Today I want to go over every possible way to die in Bonelab. The amount of possible deaths may surprise you. Subscribe for new vr videos every Wednesday: / @very_real
counting each npc as its own death in my opinion isn't the right way of thinking about it each death should be counted from a different mechanic like for example burning to death is different from hanging but being slapped by a nullbody or a skeleton is still an npc killing you being shot by omni projectors may be a bit more tricky since they do technically shoot you but since using bullets to kill oneself is the same anyways weather you do it by your own hands or allow the npc to do it I feel like it would be fair to cut them out as well as for the fire projectile from the cultist there isn't really a way of the game showing that it's physically burning you and since it is a projectile I suppose that is different enough from sitting in the hot pit in the descent level so at least that npc counts but it means all the other fire projectile based npcs don't count as for the metal skeletons they also slap no matter if they're full of calcium or metal but hey all of that is completely subjective so anyone could count any death in a certain way falling to death between the void or the spikes or the sprint bridge level to someone may be different deaths but to someone else it may be the same since the game is just killing you by you just passing a certain threshold of space so yeah you basically wasted... 1 minute of your life reading this meaningless comment that went nowhere happy reading oh wait actually since you can take the power puncher in the ascent level you could punch yourself to death and since it has a special mechanic of also sending you flying I'll count it as a different death and since you counted the deaths between lava and acid that to me implies different colors or designs may count as a different death which in that case could mean that blue projectile from the exit zombie could count as a different death from the fire projectile but the slapping kill won't count since it was already counted by the first skeleton in the game and that also means corrupted null won't count anymore since their projectile is the same color/design to that of the zombie however since the null agent has a different colored projectile from those two even if it looks the exact same I'll count it as a different death since you count each design or physical look of death as a different death but hey bullets are bullets, falling is falling, projectiles are projectiles, slapping is slapping and a level resent is a level reset again I apologize if it was too long for basically a point that I could've made in fewer sentences but I couldn't help myself but get into detail even if it basically emphasizes the exact same thing
So instead of letting it be like all other levels, they went out of their way to make it impossible to die, even when spawning enemies? Why go through all that extra work for nothing?
Why do you think I'm mad? I could care less. I'm just confused about why unnecessary work would go into the game. Logically you wouldn't want to make exceptions to 1 area of the game that you can't die in without trying anyway
It would be fun to return to it, but that's really only possible if there's a big enough update. I haven't really found another vr title to try mythbusting in, but I want to
