When creating a temperate europe map and select the sculted terrain instead of flat, you can actually get a completely diffirent map, which is actually a temperate equivalent to the castle myers map in a similar way that the panda park zoo is a temperate equivalent of the oceania tropical map. Also, the sculpted terrain version of the south america tropical map has a unique variant that's near-identical to the cophaca park zoo. Otherwise, great video
NEW MAP UPDATES: Rather than make a whole new video every time they add new scenarios I’ll just update the list here. The Barnyard map Summers’ Sanctuary uses the same map as the Panda Park scenario.
Where was this video when I started my zoo in Australia? 😭 Definitely revisiting this video for future zoo planning! Edit: OMG, "Still only counts as one!" - great reference.
Leaf and ZSH both have made similar videos, but the videos are a bit outdated now, and there are some maps that they just missed. I didn’t check any of the sculpted maps tbh. I think you used to get some unique map borders with the sculpted option, but now all those borders are used by selecting different continents or scenarios, so I’m pretty sure my list is definitive, at least until the next update potentially adds a new map.
I don’t think there’s any way to tell what continent you picked once you actually load into the map, so really you can pick any and then pretend it’s whatever continent you want
So if you go to your zoos from the main menu there should be an option to see downloads at the top, and if you’re subscribed then they should all appear there. I don’t think there’s a way to use these for franchise, but I don’t play franchise so I wouldn’t know.
@@alfredsupersauce ah ok thankyou i found them there. But did you also share some files of the expanded borders of the empty maps? I was hoping to build on the empty expanded maps without downloading mods. but i suppose i will have to download the mods for that to work? :/
