This is fab & so encouraging for me. I’m 66 with a few kilos to lose, v unfit & v unsupple (always have been). I did my second barre for beginners (Ballet With Isabella) today in my tiny bathroom with the heated towel rail as my barre. I know now you shouldn’t compare yourself with others (unless to learn from them & improve) but just work on improving what you can & might do. Eva your humour is adorable & I love that you aren’t afraid to laugh at yourself & aren’t scared to question & quest to improve. Please keep going! Xx ❤

Saying words in Italian is not offensive. Ballet is literally saying words in French so … it’s not like English speaking ballerinas say their steps literally in English, that would be more offensive because it erases the French heritage.

As someone who came to the channel only after your bangs era had ended, I have to say you were really pulling off the look! You really have gotten better, and Amber has also learned patience through this journey. Sorta. Mostly. In retrospect, the idea of gargouillades as "step 2 of learning ballet" seems a little insane, tho. It's like if you were learning to fly a plane, and chapter 2 of the textbook was titled "Advanced Dogfighting Techniques of the Cold War Era"

I know this is a longshot, but I HAVE TO HAVE the dark green lace leotard with the chest cut out. The one that you wear in the trio video that starts at 16:30!!! Please, please, Are we doing? please tell us the style or brand! I’ve looked all over the Internet for it, and I really need the information in order to locate it. Thank you, Eva! (or her team!)

Being corrected in ballet feels a bit like that scene in Mulan in which she's been trained by Mushu 🐲 to walk like a man 😂 "chest up, shoulders high, feet apart and strut!"

Eva you’re such a good sport!

You don’t have a fat ass your pelvis tilts slightly forward which also encourages your rounded back/shoulders and your chest tilting slightly down when you try to pull up straight. Amber showed you how to tilt so your aim your tailbone at the floor and get your hips square, then imagine a string from the top of your head pulling you up straight but don’t just throw your shoulders back as let your ribs flare out/forwards, keep them in and try to get a straight line passing through your ear to your shoulder and believe me you could get passé like Amber with time

Eva your left foot pronates pulling your knee inwards and shifting your weight along the inside of your left foot/ shin and probably why it doesn’t turn out quite as much as the other leg You’re doing so good we really enjoy these lessons and your chemistry with the girls the fact you can get your pirouettes sonics even with postural issues means you’ve worked hard for a really nice result. You have such a great understanding of directing dancers already, once you’ve trained to the same level as your subjects you’re going to be a crazy amazing model yourself and I’m excited for it
