One big point you’re missing on that DSI- having you’re own camera and being able to edit and draw on the pictures yourself and then make them a screensaver or send it to your friends was NEXT LEVEL when it first dropped

It’s kinda funny how everyone’s first DS breaks really quickly but the second one lasts forever. I got a DS lite for Christmas back in 2009, but it bricked a few days later. I got a DSi shortly after, and it’s lasted to this day with no issues whatsoever.

Same, I had my first one for around a year and I dropped it and it broke in half. The second one I have is 12 years old and it works every bit as well today as it did 12 years ago. It's in perfect condition, aside from a small fracture in the hinge.

Same dude. I had a Ds Lite when I was pretty much a baby, I would play on it with my sister and mom, but later it broke and I had to throw it away. Later on 2011 I got a 3DS, which I still have to this day and frequently play on when I feel like having fun

I got my original 3ds in 2014, lasted until 2015, and got a new one in 2016 and its still going strong! (besides a faulty r button which i had to fix by taking it apart and cleaning it)

The funny thing is, back when it came out, people thought the DS looked futuristic. I was only about six or seven, but one kid in my class got one and I remember everyone was very impressed with the design. It’s funny that now, it looks super dated, when at the time everyone thought it was not just modern, but something out of the future!

Never had one as a child. Years ago they were selling 2ds for like $60 with a Mario game. I should have jumped on it. I didn't know they would become more expensive. I'm still waiting to find a good deal on one.

On my 13th birthday a man listed a 3ds for like $70 and when we met up with him to buy it he told my mom it's 150 now, She said she would get me it if I really wanted it but I had a computer and a mobile at the time so I said to return it to the guy, Some people just don't care 🤷‍♂️

At this point they seem to just be climbing but who knows. Having dual screen hardware is just annoying cos it's hard to emulate that as well as the touch screen which keeps the hardware prices high even in the used market

My first 3DS was the original 2DS and for the time I absolutely loved it! It's much more comfortable than the other 3DS systems due to being one whole shell instead of half the system holding all the controls. I put so many hours into it and I could never hate it even with the bad screen. But now I have a NEW 2DS XL & I love it so much! Better performance but not as comfortable. I had to buy a grip for it to play comfortably.

Aesthetically I'd say the 3DS has the best design, especially the shiny aqua blue. Feature-wise and overall, I'd say the New 3DS is the best one because of the better 3D tracking, hardware and extra buttons.

What if Nintendo combined all of the features from the DS-NN2DSXL and made an ultimate DS. One that had all the benefits and uniqueness from each counsel combined into one. Maybe even a little bigger than the XLs but with the original stylus (a lot of ppl hate the smaller 2ds stylus) with streetpass, pictochat, camera, etc. That would be epic 😎

I love the look, feel & buttons of the DSi but it’s the odd duck as it’s the first with the online digital store which was pretty cool at the time but they eliminated the GBA ability. The lite is fondly remembered but it’s worth noting the original white ones have an issue with the hinge would crack even when gently used, like one day you would see a crack. The 3D on the 3DS even tho gimmicky at times is such a wonderful experience add to the fact that the eShop is incredible. The original 2DS in my opinion is the most comfortable to play on and I use it the most. The updates 2DS has a built in “non-user replaceable battery”, Nintendo doesn’t even sell a replacement battery! But it’s the NEW 3DS XL is my favorite regardless of it being too large and uncomfortable to play on.

I know that this video was a year ago but I still wanted to comment. I currently have a ds, 3ds, 2ds, n3dsxl, and a n2dsxl. (I also own a switch and switch lite. I have a collecting problem 🙃) I play the n3dsxl almost every day however I don't know why since the n2dsxl is so much more comfortable. They are both my favorite systems to this day 💗. I really enjoyed your comparison video. It was spot on!

Yea and the only way to play gameboy games is to mod it. If it did have a slot it would’ve been way better. I’m trying to look for a DSi XL used since the last time I had a ds was the dsi lite when I was 8, which was nearly 15 years ago.

I found my Nintendo DS Lite but the top was defected since I accidentally slept on it when I was younger. I bought a Nintendo 3DS XL second hand and I definitely find it more comfortable to hold and love the bigger screen.

How was the 2ds the most uncomfortable? Don't u know how to hold it? The 2ds is the easiest jump into and play and it's very comfortable after hours of play, yes it's a compromise but for the price, usually $80 you get a lot and if u get the chance to homebrew it, it's a beast. I respect your opinion but you should give it a chance.

I actually liked the New Nintendo 3DS Xl from 2015. Mine is a Super Mario 3D land edition which was preloaded. I liked the New…versions better cause they actually came preloaded with a game and my sister liked them cause she realized first day with hers and mine actually that you could switch out the cover pieces

@@gferrol118 No it doesnt, its more like a couple of hours which is the same strain you'd get staring at any screen that close. With the new 3DS the 3DS works at any angle. Also, Im not trying to sound like a fanboy or anything lol, I just really like the 3D effect, it amazed me as a kid when I first saw it in a shop and no other console has ever done it.

