Syntac found out what the ember crystal wyvern does, if u keep using the fire breath it starts to pump the heart meter thing and the fire becomes more and more blue, im thinking it does more and more damage.
@@chriswhinery925 their feet are obviously too small to do that, not webbed and also their bodies obviously arent built for swimming, its like saying this thing has wings and can glide why cant it just fly?
Lucky pc players. Console people are getting this map at September 😢 Edit: thx for all the replies, I get why it's delayed on console, most of ark's community is pc at the end, and this was a mod before, but it's very annoying the fact that it's a whole 2 months.
WildCard before: We nerfed fliers like the pterodactyl and Argentavis because we dont want flying mounts to be too powerful. WildCard now: We added better Wyverns and a Tapy with a jet booster/grenade launcher. Enjoy. WildCard now
WildCard in the future: Here’s an invulnerable giga with a jetpack and laser eyes that immediately kills anything it looks at and can eat metal structures to gain 1k health per structure
Tropical wuvern shouldn't have wings, but instead be an amazing swimmer, and be able to leap out of the water like a dolphin, while still being able to traverse the lannd
The ember wyvern gets a rage meter, and how it works is consecutive fire breath hits, within a certain period of time, increase it's damage. Also for the blood wyvern, like the argy it gets health from eating corpses.
Use it to tank turrets while healing off a giga and as soon as the turrets are out, send in the giga thats 2 hits away from raging. Wildcard: CaNt PoSsIBlY bE oVeR pOwErEd.
As a poor console player I am personally frustrated by this lol Also I thought the ember wyvern would launch an explosive fireball for some diversity instead of a flamethrower but whatever Oh well the Trop wyvern makes up for it cause its basically a water wyvern which I've wanted forever
Enes Karadeniz. Console suffers serious issues. There are more bugs than insects in the world. Good luck playing Extinction, the textures will bug out, models will morph, rapid drops in frame rates, and so many more. Honestly, I don’t care about new content. I just want the devs to fix the base game because there are just to many issues with it. Console honestly feels more like easy cash. Especially sense you still can’t get mods on console.

@Syntac The Ember Crystal Wyvern deals more damage the more you breathe fire, on the right side there's an adrenaline bar similar to the trike that rises the more you breathe. also the base of the fire breathe turns blue to signify more heat. (Tested)
Hey syntac! There’s a better way than force taming, because force taming breaks the Dino’s code a bit so they can’t do what normal tames would do. But if you use “DoTame” then it tricks the game into thinking you went through the whole taming process AND you get the bonus levels from if you actually tamed it. The one con is you must have a saddle ready for it, but I thought that this would be more useful to you instead of “ForceTame”. Anyway have a good day if you ever read my comment.
Finally more wyverns for my rookery! Hopefully they release the creatures to console BEFORE the map release, and temporarily let the creatures spawn so us console users can access the creatures before the initial release. Edit: also hope we can use multiple types of grenades for the trop’s grenade shooter.
AHECKINAUSSIE PERSON too big to run on console? You’ve gotta be joking me. I know games with maps ten times the size of anything wildcards put out and they run just fine on my Xbox.
I was kinda sad that they didnt bring over the Crystal Griffin, but either way, the crystal wyverns look great, and the boss looks so pretty, and the bird looks pretty cool, cant wait to check him out 😄
The Fact that the Map features a NEW Boss that isn't a reused one just opens potential ideas for modders. I imagine the Dermis of the Queen Crystal Wyvern Looks Amazing.
Ember Crystal Wyverns fire a longer-ranged but narrower fiery breath which does more overall damage, and is additionally buffed by their Rage, which increases the more the fire breath is used.
@@mani21axe40 They did not. You have to knock out the Heir Crystal Wyverns in the old Wyvern Canyon, harvest primal crystals from them, and use them to passive feed the crystal wyverns that spawn elsewhere.
Nah the oppressor is speedy and powerful, the Tropeognathus is basically just speed, the grenades do a pretty mediocre dmg, a wyvern or a griffin could beat him if he doesnt run away
The tropical wyvern needs to be like the pelegornis. We should be able to sit in water with it. Maybe not dive, though that would be cool, but just sit at the surface like the pelegornis.
It'll be cool if they change how wyverns use their breathe abilities. Instead of just pressing a key and it shoots out it ability, how about we hold the key down and it just does it constantly until we run out of a special stat meter?
I haven't played the official version, I hope that the tropical crystal wyverns colors weren't changed. Because the colors they spawned with in the mod were SO BEAUTIFUL.
As a griffin lover i am really sad that the crystal griffin seems not to be there ... need to check the trench where it is on the modded version but yeah, the rest looks really nice! Thanks for showing all the creatures!

I have discovered that the tropical wyvern breath does damage over time to any hostiles and the ember wyvern has a rage meter similar to the trike and giga and the way to trigger it is, according to my gameplay, begins to trigger when you deal damage with the breath attack while in combat meaning you use your breath attack and you receive damage at the same time.
So they deleted Phoenixes, Wyvenrs, Crystal Griffins, Rock drakes, Basilisks, Liquified creatures, the roaming Broodmother, light pets, zombi Wyverns... And added 1 new dino. Woop freaking do. :(
I think I may have figured out the ember crystal wyvern thing. There are no buffs from fire or lava, first off. Second, normal fire wyverns do % damage to enemies instead of a flat dps. It appears ember crystal wyverns do the same, but the % dot increases slightly with consecutive fire breaths. Hit them repeatedly before the flames wear off for too long and it seems to ramp up. Can't be completely sure though.
The ember crystal wyvern has a longer range fire breath, it also has a rage meter which goes up the more you use its breath which will increase the breath damage

Yep. Looks like they removed the rock drake spawns. What a surprise. I'd be less unhappy about it if they didn't allow wyverns on every damn And even griffons. But the Rock drakes feel like a slap in the face to anyone not playing Ab. Particularly because those things are fun as hell on Rag, and there was even an area built in the map for RDs to spawn. But that's just a personal gripe.
