen on Ewing, Deandre on Knight, Kobe on Dwight etc.

@@dallaswood4117 Exactly.. remember when Trevor Ariza was the god of poster dunks back in the 2000s.. he would kick the defender first to avoid the block lol
Bro “getting dunked on” mean it really has to be a lot of contact and at least in front of him, just jumping by him trying to block is not getting dunked on
I dont understand like half these dunks, why are people allowed to lead with their elbows, if your on defense and you get a full speed elbow in the face of course your getting dunked on
JT shoulda been number one. You gotta have an insane amount of belief in yourself to attempt that dunk, against the face of the league, as a young player and in the playoffs at that. Then going back to chest bump him is just epic lmao