Someone with big hands here: the 2DS has my favorite form factor. It all depends on how big your hands are. I tried playing Monster Hunter on a 3DS clam-shell: hated it, super uncomfortable, heavy, and scrunched. The 2DS, while I didn't originally like how it looked, fixed the issue. It also doesn't feel cheaply made to me, but I liked how inexpensive it was at the time, coming with OOT game.

The New 3DS (XL) or 2DS XL are better than the 3DS thanks to better battery life. The N3DS also has much more usable 3D than the 3DS. And they should have a bit less slowdown than a 3DS.

I remember wanting to buy a gameboy advanced sp back when i was a kid at a store but my dad can't afford it instead he bought me a tetris gamebox 😂 which almost copy the design of the gameboy. Thinkin about it now I really appreciate how my dad tried to find ways to make me happy even tho we were poor at the time. Although I missed what all the children during my age was playing (I was really jealous back then) several years later my dad actually been saving some money to buy me a handheld console which is the psp. My point is appreciate your parents, they will always try to make us happy. Now I have my own money and just bought the nintendo ds lite to treat my inner child 😂

bought a dsi LL new off amazon in 2017. Japan is funny how they carry systems on--switch was already out then--but new dsi were a steal. I remember seeing new super famicoms on amazon as late as 2008. The dsi did loose the the gameboy support but the sd card is proving really useful these days because of the rom scene and things like twilight menu.

Idk if you purchased one of the models yet but I personally find the 2ds xl much more comfortable and playable since it’s lighter and a little more rounded than the new 3ds xl, also idk if it was only my model but my new 3ds xl had terrible squishy face buttons which made the clicky buttons on my 2ds xl much better to use.

My girl just gave me her moms friends old ds lite. It’s the Zelda triforce one and I’m soooo hyped. It’s so nostalgic throwing in phantom hourglass and playing it. I’m also getting back into Pokémon, and I’m so mad I sold my 2ds pokeball edition. My boy sold me his smash bros edition 3ds and it’s so dope. He also threw me Pokémon white, alpha sapphire and some classics as well

My 2ds is as my grandmas and she will send it to deliver to me after such a long time….i had that sds since i was 5 YEARS OLD such good memories and i still have the pictures that i will see again once it arrives to me on friday i will look back at all of those pictrues i took when i was young and play all the 4 games i used to play SUCH GOOD MEMORIES. Looks like your new 3ds has the TN upper diaplay with the nicer IPS for the touchscreen. While your new 3DS xl has the dual IPS...lucky. My new 3ds xl seems to have the IPS upper if any. Upper definitely looks better than lower anyhow.

The new 2dsxl will play all ds games and all 3ds games, including the games that require a faster processor. It doesn't have a slot for physical Gameboy games but many gb games are available from the eshop. If you want to go that route, though, do it soon before they close the eshop down

tbh my sisters old Nintendo DS Lite Handheld battery got drowned and mine is hanging off a twig but the prices are annoying for another battery. Can't remember the models but my father owns some pretty old first version non ds Gameboys where so nice until the batteries exploded, kinda sucks they all got ruined even one of the first few color Gameboys. Always will be weird thinking about how my Nintendo DS Lite had small games and no camera probably before the next design.

I had the ds,ds light and then dsi. Skipped the 3ds. It took me years to realize but my dad took me to the same GameStop in the same mall to get all 3. Maybe he wasn't such a meanie after all lol The hinge on my og ds gave out one day and I cried

How’s it going bro! Can you please reach out and help we with an issue man. I can’t connect my PS4 controller to my PC. I strictly play Modern Warfare. I would use Input Mapper and never had an issue. But they did an update and now I’m stuck without any way of connecting my controller. DS4 is super confusing and I’ve tried it so many times. Nothing seems to work.

Are you trying to connect it wired or wirelessly? You may need to reset your controller and try reconnecting it to your PC again.

@@TechSummitTV I always play wireless. I’ve never had an issue up until they updated InputMapper. Which is what I used to connect my PS4 controller. I tried DS4 but it’s complicated. I’m not sure what to do anymore

@@TechSummitTV I’m just going to buy a Scuf Controller & call it a day. Simply so that i can just plug it in and play. I don’t want to have to go through these programs and go through my settings just to connect my regular PS4 controller. Hopefully with a Scuf. It’s be a plug and play kind of thing.

With input mapper I just plug in the ps4 usb cable into my laptop and connect it that way. Wireless never worked for me.

I’m gonna get the DSi XL. Most games I’m gonna play are for DS because I already have a Gameboy Advance SP, but even then if I didn’t have it, you could always mod the DSi to play both.
