Trenton Simpson is the guy to look out for in Baltimore. 3rd round pick out of Clemson he's the favorite to replace Patrick Queen. Dude is JACKED and has really flashed in practice so far
Kinlaw is a good dude he worked his ass off. He had 2 main problems in SF 1 his knee ACL was missed, and he already has old knees with wear n tear. So if he balls, which I think he could, his years seem limited right now. Hopefully, for him, the knee lasts and he can play for many more years.
I think the breakout for DC this year is actually either Dorance Armstrong or Quan Martin. Dorance finally gets to be a starting edge with a really good interior and Quan is already a guy who showed to take the ball away and now he has DQ and Joe Whitt.
I would say Musgrave and Kraft were even at the end of the year. Kraft did a good job stepping up when Musgrave lacerated his kidney. Didn’t exactly start using Kraft over Musgrave. But I like the Kraft pick for this. I think he’ll be really good
If Yaya Diaby has a breakout year for Tampa Bay. Tampa is winning the NFC South. They have a good offense and defense is already solid It could be better if they can get a consistent pass rusher
Gervon i think will be a smaller DT. He has really worked on his conditioning this offseason even doing the conditioning workouts with the DEs in training camp. The bears also have a great nose tackle against the run in andrew billings who helped turn the bears from the worst run defense to the best.
They're saying that AT Perry has been struggling in camp because of the new system and that he hasn't been making enough plays. They feel great about Olave and Shaheed but everyone after that is up in the air
Its funny, this video is like the list of guys i liked the most in the last 2 drafts. Minus Bryce. Benton was my guy, think i had him top 10. Was a huge fan of Jayir Brown too. Forbes has been one of my biggest "misses" the last 2 classes, hope youre right on that one.
For Arizona, maybe Michael Wilson due to having a decent rookie year with only Trey McBride driving away coverage. He just needs to stay healthy. For Atlanta, maybe Clark Phillips. Even if it’s at nickel, he could make a lot of plays and be elite at that spot in spite of his lack of size. For Baltimore, I might go with either Travis Jones or Andrew Vorhees. Travis Jones has shown flashes and could end up being opposite Madubuike and getting more opportunities. Voorhees could have been an early Day 2 pick if not for a season ending injury before being drafted. He’s considered solid and could be their solution on the 1 side of Tyler Linderbaum. For Buffalo, I’ll throw out AJ Epenesa. He finally started to put it all together, allowing the Bills to trade Boogie Basham. He and Rousseau could be an underrated pass rushing duo. For Carolina, maybe Jonathan Mingo. Mingo underachieved his rookie year, but has looked pretty solid. He could be their #3 receiver behind Thielen and Diontae Johnson. For Chicago, maybe Jaquan Brisker. While he’s more of a box safety, he could be getting more opportunities closer to the middle of the field with good corners and the addition of Kevin Byard (assuming he’s not washed up). For Cincinnati, I’ll go with Andrei Iosivas. In spite of being drafted later than Charlie Jones and Jermaine Burton, he’s consistently making an impact and at the very least could be the #3 behind Chase and Higgins. For Cleveland, I’ll go with Dawand Jones. Even though Jack Conklin is still on the roster and considered the starter, he’s been injury-prone. Before his own injury knocked him out, Jones was above average at RT and could be a different version of Jordan Mailata. For Dallas, I’ll go with Brock Hoffman. Even though he went undrafted and Cooper Beebe was considered the successor to Tyler Biadasz, Hoffman hasn’t been out of place and could be a solid Center between Smith and Martin. For Denver, I might go with rookie Troy Franklin. He had over 1,400 receiving yards last season at Oregon, and did it while having the body type of Todd Pinkston. He knows Bo Nix from Oregon, and after Courtland Sutton, there’s what’s left of Tim Patrick, the slight flashes of Marvin Mims and journeyman Josh Reynolds to compete with. For Detroit, I’ll go with Kerry Joseph. He’s looking more to be a playmaker with Brian Branch in a pseudo secondary role, and with new help in the secondary. For Green Bay, I’ll go with a Carrington Valentine. He led Green Bay in passes defended as a 7th round rookie. With Jaire Alexander having a down year and Eric Stokes being injury prone, Valentine could have a good year as a #2 corner. For Houston, I might go with Juice Scruggs. He seemed to fit well at Center or Guard, and