@@TheFlyfly "25% of cats spawn as kittens. During a full moon, 50% of cats that spawn are black." (tuxedo doesn't count as black) I actually didn't know that. That's pretty cool
Always pissed me off how you can only use a small 2 person boat when these ancient people had giant ships. I mean, the player has the most advanced things, comparable to a god even so why are we stuck with a dinky little boat?
But the player can build massive slime block flying machines. Also considering how entities work in the game, it will be unpleasant to have such a large entity.
Also, 70 free levels, getting the elytra with the end cities, the best loot EVER. And endermen farms (I don't use them but they're so efficent.) Back when I defeated the dragon, that was my first time reaching level 67 (I missed some XP I collected later so I had around 72 XP if I found all of it) Now I have guardian farms but they are such a good way for XP and loot. Strongholds should be in at least top 5, I mean even the structure itself gives diamonds, enchanted books, and many advanced recourses.
Also I know the end cities don't count since they are THE LOOT + ELYTRA but if it's the thing that leads into all of those it's value should be something like 8 even if the loot itself isn't as advanced. Still the loot should've been at least like 6 cause it still gives VERY GOOD enchanted books and diamonds.
I've always felt the jungle temple was too small, if i could update it, i'd make it a Mesoamerican style zigerot that you'd go into and it'd go underground maybe make the arrow trap hallway longer and either have the dispenser at the end be multiple that span the widþ of the hallway or several going down the lengþ of the hallway and once the trap i triggered it would continuously fire arrows that have to avoid. They could allow dispenser the dispence gravel to barry the player when open the final loot chest. For blocks they could have special "jungle temple brick" that's as hard as obsidion (thow maybe not blast proof) to discourage just digging þrough, and maybe even a new "jungle temple false floor" block that acts like a normal until being activated by Redstone, at which point it act like a gravity block and it could pass a Redstone current þrough itself. It could even have a "jungle temple dispenser" varient tjat acts like a normal dispenser (other than hardness maybe) while not clashing wiþ the other blocks. Perhaps also multiple variets of "chiseled jungle temple brick" or "jungle temple mosaic" (that act like painting) to have hieroglyphs across the walls. Edit: and for loot idk for the chests, but someþing that i þink would be cool is the dispensers firing poison tipped arrows, it's extra challenge and even if you don't like the normal treasure that would be a reason to go by itself, to get a stronger arrow that currently isn't that useful due requiring to brat the game to get.
They should definitely do a structures update. Some of the old ones really need updated. They could still have the old versions spawn sometimes too. They could update a few old ones and add a few new ones. It would be really cool. Also the Stronghold is made up of rooms. They don't even have to change every room. They could just add more cool and some rare rooms to it.
Sponges, prismarine, one of the best sources of xp, the best light source block, and elder guardian traps can be taken from a ocean monuments. They are far from useless.
7:08 the better loot that comes from these isnt directly in the structure, they give a treasure map that will lead you to burried treasure(at least on bedrock edition) that can have plentiful riches of diamond iron gold emeralds chain armour a heart of the sea, potions of water breathing and food items
Honestly, for me, it doesn't even matter if not all structures have a real or practical purpose such as the desert well and the fossils. I think they just add flavor to the game, and fill out the world to make it feel less empty as stated about the witch hut!
I entirely agree with that statement, it brings liveliness and makes me gain a personal attachment to the world I’m in because they can spawn in so many different areas and ways
“The pillaged outpost took away from the woodland mansion” “I’m so curious how they fit together” If you’re curious, that should be +2 to value for both of them.
If you are not subscribed to toycat: 1. Stock up on potions of fire resistance 2. Replace all wood in your house with warped wood or crimson wood. 3. Make sure you have plenty of desert wells nearby. 4. Get yourself your own personal aqueduct. 5. Build a shrine to toycat is yes. 6. Plead for your life by sacrificing all illegals you may have in your possession. 7. Subscribe because toycat is yes.
@@australium7374 they kind of do. I've had countless times where I've gone into a stronghold library and found a really good enchantment book, better than whatever I had in my sword, bow etc.
It's a crappy thing . One out of 17 times that are in between a village, and in the same desert is also a temple. 1 out of 12 times the temple and village are within 100 blocks.1 out of 7 the temple is there but no village. 1 out of 4, village but no temple.
