This is REALLY awesome. Thank you SO much! This gave us the info and the links we needed. We would have really struggled otherwise to find these emulators elsewhere and maybe only a few or even one at a time. Tech James saved us time and LOADS of stress-now we've added our own ROMS and we are playing our PSP instead of trying to make it work right. YOU ROCK! SUPERSCRIBED AND SHARED!
Dude you made my life sooo much easier I just got a psp couple of weeks ago and wanting to put some emulators on it this really has me set for everything I would ever need
Thank you James I struggled to get gpsp to work with the older videos. Happy to say it works. Just had to change the language from Spanish to English (which is the bottom option in settings). But thanks to modern technology (AI camera) I could figure out what to do. Although with Spanish I could make out some words. 🤔 And if you keep looking you will probably find it.
hey brother just saw this video so it solved my requsting for permission problems. just lettin everyone know this shit still works. i am currently finishing up my new psp now :) love yall stay golden and james ur the man
Wow. This is THE BEST retro guide channel out there. Not only you included some emulators, you encluded it ALL YOU NEED. PokeMini? YEAH. Atari 2600? IMAGINE NOT. Vecterex?? Yeah? Atari 5200? Weird flex but okay. You just make things really simple and you can just skip the intro and just get straight to the point. The intro: it's what an intro should be. This is awesome.
Thank you so much for putting this somewhere easy to find. My memory card just died in my psp 1000 and I couldn't find my backup of the emulators anywhere.
Tech James you are the best MÄÄÄÄÄN !!! Thang you very much! You save my time so much. I like mod stuff so much but my wife not ! :) Now she have no problem with the stuff i make on my laptop. Thank you ! ✌from Germany , Peace !
After watching countless videos from this channel about PSP games I have finally subscribed. Wonderful channel and awesome guy! Thank you for helping me with all of my PSP needs:) -Royal
Can't get enough. Vids like yours are the reason I decided to try this RU-vid thing. I probably would never have started my channel if we didn't see yours first. -Postposterous
If I copy over an updated version of what I have, will that effect any saved game data I have? LOVE anything PSP on your channel. Thanks for the time you put in your channel, I appreciate it!
absolutely, thank you for this. curious though, i didn't see mame in here. a reason it couldn't be included? is there an emulator in here that fills that gap?
This is such a great channel, thanks so much for all the help you have given to a 50+ year old trying to get his old PSP to play with some new games! Is there any chance I could ask you for this emulator list, but with the actual console it's emulating written next to it, so that I can put the roms into the right files etc? thanks again for the ace content.
Awesome Tech James! I have a a PSP 1000 & im still running the original 1.50 firmware. Will these emulators work under 1.50 or do I need to upgrade to the latest firmware? I am out of the loop on the PSP hacking but I am running a couple of emulators right now but I want to run a cleaner screen cause I have corrupt file icons in between each emulator icon. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your efford. Can you please put a list into the comments which emulator is for which console please?! They've all very confusing names. Thank you and merry xmas. :)

Help, when I run a game in my PSP it always takes a while in the game's loading screen, then just turns the PSP off. I already have the cfw and everything but some of the games is still corrupted even though I placed it in the correct folder. HELP PLS!!
Lmao the haters crack me up, they clearly have no idea how much knowledge Tech James has shared with the soft mod/emulation community. Another great video! Keep it up James!
@@rinzler2012 but is that the same as CFW because people keep recommending me that one aswell :S And people have also been saying I should update higher than 6.0... Without bothering to tell me why :S BWWAH IM SO CONFUSED!!
It's crazy how many things the PSP will actually run I was hoping one day they would make a Nokia n-gage emulator for it but no one's made that for anything not even the new pocketGO 2 or rg350 Here's a list of what can be run on a PSP there's probably more than I can remember but it all can be looked up online Consoles In no particular order Thompson mo5 Thompson mo7 ZX Spectrum MSX Commodore 64 Amstrad CPC Cps1, cps2, Neo Geo mvs Neo Geo CD Intellivision ColecoVision Vectrex Fairchild f Odyssey Pc-98 TurboGrafx PC engine Plus turbografx & PC Engine CD games, super CD Arcade CD CD games are a little buggy they have to be in ISO/MP3/TOC format to work Sega 32x Sega Genesis Mega Drive Sega CD & Mega CD games have to be ISO/MP3 Super Nintendo & Super famicom Nintendo, famicom, famicom disk system Master System Nintendo 64 Socummvm Openbor Dosbox Mame Ti-99, ti-92 Radio Shack TRS-80 computer PlayStation 1 Atari 800, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari St Sega Saturn but only boots up logo and really slow Handhelds Game Boy, Game Boy Color Game Boy Advance Game Gear Neo Geo pocket Wonderswan and wonderswan color Atari lynx Watara supervision Nintendo DS but games not really playable Game & Watch Pokemon Mini Dreamcast vmu?
its extremely bad and runs at 2 fps , cause its in beta, and (obviously) there is no touch screen so, I suggest you buying a ds/ds lite, they are extremely cheap these days, with an r4 card
I seem to have trouble with roms not showing up in cps1 there in red and not able to load, I tried 7zip just in case they needed it but still not loading.
That's the #1 emulator I been looking for! So far, people have been saying it's impossible, and all the videos I seen have been some joking BS! There's this still works site, that claims it's possible, but I haven't tried it, as there's no video proof, and I don't want to damage my psp, yet, if it is real, then I wonder why there's no videos on it. So currently, I am stuck on that one.
3 things:1) Vectrex is a 2nd gen game console 2) PC Engine, aka TurboGrafx 16, is a home console, and has nothing to do with PC games. 3) Finally and MOST IMPORTANTLY, you left a bunch of roms in the PC Engine emulator, mate. Thusly making it an illegal distribution.
I love my psp I had it since 2006 up to now 2020 I have 15 games they all look like new and I use them everyday since 2006 I have music and themes I hope it last long cause is the one I use at work when I have lunch talking about lunch I'm at work and I just finished playing but go back to work at home I play with my Xbox 360 I'm old skool ✌️
Great material, thank you very much, I guess something has escaped where is emu mame unless you know some good mame replacement for psp, unfortunately the official can't see most games for me :(
Hi James, new subsciber to you here. I need to ask about PPSSPP emulator games that I want to put on my PSP GO. such as NARUTO 4 MOD but it is only available on PPSSPP. I want to play it on my PSP. I really need your help man.
I acquired an old psp with firmware 3.8 so I had to do some additional digging and troubleshooting to update it before I can use this. I had to first get the update since it is no longer supported, then I had to add the custom firmware mod. what folder is for NES/SNES systems?
having trouble getting games on the system. i was able to get ps1 eboots and iso no problem. but cant seem to get any psp games to work. theyre all a 7z file and when i extract it there is no iso. im confused
I was wondering if you could help me clear something up, I'm looking at the readme for PicoDrive, and it's not 100% clear where I'm meant to put the BIOS for SegaCD emulation. I also don't see a BIOS file in your pack. Do you know offhand where it's meant to be placed?
Ive been trying to use the gba and nds emulators on my psp go, so far all games I have tried have failed to get past a white screen. Any way to fix this?