could possibly overtake Kenyon Green at Guard opposite Shaq Mason. For Indianapolis, I might go with Bernhardt Raimann. He was a lot better in his second season and could be a top 10 LT in his 3rd year. For Jacksonville, I might go with Maason Smith. He clearly has the physical tools (6’6, 315), but he got healthier towards the end of last season at LSU and is both young enough and talented enough to be solid in a rotation or even start. For Kansas City, I’ll go with Leo Chenal. I may be too early (Nick Bolton is still on the roster), but Chenal proved to be enough with Tranquil and Bolton to allow the Chiefs not to resign Willie Gay Jr. For Las Vegas, I’ll go with Trevon Moehrig. He’s been solid, but nothing special. But having another year with Antonio Pierce could be where he breaks into elite territory. For the Chargers, I’ll go with Daiyan Henley. He’s getting the opportunity since both Kendricks and Murray went elsewhere. He was drafted for being a pass defender, so he could get the opportunity in this new defense. For Miami, I’ll go with Teair Tart. He was having a decent season with Tennessee until a clash with coaches and his contract forced him off the roster. He was very productive in limited snaps and could be better alongside Zach Seiler. For Minnesota, I’m stuck between Andrew Van Ginkel and Jalen Nailor. Nailor takes over for KJ Osborn and has talent, but needs to stay healthy. Van Ginkel has proven to be good as a pass rusher and in coverage, and if they play him next to Ivan Pace Jr, he could provide a pass rushing trio with Jonathan Greenard and rookie Dallas Turner. For New England, I’ll go with Marte Mapu. He could be moved to Linebacker instead of kept at safety, and with Tavai could be a good Inside Linebacker duo. For New Orleans, I’ll go with Kool-Aid McKinstry. If he plays well enough, New Orleans could consider trading Marshon Lattimore for not only cap savings but draft capital. For the Giants, I’ll go with Eric Gray. While the Runningback room is only slightly better than Dallas, Gray had a decent preseason and could easily be their #2 Runningback behind Devin Singletary, who has never carried a full season’s worth of toting the rock. For the Jets, I’ll go with Will McDonald 4th. He got limited snaps as a rookie to try and add more bulk to him. Now with Hassan Reddick holding out for a new contract, Carl Lawson released and Bryce Huff in Philadelphia, he’ll have much more opportunities to rack up pressures and sacks. For Philadelphia, I’ll go with Mekhi Becton. He’s looking like he could be their starting Right Guard over Tyler Steen, his conditioning is much better and he could finally stay healthy to recapture his rookie season success. For Pittsburgh, I’ll go with Beanie Bishop Jr. So far, he’s been making lots of plays and could at the very least be in their nickel and dime packages, maybe even starting opposite Minkah Fitzpatrick. For San Francisco, I’ll go with Maliek Collins. He’s always been got, but not elite. Next to Bosa and Hargrove, he could have his most sacks in his career. For Seattle, I’ll go with Julian Love. He ended up being the lone holdover at Safety, but has been productive the last few seasons. If the front 7 improves, he could easily have a 100 tackle, 6 turnovers season. For Tampa Bay, I’ll go with SirVocea Dennis. Even when both Devin White and KJ Britt we’re ahead of him on the depth chart, he was making plays. Now with just Britt to overtake, Dennis could be a solid duo with Lavonte David. For Tennessee, I’ll go with Peter Skoronski. While underwhelming for his rookie year, he now has more help on the O-Line with the additions of Cushenberry, Latham and OL coach Callahan. He could be considered in the elite category if he reaches his potential. For Washington, I’ll go with Frankie Luvu. He’s been good, but he could rise to elite if the front 4 gets back to decent after their fall-apart 2023 season.
im a dallas fan (i think we're missing the playoff this year) but im not high on rico. i personally never saw much burst in his game, and ironically no big play ability. id rather see deuce/peat. they both have that big play ability, i feel we're missing.
Thought for sure mecki Blackmon was gonna be the guy for vikings tragic he got hurt early in camp id say Jalen nailor he's looked elite in camp no matter who's been the qb
You’re not wrong about the Packers. They have so many different players that can breakout this upcoming season. Brooks, Wicks, Van Ness, Kraft, Valentine
Hypothetically, Do you think Serena and Venus Williams in their physical/athletic primes could have success playing high school football? Did they have the athleticism for it? Why or why not?
