There are so many great Nintendo consoles throughout the years, so what was your favorite and why??!?!??!?!

I love Nintendo

This is why I love the Switch: it's a mix of everything that has made Nintendo great. It has the portable aspects from the Game&Watch and Game Boy series. The motion controls from the Wii. The local multiplayer (the way it was presented on the Nintendo 64 with party games like Mario Kart and Goldeneye). The stylish look that makes the company. And probably they will add eventually some dual screen feature just like the DS and Wii U. I just love it, man.

The GameCube has so many amazing games & will always be my favourite along with the Nintendo Switch & Nintendo DS.

Nintendo will never die....

Its hard to believe that Nintendo has been making video game consoles for exactly 40 years now. They've been in the console market way longer than any other gaming company. Sony has been in the console market for 23 years, Microsoft for 16 years, Sega for 18 years (before they quit) and Atari for 21 years (also before they quit). Nintendo has definitely been through a lot over the years, and I hope they continue what they do best, which is making unique consoles with great games.

The nintendo Wii was the only console I ever camped out for, me and my little brother waited outside circuit city to purchase it. We weren't well off growing up, so I had to mow a lot of lawns, and my mother gave us the other half. It was such a nostalgic moment that I'll never forget.

Nintendo = My Childhood... Thanks Nintendo for all those beautiful moments playing on my NES when I was a child... and thanks again for the Switch, a console that I'm enjoying now as an adult!

The Nintendo Entertainment System is my favorite and I know the switch has a lot of great games but I don’t really catch my self playing other consoles then the NES this goes along with the other consoles it’s just the nes has a lot of great games and I always go back to them and some of the new games aren’t that memorable most of the time and usually I don’t play the games again after defeating them but games like Zelda, Mario, and other classic games I still play even after defeating it.

IGN, I have to give you props for this video. It's epic. Great topic and beautiful presentation. Only thing I would add is to highlight some more of the innovations some of these consoles brought or popularized that ended up as a standard, like shoulder buttons, thumb stick, triggers, rumble... etc. similar to what you did with the dpad.

It's interesting, how you can see what were interesting these days where the consoles were released. F.e. Touchscreen in the middle 2000' with the DS and the 3D-Effect in the early 2010' with the 3DS!

Nintendo will always be a part of my life...

I grew up on the Wii, DS and 3DS. The Wii is on 1st place. Had amazing and fun games like Wii Party and Wii Sports Resort. 3DS on second with Super Mario 3D Land and Pokemon Sun. On the DS I had Super Mario and Mario Kart DS.

This video made Me cry I used to play on the wii almost every day with my dad and little sister when i was younger and when i became 8 i got my first ever 3ds with nintendo dogs + cats (still have that game somewhere in my bedroom) and now i own a 3ds XL the best console i have ever had i love it way to much 💕💓

I am going emotional when i watch this. I was a small kid when i touch my first Game Boy, i really dont understand at this time, that gaming will change my life and future. Now more than 25 years later i still play Nintendo Games (on Switch), also i go in Virtual Worlds with my Oculus Quest. I have see so much, thanks Nintendo for this!

I still have the Wii and its full of amazing memories from when I was like 4 and 5, and it still works great. I really reccomend it, although its old. I also had the wii-U but about a year after I got it it overheated or something and stopped working. It got a lotta hate, and im not quite sure why, like yes it did eventually stop working but the time I spent playing it with my siblings was amazing

I remember begging my parents day after day for a Nintendo Wii after playing it at my cousins house. I waited for months until Christmas, and woke up eagerly on Christmas Day. My dad was waiting for me, so I tore open the biggest package that was for me. I screamed. It was a Nintendo Wii!! I’m still playing it till this day. Thank you Nintendo for my childhood
