Honestly the real issue is no Joe Flacco, did absolutely nothing after 2014 but was solid from 2008-2014 and had arguably the best playoff run of any QB not named Joe Montana
Yea, I don't like the Ravens but Jackson is the best running back I've ever seen play the QB position 🤣 Dude is ridiculous! Definitely gotta give him a few more years though, and now they have Dobbins for a RB that's a tough young offense.
@@k.m.z.hardesty Vick was a better runner than Jackson at the QB position....by far. Jackson has the benefit of playing with a top 5 Offensive-Line. Jackson is also terrible against good defenses.
Andy Dalton being on the list is more a reflection how bad the Bengals are with QBs. Their QB ineptitude just gets overshadowed by the Browns all the time lol
Or, for that matter, Tim Krumrie, Max Montoya, Isaac Curtis, Bob Trumpy.....with the Bengals, there are always 2 thoughts. One, the ones that got away due to injury or trade, like Greg Cook, Ki-Jana Carter, Ickey Woods, Charlie Joiner. And, two, Mike Brown the cheapskate owner who keeps the team millions under cap and never bothers to fund a bench, then wonders why we're out of contention by December.
The Vikings have had some truly great players over the years. I would have left off Bud Grant and taken AP or Cris Carter. Grant was so out- coached in the 4 losing Super Bowls it has to be held against him.
Massive snubs on Ken Riley (Bengals), Bob Lilly (Cowboys) Lance Alworth (Chargers) Frank Gifford (Giants) Gene Upshaw (Raiders) Calvin Johnson (Lions) Walter Jones (Seahawks). Some others I disagreed with, and the list could have given more credit to O-linemen. Some good stuff on here too though. As a packer fan, my Rushmore would be Hutson, Lombardi, Favre, and Rodgers. Lombardi representing the dynasty I think opens up Starr’s spot for Favre.
"Bowlen became owner of the Broncos in 1994. And he stayed there until his death in 2019. As owner of the Broncos for 35 years..." That's 25 years. Bowlen became owner of the Broncos in 84 not 94. *Insert face palm here
Favre is the type of quarterback to just throw the ball up in the air and hope that someone on his team will catch it. He's a bitch. Always has been, always will be.
Yeah, because he's easily a top 10 RB, yet the only other player that could crack a top 10 is Bruce Smith. Kelly and Reed are arguable, but are nail-biters. There's so many great QBs and WRs, it's not even funny.
No Bud Grant made the Vikings your obviously ether too young or know nothing cause without out Grant there isn't any early success for football in Minnesota.
pat tillman, bo jackson, eric dickerson, sean taylor, adrian peterson, ocho cinco, troy polumalu, adam vinitairi, brett favre, rod woodson, marshall yanda, bobby bell, will lanier, randal cunningham, devin hester, dante hall, steve mcnair, marcus allen, chris johnson, oj simpson, willie brown...jus to name a few
@@davidminor4213 Yes, because the team was originally the Oilers. Same lineage, same team, same owners. Just because you move doesn't mean everything that came before doesn't count. If that's the case, the Rams wouldn't include Warner, Faulk, or anyone else from the St. Louis stint.
To be fair, their coach did coach them for 20 years and built a dynasty with them. If it helps (probably doesn't) I'd but Troy alongside James Harrison, Ben Roethlisberger, and Mike Tomlin for their second Mt. Rushmore
Chuck Noll is one of the best coaches of all time. Sorry to say but, Troy, and Ben are not on the same level as Noll. I would have put Lambert or Blount in for Bradshaw, but an argument can totally be made for Bradshaw.
@cris_h23 True but Troy Polamalu isn't making the top 5 best on Steelers defense. Greene, Lamberg, Woodson, Blount, Lam, Shell. The problem most of the people commenting on this haven't been watching football for more than 10-15 years so they have no respect for the historical great players and coaches.
