Welcome to PAYDAY 2 where drinking alcohol increases your health, reviving teammates by swearing, wearing sunglasses on a sunny day means death and your hard earned money is gone because offshore payday. 10/10
overkill Performance: Crook is Decent for A Sudo jack of All trades build Allowing Dodge without sacrificing Too much Durability Yakuza: I AM FUCKEN SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEDD Biker: Kinda Sucks but has potential is buggy Hitman: who uses this? Tag team: Fuck the characters this is with Gambler: yeah you’re a Thing Infiltrator: havin 40% Damage reduction when Blasting 12 gauge is fun Maniac: Yes This is FUCKEN FUN on OK Sociopath: yeah Melee Meta Crew Chief: a Good old college try at Jack of all trades but none of it is for ya Ex President: this is Neat pretty Tanky Burglar: Sneak meta Armorer: Good old MAKIN ya Tungsten Grinder: Dodge And Health being given to ya For murder Rouge: Simply put Dodge Muscle: FUCKEN TANK Sicario: Armor By Dodge Hacker: Hey That Damn SWAT VAN it’s now our FUCKEN ally Anarchist: Grinder for Armor Kingpin: Yeah have fun using this as it’s DLC is no longer available Stoic: *SIPS BEER IN NAME OF FUCK THE FBI*
I kinda feel like trying some diffent perks on my drill repair build afther watching this maybe hacker so i can repair in peace or sicario but i dont realy have much luck with that one most of time My most used perk decks are normaly: kingpin, stoic and muscle because i too like panic If i run dodge i run burglar on loud its so underated and if you have some jokers and crouch alot your almost inviable i run it with a crit repeater
Love the video! And also thank you for introducing me to hacker, it is now my favourite deck to play with. Was so bored of using stoic 24/7 Also, how about ranking throwables? :)
Maniac really needs top get a buff Making your Teamkates able to collect sracks as well would solve so much for this Peek deck it doesnt Tell you in the description but there is actually a delay before you get the damage Absorption from your stacks So you are not Just Entering the heist without a perk deck you also continue to Not have any perk deck benefits Up to two sec after hitting an enemie and after two more sec your stacks are Cut in half already And you have to consider that maniac is one of the only perc Decks that dont Grant you ANY Others benefits to Stats beside its own mechanic Making Others Party members able to collect Stacks for you would be the only way you dont immediately die when Peeking a Corner on DS
Honestly Kingpin and Sicario carried me through my journey to my one down mask, I always thought Sicario sounded good but at lower difficulties when I was just starting dodge was always more underwhelming. As soon as I got to DSOD I fell in love with Sicario running Judge and M1 Garand. Stoic got me through several too but I found that alone Kingpin was better for objective rushing with LMG's
Worst-to-Best soundtracks ;) Potential buff to Gambler: each ammo box picked up grants 5 dodge. Each shot you successfully dodge will reduce your dodge by 5.
I think crook actually promotes two playstyles. 1. slightly tankier dodge 2. super fast armor build. This is mainly because it applies to ALL ballistic vests. This in turn makes the heavy ballistics vest have more dodge than the default suit, more armor than the combat tactical vest, and 3 less speed than a normal suit. mixed in with the speed perks (especially the bad carrying one) you will be zooming around super fast.
Yeah, HBV Crook is actually just as durable armor-wise as Armorer on DS with the right Skills, it's just that most people see the Dodge bonuses and think "LBV Dodge"
I started a new game on playstation with my friend recently and I'm absolutely loving stoic. I ran an akimbo build on my Xbox save and still do but I'm going to switch it over to stoic when I can because it's so fun and easy
I agree with the way you described stoic 100% I was arguing with someone that thought grinder took more skill to use than stoic, and stoic is just overpowered. I'll only say stoic is powerful with hostage taker or other regen, and the player using it is skilled with the perk deck. Where as grinder seems like something you could train a monkey, shoot enemies and gain health. Either way, I love both perk decks but prefer stoic to grinder.
