@@TheRomonator he could just watch the reviews then and see how they work. If it wasn’t obvious, this guy is a rage bait channel and why you’ll see most comments say something among the lines of “Don’t let bro ever cook again” or people just criticizing and/or roasting the guy. For example, what i did in this comment.
And so is Samus, but you can't tell while she's in her armor and 1. That's a good thing it means the armor works, 2. Generally speaking you don't want your enemy to know if your a woman in combat. @@JspiderTheMainChannel
The round plate with a bent handle showed up in white a while ago-I think it was the fall ‘23 wave-in a couple Friends sets. I believe it’s new in black. The “D-snot” short brick with a stud on one side and a rounded back is new in blue, but has been around in black, light bley, and white since 2023. It first showed up in the Speed Champions January ‘23 wave. And, yes, they’re both insanely useful pieces.
I somehow managed to get all 12 of this set in two 6-pack boxes. Honestly this is the one series I wouldn't mind a few duplicates in, as a lot of them are fantastic.
Back in the day there was a series of sets named “Ice Planet 2002” when I was growing up in the early 90’s. It looks like LEGO has brought it back dropping the 2002 from the name.
I am going to buy these sets. My god, so good! I loved LEGO space from the 90's & I am going full nerdstalgic rn. Anyone remember Lego Mania magazine & the mail in order paperback catalog from back then? If you do, I give you hugs bc you're a champ.
@@depresseddoggo1104 I admit I misspoke, but wtf does 40k have to do with it? Yeah they’re in space but 40k doesn’t teach you astronomy, I’m talking about the basic shit you learn in school.
The black part he is holding is VERY old, but was not reprinted for ages, it was in some of the original model sets, it came in a lot of colors. Generally they had you stack them to hold the “flowers” like a bush kinda, or let certain door builds work
@@thedrawingkid1318 if we got it in grey or silver maybe 😂, warhammer feels fitting being that the marines would be a bit flashier with their instruments of the emperor
The reason why it's sorta important it's a woman, is ice planet was the first system of Lego to include a woman. So you might not care, but it's kinda cool they would give a nod to this
The black bar piece from the ice guy was really helpful in one of my most recent builds. I don’t think any other piece would have worked as well for what I needed it to do. Definitely a very good piece
As someone in possession of all these i can say the m-tron lifter hand is sick, the bug head is in fact a head and not a helmet the chainsaw is made entirely of new peices, the ufo is underwhealming, the antenna also plugs into the robots green dome and his legs are one piece that can stand on a 2x2 stud area
The robot guys antenna does have something we've seen before. There is a hair piece that matches these headphones and there's a tiny hole in the hair and a tiny spike in the headphones
These are like imagining what they would have done with the original releases if they had the ability at the time. Very cool interpretations of retro space themes.
That orange chainsaw immediately brought me back to the Lego Ice Planet 2002 sets I had as a kid. God, I miss those sets. I had the Blizzard Baron (6879) and the Ice-Sat V (6898). Besides the Lego Star Wars sets when they first started coming out, these were always my favorites. Yes, I'm old enough to have seen the beginning of the Lego Star Wars line. They first came out in 1999 to tie in with Episode I. And they were an absolute game changer.
The alien bug head is one solid piece, the alien android man has a hole in his head for the antenna, the robot assistants legs are one solid piece, and the UFO disk attaches like a cape. Source : me, these are the pulls ive gotten
The purple warrior is actually Orion. His shield has the constellation on it. I love that figure so much that i wish there were figures for every constellation.
As for the guy with the thing sticking out of his head, there have been previous pieces with a similar functionality, like the Steamboat Willie minifigures for Mickey and Minnie.
Dude that’s straight up a fallout power armour helmet I love itttt Also the bottom if possible a singular “foot” off that last guy would be great for those r2d2s