I'd take off Rosie and replace him with Emlen Tunnell. That man was a monster with records that will never be broken. Also broke the color barrier with the team
Was gonna comment this. Matthew Stafford literally is the best player to walk a football field on god. The lions can't do shit without him, but with him we often look like one of the best offensive teams in the league. This is of course with 0 o line and a lackluster run game at best most years. Any other team and he is a tb12 or a Manning or a Brees right now. The lions are just so fucking awful that somehow such an amazing player and arguably the best wide out ever can't even get them much more than above .500. Fuck he deludes the Madden ratings adjustors into the lions having a 80 overall offense or something just because they show flashes of brilliance in spite of the executive incompetence, but it's only because Stafford. His ability to read a defense is on par with Brady and mahomes, his toughness is near unrivaled, he threw a game winning pass with a totally dislocated shoulder and took a hit to it on the play, and it took a back injury to finally sideline him. Any other team would do so fucking well with him it's not even funny.
@@thebee0320 He is the greatest all time on the lions maybe. But he is not the greatest to walk a football field. That goes to the GOAT himself Tom Brady
He was good but he was too early in his career to break records and do anything great. Sadly he died but we dont know if his career would have flatlined, declined, or if he would be one of the best safeties ever. It was just too early
@@NEVAR177 I absolutely agree. He was a great player and changed the game but I'm pretty sure this guy is going by what the player has accomplished. Dont get me wrong in my opinion I think he should be but 🤷♂️
I would've gone with Favre over Rodgers. Even though Aaron is said to be better, he still has ways to go if he wants to surpass Brett as the Packers all-time passing leader.
Also forget that Richard Sherman was Colin Kapernicks favorite WR. Had Alex Smith been the starter, Seahawks would lose out on Wilson and Sherman on their rushmore. Perhaps the 49ers Rushmore would have been... Walsh,Montana, Rice,Harbraugh and Young
Voltexx VG I’m not saying he still holds all of those records, though some of them he does, but every single receiving record document at the time was held by Steve Largent the year he retired
I say Russ, Wagner, Largent, and Lynch because those were all the best players in each aspect of the game, passing Russ, Defense Wagner, Receiving Largent, Running Lynch
Shannon's too far down the list. Great player but not top-4 greatest in franchise history, especially if you start including owners and coaches. If that's the case, Bowlen is a no brainer as is Elway. The other two could be a wide variety of choices (Von being the obvious for more recent fans who have no idea who/what the Orange Crush was).
The Bears could have three. In addition to Payton, Halas, Nugurski, and Butkus, you could include Grange, Ditka, Atkins, Singletary, and Urlacher. Maybe Dent. Oh, and Sid Luckman and Gale Sayers. But yeah, the 49ers could use two and probably three as well. Man, putting together an all-time team for these guys would be very interesting.
@@aaronchristian1810 So like eight people agree with you? Washington have no fans and nobody cares. I would like to see the Redskins move to London, DC has enough trash there anyway.
Corey Perdue nigga you need to shut the fuck up, like this nigga is a legend. He almost led the redskins to the Super Bowl. And you sitting here saying “just because he died?
There are definitely two guarantees on the mt. Rushmore of bears walter peyton and george halas the rest you can switch around and really cant go wrong
This is a fubar. Favre doesn’t belong there, nor does Rodgers. Starr and Hutson are both shoe-ins. Lombardi? He was a coach, not a player. If you’re gonna put him up there then you need Curly Lambeau, too. Even before Vince, because if it hadn’t been for Lambeau, there’d have been no Green Bay Packers around in 1959 for Lombardi to coach. My players only Packers Mount Rushmore: Bart Starr, Don Hutson, Ray Nitschke, Reggie White That leaves off some amazing talent: Johnny Blood, Arnie Herber, Jim Taylor, Paul Hornung, Willie Davis, Herb Adderly, Willie Wood… Coaches and GM’s? Lombardi, Lambeau, Wolf
@@ditto1958 Thank you, White has to be there no argument. That would be like the Bears without Butkus. I know your main enemies, but a Hero is only as good as his/her Rogue's Gallery.
