its probably because you kind of have an incentive when you kill a person in limited life. thats why i think limited life is the best so far.

Ypu can respawn as a red here, I think that's the difference. There's not as much risk.

He wouldn’t have got to yellow, he died twice at the beginning and killed jimmy, so he would have been an hour and a half up on where he was, putting him at 5 hours when he got the kill. Then he gains 2 hours, putting him at 7 hours. Among the top on the server, but still not yellow

Regen/health potions, and make a rule against a nether wart monopoly? They don’t stack, so even if everyone had tons of resources any damage would still be scary. Maybe start with more hearts as well for balance when getting to the point of having a brewing stand

​@@Anonyomus_commenter Golden apples are a little easier to get early in game but they only give you two or three hearts back each and it's not instant. What if Green Lives could auto regen, Yellow Lives could regen with apples or potions, and Red Lives could only regen with potions? That would balance the early game, make it a little harder to drop to yellow & red early (this system would not include a boogeyman) and incentivize staying alive as long as you can.
