Heretics will always try to define the words again to give them an opposite meaning. Faith is turned into "faithfulness", works is replaced with the demand of obedience etc. The work of atonement was finished on the cross, Christ's blood is the sufficient propitiation for all sin, and Christ's righteousness is enough to please God, and his Holy Spirit is the seal of our inheritance. All we need is to admit that we are sinners in need of Christ and trust in this promise!

I found this lesson invigorating and filled with hope and peace by salvation. I still struggle with repentance though. Whenever I do something wrong, I feel lead to repent. I repent for all of the things that I have done wrong and then I ask God to forgive me for the sins I don't even know about.....the ones that I did that I should not have done and for not doing what I should have done. I don't know if it is how I was raised or if it is just the right thing to do. I don't think that it has anything to do with my salvation....but I feel lead to repentance always. God love us all. :-)
I've mentioned this before it's very tough to kill the flesh everyday it's super tough but I try to do it. It's like one smart guy said go fishing draw a picture read the good book in other words get your mind off of the sin in the world. Good teaching brother Gene God bless you all
Can't they work but not for themselves(to get saved, or stay saved) but just to please God? Jesus did everything for salvation, let Him take care of that, mind your business.