Here is my Steeler four...Jack Lambert, Joe Greene, Hines Ward and Troy Polamalu over Big Ben but barely. Those 4 exemplify what a Pittsburgh Steeler should be...PHYSICAL
Every time this dude make a list it's so obvious he knows nothing first off learn how to pronounce people's name and how do u make a list of Titans and leave off Steve McNair
They just threw this shit together you can tell. Whenever they pick the next 5 super bowls they put teams like the titans, bucs and browns in the super bowl. They really think every young quarterback drafted high the past 4 years is going to win a super bowl when thats just not gonna be the case.
The title says “players” but there are a ton of front office guys, and coaches on this list. I understand their importance but would like to see this list as a players only list
Nick Kelly not only that. They made a few mistakes on this video. Saying the Frank Tarkenton led the Vikings to 3 super bowl appearances in the 90’s. And showing the wrong picture of Art Rooney. Like wtf. This video is wack.
MOUNT RUSHMORE GUYS!!! not you favorite modern player..... 1. Who made the team iconic 2. Who were outstanding key players 3. Who revolutionized the game 4. Who had a lasting legacy with one team.
Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford and Jason Hansen are all not on the lions one. CJ Jr. Had a segment on sports science on him, he will catch any ball thrown within a two car garage of him consistently. Stafford is one of if not the most arm talented QB we've seen and has literally carried the lions with the help of one wide out at a time and at one point Reggie "cough it up" bush. I believe Jason Hanson is the highest scoring NFL player ever, if not close Edit, he's 4th, but still
Not a Jets fan but I’m glad his Curtis Martin’s name is mentioned here. Martin was a great back that doesn’t get talked about enough. Yeah I know Brown, Sanders, Payton, Smith are among the greatest-btw I’m a Cowboys fan, but man Martin was amazing too.
Technically Chad and AJ never had a playoff win neither, but atleast they preformed at an Elite level,. I woulda put Ken Anderson over Dalton. Also Paul Brown would be just as appropriate on Cincinnatis as well as clevelands
Dude how do not have Howie long, bo Jackson, or Charles Woodson in the Raiders Also you got to put Jeff Saturday on the colts come on man do some research.
Huh, that’s impressive that Tarkenton led the Vikings to “3 Super Bowls in the 90’s.” That would put Fran in his 50’s, so Brady’s diet ain’t got nothin on Fran the Man I guess
I’ve been watching this channel for over a year, and have loved every video I’ve watched... but not even MENTIONING Joe Thomas on the Browns. First miss ever on this channel.
Ville Bryant these guys are fucking stupid man Favre is more accomplished then Rogers rn idk I’m gonna stop watching these vids because clearly they don’t know what there talking about
I understand Gronk is one of the greatest tight ends ever, but dudes been injured for half his career. Leaving out someone from the linebacker core from the early 2000s for the patriots is disrespectful.
@@gingycakes7608 Its about what he did while he was in Green Bay...he made them relevant again, Rodgers just took over what Favre built...not saying Rodgers is bad but my opinion is Brett was better...3 MVP's and 2 Super Bowl appearances, winning 1 of them over my Patriots.
Phil Vapes 21 I mean Rodgers 2 MVP and taking a wildcard team to win a super bowl is pretty impressive. Let alone having the best TD-INT ratio of all time and best passer rating in NFL history is no joke. I know Brett threw a shit ton of TD’s but the guy also has the most interceptions ever by a quarterback and nobody’s close. His TD-INT ration isn’t even 2-1. I love Brett hell hes part of the reason I became a packers fan but I personally feel Rodgers in the end of the day deserves to be up there for carrying that team to relevance for so long
both won super bowls, and rogers comp % is the best ever. it should have been LOMBARDI [DUH, SB TROPHY NAME] , Farve, Rogers, Starr,,, maybe Reggie white; but who to kick off list
