@@canofpepsicola3031 the aut team horribly underestimated yba and the other jojo games, though they could have easily keep some months for a giant update and now they wont be getting up again and this makes me sad, as aut was my fav game for a long time :(
If you don’t know, Overwrite gives certain moves more properties. I don’t know all of them but these include: Knives slow down enemies, and Mangle(?)’s Debuff duration increasing
I really like how much more fluid the game feels now :> Still though fluidity and speed also comes with worse latency issues ,_, I feel like on paper this update was REALLY good, but in practice hit registration is weird, if you’re jittery and quick with your mouse hit boxes will lag behind consistently. At least with old Aut one hit usually guaranteed a combo but with how they moved from being combo centric to timing and spacing, you’re automatically punished just for having a bad/average connection.
I’m a advanced mobile player but when I saw this new rework on mobile I was like WOW and like there’s was like a r+ t+ and other moves that had + and I didn’t know how to do those I was tryna do the the world r move and then try do the r+ but nope didn’t work until I finally realised it was a hold btw ty for the showcases I appreciate it!
I dont think its that much worse, Obvs the first one was the best one but if they;re tryna go without M1 into move stun, then its good. You gotta rely on actually timing moves and all combos dont just start and end with m1's anymore
Just cause it got short m1 stun dosent mean its a copy. Using that logic every game that has short m1 stun is a copy of yba. Every other mechanic is completely different.

Cause last i checked only thing they added last update was a trade hub, vamp rework and balance changes while AUT got a combat system that is honestly better than yba's, the shorter m1 stun (shorter than yba) is good cause it's better for aggressiveness and punishing careless people, now it's more timing while in yba you just spam the motherfucker with m1s until you see a good time to do your average 2m1 into shuffle liver shot and star finger
@@AKRBLX Its not like I want it to fall off, in fact they deserve success for the amount of effort they put into updates, but they seem to fall of so fast. The combat rework is barely different from what I’ve heard, I haven’t gone to try it out because of this. The game has devs leaving it often and im pretty sure Kur is also helping ABD with their scripting. It feels like its going to fall off anyway.
@@kujoova man you should try it, it feels like playing a different game. Since all the old combos don’t work anymore, you actually have to use your brain to win 1v1s, and since most autians don’t have brains, i feel shameful
worst update now the combat is like grand piece online where blocking dose not even help all that much and now in 1v1s or open world all i see is the world users spaming ez no brain combos even stoping others by doing blood suck on top of them taking out other stands killing off sp and giving it the worst rework ever over all this update was never ready
I disagree tbh. Blocking DOES help, it just doesnt completely negate damage so people cant just rely on block , And Idk about you but i be holding block and then punish people when they hit my block yk TW is overpowered atm tho, needs a nerf or other stands need a buff

Ngl this combat update is pretty solid the issue is TWAU, hamon, and some other old specs ARE almost unusable in pvp Twau having only 3 close range moves with 0 armor making the halfway unusable against anyone with a iq above 1. Then the ranged moves.... Are solid expect flash grenade it just fucking goes poof when you get m1d after using it??? Hamon is just....no. A fairly unviable barrage with long start up and no armor And the rest of the moves just dont land, its barely usable only thanks to plucks slow barrage.
Frr, Honestly I like where they're going with the combat, but they gotta make it easier to land combos, I feel like they should make m1's actually go into moves this time but add start up on certain moves so u cant just chain EVERYTHING yk
@@AKRBLX One thing i do really like is barrages always leading to a grab while still being easy to punish when used predictably. I think the best they could do is add a combo limit or a combo breaker either allowing you to land at best 2 moves in a combo with m1s or have m1s actually combo but allowing players to use some heat to break out.

YBA is on top because they are adding new things and remaking the old ones to fit in new YBA's style the combat is not that fair but essy to understand the AUT combat is....ok? comparable to YBA in some parts,now it seems ro have the Perfect Block system but i cant understand how it works it has the Energy bar like All Star Battle R the animations are looking better than Yba. ok my opinion AUT wins in Animations,cutscenes,SFX and VFX YBA wins in playability,combat,models and they are getting very nice animations,and they are calling some SFX youtubers like DioD that used to make YBA custom Sound effects and now he's working on Yba
I think that it depends on the person whether he likes auts animation and effects or not. Personally, I don’t like animations and aut effects. I simply cannot accept these strange pentagrams and many particles in every movement in aut. And yes, half of stands on yba has old and ugly animations but I like the newer movesets much more than auts.
AUT has potential, it just keeps fucking up 💀💀 it shouldn’t be afraid to copy YBA since it’s literally the best jojo game, I think they should copy its combat style but have its own moves n stuff