I honestly only used sicario for the whole Sangres loadout but DAMN it has got me out of sticky situations A LOT. Super reliable and I don’t think I’m switching anytime soon.
I feel like the grinder perk deck doesn’t get enough attention because on Mayham, and below. It’s one of the best and easiest perk decks to use, especially for beginners, because unlike anarchist or stoic, which are some of the best for loud heist those ones take a lot more studying and learning how they work compared to the grinder per deck which is basically just you shoot somebody you get health back but I feel like it’s just a little underrated
I always played with ex-president, and i still think it's almost meta for dodge build for me. Because it's heals a lot health while your teammates or you shooting at enemies, and recover armor faster like anarchist + more hp and dodge
i used to run ex-presidents but i find the tag team is pretty good when i get it at the right time. I might switch over to Stoic though that looks like fun
Grinder is def. my favourite, it has that balance between being viable and really fun, I really like using Infiltrator on lower difficulties, and my least favourite is probably Yakuza.
Before i get to watch this video, ima say, Grinder is the absolute best perk deck because it makes it so much easier to a point where it kinda feels like cheating. I barely go down ever, and never need to use medic bags. That being said, i mostly play on Overkill.
I think sicario is better than hacker but I agree with anarchist and stoic being in the top. I don't have any experience with kingpin to make any claims. I typically stick to sicario however, it fills my needs and allows me to save points where someone would spend on inspire.
I don't get why people don't think Crook is as good as Rogue. They give the same dodge chance, but Rogue makes you less likely to be targeted, and swap weapons faster, meanwhile Crook gives 55% more armor and slightly faster armor regen. I think they're equal because of this.
Rogue is more dodge mate, max 60 dodge, crook is 45. The issue with crook on ds difficulty is that the extra armor doesn’t allow an extra hit so your armor is still just a one hit, same as the suit. So why would I take crook? Less dodge and armor is the same as a suit
First two days into payday and i get a tip saying that i should use anarchist because at the time i was using a 3 cards full stoic and they say its bad
There's a reason why they supply soldiers with opioids and amphetamines IRL. Also, there's a ton of crossover between the three types of people you listed. 0/10 joke doesn't work. :^)
I fell in love with Anarchist. It's a perk deck that fit my playstyle for Loud, rocking Shotgun and Berserker/Frenzy combos all day. I love that it provides variety in builds too. And using it on higher difficulties makes me feel like a knock off Rambo from India. Until a Cloaker, Bulldozer or Sniper reminds me that I am American with their one shots. I need a medi- BULLSEYE
Here's an idea: Jokers ranked worst to best, in terms of kind of enemy that is converted, like Shotgun Tan and Assault Rifle Tan. Or just cops in general from docile to run ruiner.
I love how the Kingpin's perk deck skills are named after quotes from Tony Montana and how Tony says multiple iconic quotes when you're playing as/with him. This makes it the number one perk deck in my heart.
@@bonnieshenton9426 that’s kind of the point... if you’re gonna take damage, might as well take healing from it, like, that’s just kinda how it works and besides, that’s how quite a few of the perks work
Do you guys know whats the name of that stealth song that its mostly a bass that goes Da da dann, da da daaaaan dan, da da dann, dada pss *drums come in*
Got the game for free years ago but couldn't play it Managed to just a few weeks ago cause new laptop and storage Bought the ultimate edition to pay homage to Overkill Didn't know jackshit Saw the Kingpin perk deck Liked it Picked it. Now I'm running around with a Dragon Fire Drum Mag Stakeout and swinging around a circular saw. No I do not know what I am doing.
Normaly i dont watch these best ranked videos but im deeply invested into perks and making non viable weapons viable. So you peaked my intressed with this upload my friend
For literally the longest time I ran Crew Chief because I was new to the game and only recently started playin Rouge as your Dodge build video popped up in my recommended and have loved it since
I always used grinder when I started to play the game and playing on Overkill. Now I’m playing on death wish with stoic and with a little more practice I’ll be able to play DS and soon OD
Even though Sociopath is low on the list, I just love it so much. and especially with jacket's voice lines I feel like I'm playing Krieg from Borderlands 2 again. Melee has always been the most visceral and satisfying for me.
