Welcome back...before you leave again! Still, was an awesome and fun video. I'll admit I love Jabu Jabu's Belly, but I'll admit a lot of that IS for the aesthetics and concepts more than the actual dungeon itself, which you commented on. Overall, I think this was a plenty fair list.
Water temple is the only temple as an adult that can still stump me if i dont complete its order of operations and as such has aged well for me. With 3ds and ship of harkinian the design issues with iron boots dont really bother me.
It’s in my top 2 or 3. The design of the temple itself is a masterclass in creating a complex architectural puzzle. And the theming and ambience is just perfect for the water theme.
I love the "pre-clicking the video phase" of these rankings almost as much as I love the vids themselves, because I get to hypothesize which end of the Water Temple spectrum the presenter falls under 😂 I myself am a Water Temple Andy, and detest the Shadow Temple. It's always cool to see the nuance in everyone's in-between picks
It's really interesting to see how you ordered them - it's not even close to how I'd rank them! But I'm glad we can agree that the Ice Cavern is rock-bottom, haha. It's an exercise in tedium. Looking forward to the new channel.
So going to give a mind blowing hint with ice arrows, they can freeze blade traps, which if you get the ice arrows early can make final uphill blade trap hall at end of water temple.
There are three dungeons from Ocarina of Time that I would consider top 10 dungeons of all time and it’s not just because of the dungeons themselves but the lore, history, bosses, music, puzzles, etc… Forest Temple Spirit Temple Shadow Temple Forest Temple is the most iconic in the whole series because it’s considered the staple of 3D Zelda dungeons and the music fits the atmosphere perfectly. The boss is great and it’s the first dungeon as an adult which gives it a much different vibe compared to earlier dungeons. Spirit Temple is the most memorable because of how you can use the time travel mechanics and the theme also fits with the atmosphere perfectly. Shadow Temple has the most lore and is by far the most mysterious and intriguing temple considering it’s location and history. Bongo Bongo is a great boss and the eye of truth is one of the best items of all time.
@@miki49 It’s both atmospheric and is one of the most elaborately constructed full-scale puzzles in the Zelda series. That music is gorgeous. Plus the room with the Shadow Link fight is just perfect.
Well...we agree on the bottom and top of the list lol. I find both fire dungeons to be dreadfully boring so the further the list went on and they weren't named the more confused I became 😅
