Back then when I was a kid, the Mos Espa segment of the Phantom Menace was my favorite. I had save just in the entrance of the city to do it again, again and again. It was my first time I could experience roaming a city and talk to npc, making choice and quest, and collect EVERY item possible. I didn't have a PC back then, so the awsome games like Bladur's gate and Planescape was unreachable. This segment of the game gave me a glimpse (without knowing it) of what will become later trivial (but wonderful) in video games. This was my favorite moment in a Star Wars video games... Until I could roam the streets of Taris in the legendary Knights of the old Republic.

Just wanna say that your videos are always top notch, man. The production, humor, editing, and topics covered always have me coming back to rewatch my favorites. Keep it up, Junko. You dun good.

Man! I loved this video! That era of Expanded Universe Star Wars (Dark Forces/Shadows of the Empire) pre-Phantom Menace was just.... chefs kiss. Great memories with these games and it looks like you had a great time making this video. I was pointing at my screen too when the Power of the Force action figures were on screen hahaha! Just a huge nostalgia hit. You're awesome for this video dude, definitely my favourite of yours so far!

Phantom Menace game is so good its practically memeable my favourite PS1 Star Wars game Apparently the Dreamcast version of Jedi Power Battles is the superior version, they fixed a lot of bugs that were in the PS1 version and gave Darth Maul dual blades when hes a playable character due to a glitch on PS1 version

My grandmother had Phantom Menace and a slim ps1 but I don't believe she had a memory card, so I played the opening level of that game with my cousins countless times as a kid, was really keen for you to bring it up in this video and I'm very glad it was pretty much the bulk of it. Seeing the later parts of the game was very cool, also the outro was so funny, keep it up Junko mate

Man, the phantom menace game is getting a lot of love these days. I had the ps1 version when I was a kid, I never got far in it but I thought it was cool. I never thought it would have such a resurgence in popularity.

Star Wars: Rebel Assault II was one of the games I played as a kid and is such a joy to revisit it after 17 years. I looks better than I remember actually.

For anyone who isn't sure, the timestamp for The Phantom Menace is supposed to start after 15:41, not 24:56 as the auto generated chapter thought so.

Episode 1 and Jedi Power Battles was my childhood. I loved going around levels just killing everything, lol.

I know the chances of you having it seen it are low, but your intro really brings me back to the Adam and Joe show (a British TV show from the 90s that was super ahead of its time) that had a bunch of sketches involving Star Wars figures.

Junko, if you've never played *Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight,* I HIGHLY recommend it. It's level design is fantastic, and the live action FMV cutscenes are *waaay* better than Rebel Assault's. It's only on PC though, and I *highly* recommend playing with the "Remastered 3.0 Mod" as it uses a source port that makes the Game actually run properly, as otherwise it can be an absolute nightmare to get this 25+ year old fossil running on properly on modern hardware. It also comes with updated models, and upscaled textures, but these can be disabled in the options if you want the authentic, hideous experience 👍 *Mysteries of the Sith* also... exists, and also has a "Remastered 3.0 Mod" but the level design sucks doo-doo, and the cutscenes aren't live action, so I would only recommend this if you *really love* Dark Forces 2.

I'm sad that in TPM you didn't lead Darth Maul back to the village and have him kill a few NPCs, who then all immediately start shooting at YOU while Maul retreats and polygonally smirks at you from a safe distance. And speaking of Maul, once in JPB in the final batte, he glitched and fell into the hole, and never came back out, softlocking me. I fired some homing force projectiles down the pit to no avail and had to off myself and start the section over. That was fun.

For what it's worth, I heard the Dreamcast version of Jedi Power Battles is considerably more polished and easier to platform around in. Can't say that with experience, it's on my bucket list since I like Star Wars games better than the movies, it's just what I've heard. In any case, your videos are always a good time. I'm up for a series of Junko reviewing each 6th gen Star Wars game.

-there was always a controller with a half chewed analog stick. Somehow. Hahaha -omg, I never found Beru in Dark Forces before -I always remember Rebel Assault 2 as tough, boring, but also hilarious if you had a turbo button -young me really wanted Teras Kasi for reasons I will never understand, but I'm glad I never got to that one. Hahaha -I have always loved the episode 1 game. It was the first time I ever felt like I was able to walk through Star Wars settings and live in em a little, back in the pre-KotOR games. Love the RPG elements it has. Still a fun time! I'm also glad the code I memorized 25 years ago still works on the rerelease this year. Hahaha Fear Boss Nass, M'lady JPB has a lot of platform jank ruining it, but it was always fun multiplayer regardless! ...unfortunately, that makes it super hard to play and have fun with anymore. It's just all frustration I never expected demolition to be the other PS1 SW game to get another rerelease recently, but here we are! Twisted Carbonite returns Love the vids as always! The Couruscant segment of phantom menace never made sense to me. When the air taxi gets blown up, why not just get back on the ship and move to another platform? Maybe one closer to the Senate?

Demolition, my beloved

The only game I played on here was Jedi Power Battles. I actually remember it being one of the very first games I’ve ever had and I don’t think I ever made it past the first level…..

You can put darth maul in the hole with mace windu. When he jumps over the hole you do his lightsaber throw and maul will fall in the hole. The game will soft lock however and you’ll have to do the entire level again as I learned much to my chagrin.
