Magnus's cat eyes are absolutely beautiful. I wish we had more scenes without the glamour, especially paired with large amount of magic usage. I absolutely understand Alexander's love for them.

I sometimes forget how adorable Magnus looked when he showed Madzie his warlock mark but that episode was so emotional that it's hard to focus on just one thing happening.

Laona Grouchini I think he was supposed to be in Edom for most of season 4 and it was gonna be about Alec and the gang trying to save him.. but then season 4 never happened so the storylines had to get sped up

I always laugh when I see scenes from season 1. After watching seasons 2 & 3, I can't help but wonder how in the world I survived season 1 cause the special effects and acting were just sooooooo bad. I'm glad I stuck through it though, cause season 2 was such an improvement and season 3 was the ultimate upgrade.

@@hethkloooholla2415 I think the acting for majority of them in season 1 was kinda low grade, with the exception of Isaiah and maybe Harry. . . Simon was okay too. I give them the benefit of the doubt though since for most if them, this was the first time really being on a show.

This answers the question I was going to ask: Does it get better? I keep seeing compilation vids for Magnus and Alec, and they make me want to watch the show, but I can't get past season 1 ep 2 because the dialogue and acting is so bad. I think based on your comment, I'm gonna skip season 1 and give season 2 a try.

I love the first season because Alec and Magnus met.Second and third season are great in all.Magnus and Alec are an exceptional couple. The Magnus outfit and make-up has an extravagant style in all episodes, which I really like. The cat's eyes are so beautiful. I would have liked to see the eyes more often. How did he say to Alec? "A tiger has stripes, I have eyeliner". Now she is no longer visible. Magnus looks very fresh for his 800 years. No shadow hunters anymore. Never again new episodes of Malec.Heul, Schnief !!

Love it, I love every Shadowhunters video you make, however you forgot one little scene when Magnus was looking Alec's memories with his cat eyes. I hope you include that scene in some other video. Again your videos are lovely and I enjoy watching them :)

Thanks! I rewatched that scene when I did this. It actually wasn't cat eyes - they were cloudy, like reflections of what he was seeing. But they weren't his yellow cat eyes. That is why I didnt use it 🤷‍♀️
