It's actually really easy to beat with the right technique. PaRappa The Rapper 1's input system is kind of flawed. To press buttons perfectly, you have to press them one beat later than they appear.

It took me until this video to realize that Sista Moosesha's cool mode failure message is a reference to Instructor Mooselini's, with them both parachuting in from above and saying "I knew you were gonna screw up-" I like how the game links them both together with that and the callback to "when I say boom boom boom you say bam bam bam" considering they're sisters.
