I think the Inteleon Line's shinies are basically a reverse of their original concept. They are supposed to be stealthy and hidden all the time since they are spies, and the shinies are the complete opposite, being way more noticeable.
Falinx turning brown and yellow could be switching out bronze for straight copper shields. These were used VERY early on by Roman soldiers, but bronze being much more durable meant they supplanted copper rather quickly.
@@GameSharks this. Though I’ve heard that there’s an extremely rare variety that makes it so you don’t see color at all, it would be a tiny tiny minority.
3:30 Yes red squirrels are native to the uk but it is important to note that they’ve been almost entirely been pushed out of England and Wales due to the grey squirrel. however they can still be found in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Even though it has very little reasoning I do love Alchremy’s shiny form. It’s actually the first shiny I ever grinned for, and it was exactly because I liked it so much.
Some other reasonings I thought of: 1. Intelleon going from black to white could be a reference to the Spy Vs Spy comics (ok it’s most likely not the case, but that was the first place my mind went when I saw Intelleon’s shiny) 2. The Galarian Zigzagoon line’s shinies could reference the British flag. They’re not quite the same colors, granted, but they’re close. 3. Falinks goes from gold to Celestial Bronze (you know, from Percy Jackson?)
I always like to think that Obstagoon's shiny colors are a reference to the brighter colors usually seen in pop music, as well of pop rock. Also, pop rocks typically come in pink and blue.
"Shiny Alcremie, probably put activated charcoal in there" Me, having Vietnam flashbacks of my friend forcing Licorice Ice Cream down my throat: *Hehe, the salty cream prevails*
13:27 now of course lockstin could be right but personally shiny alcremie makes me think of cookies and CREAM ice CREAM hence why my shiny alcremie is named Oreo
The blue on Sizzlipede and Centiskorch may be a reference to the iridovirus, a viral infection found in woodlice (which, while not the same as centipedes, can be very similar to millipedes) that causes blue crystals to form under the carapace!
The orange cramorant shiny could reference the article about the seagull found in the UK, thought to be an exotic bird becuase it was orange. Turns out, the seagull was just covered in curry
Just imagining the amount of time you take to write your whole script and create a 20 minutes video that is actually entertaining for young adults (Like the majority of people who play pokemon) is really amazing! Keep up the good work and greetings from Costa Rica.
I think Sinistea/Polteageist’s shiny is a reference to Harry Potter. In Harry’s first Divination class, Professor Trelawney tells Neville to grab a blue teacup after he breaks his first because she is “rather fond of the pink”. Pink teacup is more valuable/precious! Or it’s just a really cool coincidence.
Normal sirfetch'd - Someone forgot to add color to its model before calling it finished. Shiny sirfetch'd - Someone dunked it in yellow paint and called it a day.
Actually the color of the milk also can be due to pasteurization, because even with whole milk a lot of the fat is removed as well as some nutrients due to pasteurization, which is important cause it helps prevent the spread of typhoid fever and teberculosis. All factory milk is pasteurized either way tho. If raw milk is white tho, there is something wrong with the cow
You should do like a shiny Pokémon explained video for the Kaskade region you have It’ll set up shines for your new region too as well as being a cool vid idea
Aside from orange being a happy and cute color on Cramorant, the color orange is also associated with hunger and gluttony, which could also be an influence behind its shiny coloring.
The ironic thing is the ghost horse is the most accrute to horses real senses... So it bacsially looks like a my little pony, but is actually a giant op tsundere like all horses are.
Shiny corsola is not based on dark colar but on bleached coral. When the symbiotic algae of the coral is expelled by the polypod the coral slowly dies. It is a major problem in coral reefs due to increasing water temperature.
-i thought Impidimp's line was a reference to Hatterene's line colors (actually now I wish Hat & Grim's shinies were just color Swaps of each other) -oh, Galarian Weezing is not copper/brick color as I thought -yeah a lot of the Shiny Galarian forms went for the Original Form colorations, it does help their designs are generally a more interesting version, so I'm ok with it
Honestly I’m surprised he didn’t point out how both Shiny Galarian Meowth and Shiny Galarian Stunfisk use their original Kantonian and Unovan colors respectively.
With the Grimmsnarl line... ... If its hair is its muscles, the tongue colour would match the hair because the tongue is a muscle. Ergo, it’s a tongue of hair 🤘🏼
Wait, I thought that Chewtle and Drednaw’s were references to Bowser Jr. and Bowser respectively? The color schemes are pretty similar, and it would make sense as a reference to Nintendo’s iconic turtles.
Everyone mentions the seagull in curry but I immediately think of a character called Takatsuki Yayoi whose image colour is orange, eyes in green and her catchphrase is litteraly the name of Cramorant's Japanese name
The difference in color of the milk is barely noticeable irl. It's hard to even tell when you make butter out of it which exaggerates the yellowness as much as possible
Turns out the first Sojouner I ever caught was shiny but I had no idea because I hadn't caught one before or caught one since! When I saw the dark grey one show up I was like "Oh that's pretty ne- wait a minute."
I have never loved a channel as much as yours... You have taught me so much about other parts of the world in cultures, animals, etc. due to their connections with you topics.
