i think that wallhop obbys only really work if they give you the comma and period buttons with the set rotate function so it feels less luck based and more timing based
My method has always been using shift lock for the flick. It's very consistent unless you have to go down a wall with wallhop where it can be tougher to do

As a Flood Escape 2 player myself who's trying to complete Active Volcanic Mines [Crazy] and Rustic Jungle [Crazy+], a "Rush Obby" is a good way of naming FE2. Another instance of a "Rush Obby" is Liquid Breakout, made by LuxTypes [Formerly known as EliteLAQ.]
Tell me what you would think of a precision based obby. These are basically like tech obbies but they require precise timed jumps, and each part would be for a different mechanics like different glitches like clip glitches and precise lag high jumps as well as jumps with 0.25 stud blocks. And yes, they are possible. Though I bet you would possibly mix a tech and jank obby. This would be for more precision. As well as coyote jumps being a thing where you have to jump at a specific frame perfect timings with kill bricks above the end part where you land to the point that the player hitbox doesn't hit the kill brick unless they are doing a different timing. Theres also kill brick wallwraps which you could do but it would have to be at a specific height for the wallwraps and they would be small wall wraps so you would have to do them at a specific distance.
I was thinking that you would have the “Troll obby” section. Like the map “I wanna test the game”. I don’t know if it’s qualified to be an obby style, since i don’t really see much of it. But in my opinion, it is a special type of obby. And i would probably consider it to be one of the obby style.
They’re just low effort and just test your consistency. Actual hard wallhop obbies are impossible and the easier ones are usually just big structures with wallhop wraps, long jumps, and stick outs; but it’s not these jumps that make you fall it’s just having to wallhop that you’ll eventually mess up

@@thatpotatotho6792 what bro the only good wallhop obby I have ever seen is impossible I forgot what it’s called but it’s still not fun to play. Also what I meant by consistency is the actual wallhopping and not the difficulty of the jumps; for example most fails come from missing the timing of a flick than an actually hard jump. They’re also really limited to only long jumps, low roofs, wall walks, wraps and making them thinner which gets very repetitive. Wallhop obbies can be fun but because they’re the easy ones like from random difficulty charts and games designed only about wallhopping, but nobody actually grinds a difficult wallhopping obby cause of how boring and unfun that would be. I know they’re not all low effort but they’re just oversaturated by the amount of difficulty charts and obbies where it’s basically just a large part in the middle and you wallhop around towards the top
@@purple_baconhair8438 Theres literally levels in difficulty charts and wallhop obbies that are made to test your wall hopping skill. Old and new games. Even revamped games. The mechanic is so good that it will be relevant until time memorium.

Wallhops are still a fun genre of obby to play and I don't agree with the guy in the video calling them inconsistent, but I just don't think there are many good obbies made with them compared to the plethora of well made obbies that don't involve wallhops. They're also pretty frowned upon when used in towers in JToH or obbies when a far better jump could've been created since wallhopps are known to be artificial gameplay

Just beat a challenging obby, it is short but it’s a sort of rush obby it’s in a “find the __” game if your wondering it’s the molten heart obby in “find the trollfaces” :)

many people made an obbies with all these styles combined, and of course it's from a single game where creativity flows... You guessed it, it's Flood Escape 2 COMMUNITY MAPS. Where else could you get these maps from without the RUSH category? look at the extremes, since some of them include various techs and wallhops just to finish a single part of the map.
Stupid obbies: These obbies are stupid and made for kids, obbies like this are named things like "EASY RAINBOW POPPY PLAYTIME SKIBIDI OBBY" Stupid obbies are very colourful and contain floating characters from well known kids content floating around. they also contain alot of gamepasses, half of these are scams but others give iconic roblox tools such as magic carpet. At the end of a stupid obby there are usually tools like trails and bikes and a badge as an award. Stupid obbies are very easy so they don't contain things like wraps. only little kids play stupid obbies.
A better term is cashgrab obbies: Obbies that are literal fucking garbage, with janky hitboxes and excessive gamepasses. Most people that play this are either 5 year olds that can't do a 1 stud wraparound, or people that are bored asf.
Two questions, could a form of rush obby be a no stop obby? Like you can't stop moving your character or you die. Another question, what category would be obbies where you push the ball through the obby or some kind of obstacle?
A no-stop obby on a rush obby is possible, albeit it can't be implemented normally as some players may want to play the obbies for fun, it can be a separate gamemode that can be exclusive if you really want to make it happen For me, I'll personally call it "Obstacle Companion Obby" as sometimes, the thing you need to carry can be a problem like it can roll and pulls you to the void, hence "Obstacle" and it can be helpful for you like using the heavy box as a stool to reach higher and you have to carry it with you to win, hence "Companion" so yeah, hope that solves your question
My least favourite one is probably very close proximity as mobile player as u can’t zoom out and see anything ruining ur view having to go first person and the worst is roof touching ledge grabs and normal jump roof touching close proximity
Dude as soon as i see the Rush obbies cagetory,i knew that FE2 would be in this video dang i havent played that game since 4 years ago now,i was struggled beating Dark-sci facility and blue moon and got helped by my friends afterward(Fun fact:It's my first game i've played on Roblox even though idk why i chose that game to be my first experience in this platform)
Tye obbies which are in a story line or have a story with it like stereotype obby I think its called this right? And some other games like story games have obby and obby which has npcs to tell a story. Storyline obby I would call it.
Escape obbies are mostly ass and the hitboxes are janky so it doesn't deserve a category. Fun obbies are more of an opinion than category. I think a fun obby is something at your own level and has straightforward but challenging gameplay as well