I have a Sociopath build and it works best with my playstyle of prioritizing specials and thinning the herd of minor enemies. I use my guns to boost my melee damage and recover armor and I use melee to take down high risk specials like killdozers and heal to lift pressure on the team, especially for my dodge build teammates. And if anyone asks, Mario's psa:melee got me into building Sociopath.
I recently started playing payday2 again and just got to infamy 1. And now I'm so interested in different builds, so this video will give me a better understanding of what's good. Thanks mate
Just like to say through all the years I’ve played payday I watched your vids and I respect your craft if they make a payday3 your deserve your own personal character payday legend
@@fleyyn Just understand that overkill somehow doesn't know how to develop on consoles. I mean the companies aren't helping overkill for some shit. It's the console companies fault at the end.
The health regen is pretty low, but I like how missing health or armour makes you get back more of the other one. I think the real perk of it is the armour regen, but you don’t have control over when it comes back, so it’s a gamble. Works with sentries though
I'll tell you one thing. Your old dancing mod got flagged me as a cheater... I removed it from the game files and voilla I'm not a cheater anymore. Well, payday 2 in 2020 is still good
Yakuza's speed, with the skill that increases speed with lower health, is stupid high even with the Combined TV. Better than you made it out to be. Personally, I'd say the only truly "bad" one is Crook.
Crook is actually really good, you just need to treat it as a Tank Deck with some Dodge as gravy instead of a pure Dodge Deck. With HBV and the right Skills, Crook can actually get 2 hits on your armor just like ICTV Armorer, trading the 2 sec invulnerability when your armor breaks for speed and some Dodge (and maybe crits if you're willing to invest the points). Yakuza's speed is nice, but is much better suited for Stealth in my opinion.
My most favorite was grinder in the most op version xd First was muscle, when had only death wish as the hardest difficulty this perk gived me a lot of advantage because a lot of players saw me like "uhhh you already losed hp..." but after 5 seconds they always liked to met their new best friend mr Clouker. Second was broken grinder When grinder doesn't heal anymore i changed perk to anarchist but this perk deck make me later in to potato because i couln't play without it because it was like we know good... After few months i started using gambler because playing anarchist was a little bit to boring and i was kinda a potato AND i come back after some time because update with safes kinda broke my game on my potato old ass fuck pc but i have actually something better... I spend a lot of time with this perk, kinda another of my favorites. Another time i get bored so... New main perk... It was hitman but with akimbo grims like ez mode on mayhem it was Later some ex-president but i don't like it that much Armorer, used by me like 3 times "big meme armor for me" Rogue was after another... Not my favorite only good thing was for me changing weapons but meh. I started using some others perks but not too much love with them maybe some more with sicario because it is very funny perk, and some with crook on mayhem but others meh... Btw i love watching your build ;)
thanks to your livestream back then when you play death sentence using kingpin, you inspired me to make my own kingpin build for death sentence one down, it works very nicely. I still love my rogue build, made me a winner. And i love using grinder too.
Me: Perks ranked based on Loud Tactic viability and on the highest difficulty? Guess my boy Burglar is about to be the lowest on the list. b33croft: *Burglar is ranked #10 out of 21* Me: *surprised pikachu* wtf Burglar has dodge, I should read more
Hitman is a feel good perk deck in my opinion. Crew Chief is a favourite of mine because of how cool it is; buffing Stamina is a nice change of pace. I don't do DSOD which is probably what shapes my opinion
Stoic is awesome, also used Sicario recently and it was quite refreshing. Ex President was extremely difficult for me on higher difficulties starting with Chaos. I played the Goat simulator heist on Chaos and beat it after nearly 3 hours of suffering. Crew boss did not really do anything interesting, although I am not so experienced with the right perk setups yet.
