You were flying around the top in one corner and out of the throttle for a long time in the other. Have fun and keep plugging away. ??? Would a gear change help on the slick times and take a few degrees of timing out will slow engines response and torque curve. Good luck guys

Take a few pounds out of the rear tires, anything for forward bite

I ain't gonna act like I know anything because I don't, but what I think I remember hearing if my memory serves me. Is when the track is dry slick like that is 1. Drop your stagger 2. Add rear bite and 3. Get off the bottom unless there is moisture down there and keep your momentum up on the topside with throttle control or get passed. I am not preaching I am truly asking a question if what I hear is true or have been getting bullshit info?

Joseph tried everything, low side, high side but we just could not get out of turn 2 with any momentum. Like you said after Fan Fund race, no grip. Still, I love the enthusiasm the HTF team maintains. There's no cryin' on this team! 👍👍👍👍

Not a mean critique, but you guys need to get together with with someone who can set you up with a slick track set up! Get together with that chassis manufacturer, (Capital). They would have the knowledge to help you. It takes a lot of experience on a slick track to be good on a slick track. Keep the effort going!

They're so close to being a good team. Need to quit driving scared and unleash that potential. They have the best equipment and are the owners. Just needs to run harder, tune for a higher line , and compete like it's the last lap he'll ever make.

Y’all were parked next to someone who has probably a close to as many laps around that speedway (Jesse Glenz #7X ) did Joseph or you or even Jesse think too ask him about setups to get around Ceder Lake Speedway I’m just curious if y’all might have asked him. It’s never going to hurt to ask specially when you are completely out of y’all’s comfort zone and Jonathan said that you had 0 grip, and it’s not a race that I watched live but I seen the DOD version of it and thought it was something that I’d ask. Good luck in the XR race’s that’s another one that I refuse to pay the outrageous price to watch.!!🙏🏁

Not getting any bite off the turn you probably know this if you drag the brake coming off the turn when you feel wheel spin and don't lift the tires will regain traction, it stops the wheel spin keeps arrrz up. Anyway, you guys are getting to do what you want God is good and let Jesse drive the backup car already he isn't getting any younger, get some good ol in house competition. Or maybe let him drive the Hendrick dirt late model I think Jesse driving style fits there set up better than Joshep. I Enjoy the content thank you.

The two race passing point system is excellent. Wish everything that has the ability to to run two heats did the same.

Tight and pushing like a dump truck from the center-off. Means having to wait to get back on the throttle. L/f is way high and not working at all. I been working and setting up race cars for 40 years and it seems WAY out of balance!! Constructive Advice, love watching HTF.

So frustrating watching him go in so low and come out so low, when he looks so fast on the mid and high lines.

I have told you guys this several times, my sister-in-law DAD is the main man at Bilstein shocks ( Bill Stine) however you want to say it, I have been talking to him about you guys and he would love to meet you guys to talk about shocks! Let me know how and when he can get ahold of you guys so that he can compare the difference in the shocks you are running and his... possible sponsorship! let me know if you are interested??? I know he works with Jimmy Owens a good bit, plus many many others!! I told him you are running Penske to my knowledge! He has been in the dirt car racing with Bilstein for decades and knows his stuff very well!!! His name is Jim Hiland, he is always at the tracks collecting data and giving advice, very hands on guy!! May have to set your entire car up different than usual, but if it means winning races, that is a good thing, right??? Have not seen a single shock guy in your pits the entire time i have been watching you guys race or at the shop with the weight scales helping set up the shocks for a race!! Might be a good idea!!

Good effort guys. Stay positive like you always are. No doubt you'll get it figured it. I know you guys can easily run with the big dogs but its a little tougher running with the wolves. Keep doin what your doing cause you guys are doing it right and have fun ! With that said i need to run back in the house and grab myself another another adult beverage and get back out to the patio. listening to a good country band playing on the square downtown with the sound of heat races coming from the Brownstown Speedway in the background. Life is good !

I was there. Traction was hard to find for these boys. Help is needed with chassis setup.

Way too many excuses. You can see and hear what’s going on. Swings it into the corner really fast but does not get off return very well. Also, not aggressive. Always excuses.

I have been a fan since there first video. I’m not a fair weather fan.I’ve Been racing for 46 years so I no a little about what I’m talking about. I’m not an expert but been in a circle a few times. If you watch Davenport and big sexy and the guys that win consistently on most tracks they drive the car thru the corners. The ass end of the cars aren’t kicked out sliding thru the corners. Kinda looks like asphalt cars. The 10 most of the time Joesph is still slinging the car in low and killing his momentum. I’m not knocking on him I’m just telling what I see. They need a set up man that is at the track watching the car and reading the track. All the fast guys have setup men that makes them fast. Unless you’ve been in the seat you don’t have a clue how the car feels or reacts. Joesph does the best that he can with set up but it’s a different world from 604 and super with chassis setup. You can’t just call capital and get setup because he’s not there reading the track and dirt. Joesph has what it takes to go a long way in the sport but he has to change his driving style running supers. People think you just hop in and go fast. When you run with that caliber of drivers if your setup is just a tick off your in the middle of the pack. I agree with some of the comments that Joesph has to get more aggressive . But you also have to gain the respect of the other drivers. It’s a slippery slope. You have to run every lap from green to checker as hard as you can or you get lapped in a 50 lap event.He can’t do that because the setup is off most of the time. I’m not blaming any of them there doing the best that they can. If there going to keep running national events there going to have to have a setup man . I’ll be here until the end supporting them but there’s too much talent there too be wasted.

Some of u need to quit being arm chair racers it not that easy give them a brake there still are our team GO BOYS !!

When I was working with Kelly Shryock, the way he explain it. Is you need to at least pass one or two cars in the heat race. Getting yourself in the redraw, or as close as possible. You also want to take into consideration, you don't necessarily need to win a heat race. Because in some instances you are in a better position if you start fourth and finish second. The idea is taking smaller bites of the pie in the heat race. Then getting a little more in the redraw. So you are working smarter, not harder...

The car rips at the top of the track…. But he wants to jump back to the bottom every lap and lose a 0.1! You yourself should feel that you’re missing the entire groove in 1&2! You boys are killing it and love the content! I’m probably the 3rd or 4th viewer every video and been hanging with you guys since the 2nd video ever

How many big races have been won by a capitol sure seems like longhorn / rocket have been winning the big races i dont even see bloomquist cars winning and if it wasnt for Bobby Pierce you wouldnt see them winning either I'm not talking about regional 4 k to win races i mean the big ones when all the heavy hitters are there what combos are winning pretty sure its not capitol cars If your gonna go to these impossible to win races you might want to consider a different route there has got to be a reason they are on top i know we 've gone thru the same thing and it sucks but it's just one of those things and its magnified at the top level. I'm not critizing in any way i root hard for you guys but i think its the old knife and gun fight deal! Good luck!

for those of you who just watch from the stands and don’t actually race yourself don’t be so harsh ….. cost a lot of money time and patience effort and failure to attemp it …. everyone from the stands has the answer to make the car go faster but never seems to do exactly what they give as advice
