if anything she has done it fairer then other youtubers by picking the room then the pack rather then pack then the room as it makes it more of a challenge!
This looks like a house for a single dad with a kid. The outside, the kid's room, and the living room were probably decorated by the mom while she was still around and the dad did the rest of decorating after she left them or passed away.
That’s a neat story setting. I was thinking that the single parent is a workaholic and buys their kid everything they want (since the kids room has so much stuff in it). Also its like the parent is a straight laced business type but their child is such a colorful creative person. :)
@@aliciaofalaska4974 True that. Given the sciency vibe we have in the master bedroom, the parent is probably either a doctor or scientist. The child seeing how hard the parent works and how tired they get decided to pursue art or something similar.
I was thinking the one adult in the household (either a parent or a grandparent) has some kind of chronic illness but they soldier on, trying to raise the child on their own. The adult can't bring the child out to play much, which is why the kid has quite a lot of things to keep them occupied in their bedroom.
I’m thinking that in this house lives a single dad and his daughter that he loves so much and wants the best for. He couldn’t afford much more than this 70’s house that needs fixing. So he made her room beautiful but doesn’t really care about his own.
I think it would be so fun to either add on to these challenge videos, or make a whole separate one where you have to try to make a family that would make sense living in the house! It could make some pretty interesting sims and backstories to get the inspiration flowing!
I gave this challenge a try but used a randomized combo of 1 expansion, 1 game pack, and 1 stuff pack for each room. It was fun trying to get three different packs that I might never think of using together to work.
One of the things I’ve love about Deli is the fact that she doesn’t try her hardest to look pretty and cares more about being cozy, for some reason it makes me feel at home 😂
The first three packs I got when I purchased the Sims 4 were Get to Work, Outdoor Retreat, and Luxury Party Stuff all in a bundle, and I just think it’s hilarious how Deli wasn’t too excited to use any of them 😅
Mrs. Pancakes ran away from the house. 😂 She said she can't do it and she's not having it. 😂 My favorite room is the lounge room. Thanks for doing this challenge Deli 😁👍❤️
I have a challenge for you! Build a house using ONLY the premade rooms, you MUST place them in the order they're presented, and you can only change 3 things per room. Base game landscaping and exteriors allowed
I always think people keep uploading the same videos, but I forget I’m subbed to lilsimsie, plumbella, James and deli lol love to see all your different takes on the same concept :)
i think that you did a great job on the house, its better than anything ive ever done with my houses. every youtuber that plays sims and does this challenge is literally amazing at doing this but i dont like it when they hate on the rooms because i think they are amazing.
You’re the best Deli! Me and my BF watch you everyday. I see people giving you a hard time in LPs and what not for whatever reason but you rock and are doing a beautiful job. Lovely commentary, very friendly and creative. We nerds are glad to have you!
Deli got sooooo lucky on her rolls compared to the others. She got some of the best packs in the game. XD Congrats Deli. I think the house actually looks pretty great.
the exterior and living area are gorgeous! it all depends on the pack you get so it's not your fault the bedroom looks like that hahah but i have to say that the half wall with no wallpaper will haunt me
Deli, you unintentionally did this challenge on EXTREME mode LOL everyone else I've seen do this challenge rolls which pack to use before picking a room. Would love to see you do it that way too, and maybe you could guilt Semaj into redoing his challenge on EXTREME mode too!
I used to do this challenge myself last year. and when I watched this today, I missed playing the Sims4. my brother's laptop which I borrow to play Sims on broke last March 🙁 my quarantine sucks!
Maybe a new challenge can be each pack gets its own room/space. So you have to use all the packs. It would be a pretty big house but i think it would be cool. :)
I was somewhat sure the Sims Gods were torturing sweethearted Deli and then it was confirmed for me when she got excited about My First Pet stuff. Then gentle shade from the Universe when she thought there was a bed in My First Pet but it Cats & Dogs. It was confirmed for me that the Sims Gods smite those who show even the slightest support for My First Pet stuff when they gave her Outdoor Retreats to do the bathrooms after all of her trying very hard to make this a cohesive of somewhat decent house! Bless her positive little heart!😏
The master bedroom would have been kinda interesting if you used the single bed to be like a couple was separated so they're in the same room but they're own beds
I feel like i know the story for that house and who lives there. it was bought buy a young family and there young child(probably a toddler at the time), they did some renovations forms thrithed items and the family loved a cottage feel. they were in the middle of renovating the bathrooms when tradegy struck and somehow both of the parents died and the now a child was still left alive, and his auncle had to move into to be his gurdian. the house now techincally belongs to the child and auncle is kinda techy and did really want change much and wants to keep the child feeling comfoatable... he did a quick diy so the bathrooms worked and moved into the 2nd bedroom(feeling kinda like and intruder) and thats where the game starts
So am I the only one that actually liked the entry room and the master bedroom? I really liked how she did the master. I'm in love with it. Not even sorry.
I imagine that a single father bought and renovated an old doctors clinic to live in with his disabled child. The clinic was extremely close to their local hospital, and was suspiciously cheap. The father blew most of his money on the main rooms of the home, neglecting his own room, the bathrooms and part of the kitchen. But he spent the most money on his child's room. The child has a neurological disability of some sort, causing some kind of mental degression. The kid is hyper fixated on anything animal related, and has a pet hamster to keep up responsibilities and fun. The dad focused as much time as he can on his child, and shows his love via affection and gifts. He unknowingly neglects himself because of this, and is exploring a degree of some sort in the medical field. I imagine he recently discovered he's gay via a friend he met through his degree exploring, and the guy helped make the rainbow heart art. The guy he met is most likely helping the dad to focus more on himself and begin to form his own life and self love, all the while he helps care for and love the child. The kid won't live on their own safely, but he's gonna make sure that the time he spends living with them is the best time of their lives. Maybe he'll even get married along the way, and give his child a sibling for both comfort, care and love. Either way, he's the best dad.
the storyline: their’s a child vampire living in this home and they take humans into their hospital bedroom to observe human mannerisms.. hence why all of the rooms are so different.. they don’t have a nice sense of unity idk this is just what i was imagining whilst watching haha ♥️
moonlight melodies, I have a question for you then: if the kid sleeps in the Get to Work bedroom... *Does their parent sleep in the My First Pet Stuff bedroom?* Lol that would be so funny if the roles were inverted like that
I thought part of the challenge was you can't change things once they're done? Like you can't go back and change colors and stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.