I just see the sandstone and think its a desert temple so I get my hopes up, but once I found a ruined portal in a desert well and the water was obsidian cause of the lava from the ruined portal which made me go, BRUH
Strongholds were introduced before The End. I have a world from back then with a Stronghold and no End Portal. It was kinda neat as a sort of cave-but-different. But the only reason you actually cared about it was because back then there also wasn't a crafting recipe for Mossy Stone Bricks. BTW that's also why you used to be excited for every dungeon you found regardless of whether you already had mob farms.
I remember the first time I played minecraft lan with my brother on pc, and we went into a booby trapped temple, and I have never seen another one since but for that game, we lived in that temple in the woods, we disarmed the trap and hoarded our loot, fought of a bunch of skeletons through the night and fortified ourselves in there till the world was left to rot
By the way: Don't forget that you can rarely, But surely get a whole bar of Netherite, Together with more common Nether scraps and ancient debris in bastions! Edit: Personally, I love the Bridge Bastion the most *(**44:57* What? I seriously typed all of this before watching this part. Me and Toycat share the favorite Bastion with each other). Don't get me wrong all of them are fabulous, but the bridge one stands out the most: When a Bridge Bastion generates in the middle of a lava ocean and you face towards it's front/entrance/bridge, it looks like a colossal Blackstone monster with eyes of lava, trying to feast on gold that is lying at the edge of the bridge which resembles a tongue. It looks fabulous 👌. I once found not one, but whole two perfectly generated bastions in the middle of the lava lake in my survival world. I was so intimidated that I did a 180 degree curve and ran towards exit portal at the opposite direction. It truly scared me at first glance.
Yes on bedrock edition u can get one of those easily and they arent even that rare u can find them in woodland mansions in a secret room When I found it for the first time I freaked out but I found that that is normal
The first desert temple I found was an amazing experience for me. There were only 4 blocks above ground and I remember thinking it was weird and digging down into an open area.
Honestly, in my opinion the fossil to me just seems like a nice cool little thing. Just something you might randomly find, and respond to it by saying “oh, nice.”

I always disagree with your top X lists, but I will watch every second of them. Yes please rank the biomes. I'll watch and talk mad trash on your opinions.
What I really love about the end cities-You can't cheese them without an elytra. They are so hard to deal with, and you cant just cheat them to make them easier... they are so cool!
I think you should make a new updated version of this list because trail ruins got added and archeology can be found in many different structures and now bamboo is even more useful since there is bamboo wood
At least we have the bastions and will have the deep dark cities soon, those definitely fit yours and my exact discripition of a dungeon (which is amazing!).. But I do agree that all of Minecraft's other temples, yes the woodland mansions too, also the stronghold, ocean monuments, dungeons, jungle + desert temples & Nether fortresses, desperately NEED an overhaul badly... Because if the bastion put them out of business, then the deep dark cities are basically removing every trace of their existence out of the universe entirely because the deep dark cities & Bastions are just SOOOOO much better than any other "dungeon" in Minecraft lol... But what I'm trying to say is.... WE NEED A STRUCTURES UPDATE!!!
@@officialprincelouie I 100% agree, when I first started finding bastions back in summer 2020, it felt amazing exploring something that felt truly interesting and treacherous. And I really hope the deep dark cities can bring the same satisfaction of bastions, as well as our current structures and the ones added in the future.
@@Punkandtokelife Me too. The bastions are so amazing! And I'm really hyped for the deep dark and the wild update too. Knowing Mojang, I'm pretty sure they'll give us a good update... hopefully it won't be delayed for nearly 2 years again though.. Me personally, the Nether update is what got me interested in Minecraft again after not following or playing the game whatsoever since mid 2017 after the dumpster fires that were 1.10-1.12... But 1.18 and 1.19 are the updates that will truly get me back into Minecraft Full stop..
I think the stronghold, for its libraries itself should keep it in the top 10. Because, it is definitely better than the jungle temple, pillager outpost, etc.
You can use the pillager outpost for a raid farm which acts as a emerald farm a totem farm a saddle farm a iron farm a enchanted book farm a red stone farm a stick farm a glow stone farm a potion of healing farm and lastly arrow farm aswell as a exp farm
The thing is that desert wells aren't bad per se. They are just an ambient decoration. The thing that makes them hated is the sheer disappointment, always when you see one you think to yourself "Oh. Yeah, there's... Nothing there. Noice"
