First of all, I'm an Asian reader who enjoys watching Hunter x Hunter. I don't know what you think, but if you don't know how to name the 4th prince, we call him Cheridnich or Cheridnihi (phonetically). And we call him cherry in a cute way. I think it has become difficult to translate from Japanese to English and call his name in English. But it's a myth that we already call him tserreidnich, and everyone seems to call him terror sandwich, so my opinion is just for reference. I thought it would be easier to say it like this.

My Prediction is that the combination of Tysons Love message , Kachos dying will to protect her Sister and her will to escape and Kurapika Forcing a stalemate will somehow "break" the contest whilst the upper princes weaken/Kill each other . Fugetsu is in a state thats a ticking bomb. She is going to blow up soon. I'm really sad about her and Kacho. They were innocent and only wanted to leave, dying Kacho to a rule they were not told. I hope Fugetsu get happiness in the end.

Kacho's real body is currently missing and adrift at sea, the royalty has no idea and the closer they get to the new world the further out of reach her body gets. How can they possibly reconcile this when they finally realise she's missing?

There's this theory The reason why Tserriednich is capable of learning nen at such quick rate is not because of his talent but because of spirit beast. Guardian spirit beast will increase the rate in which the host able to learn nen, either by simply increasing it or maybe even half-awakened them. Kurapika explained that a half-awakened individual can learn nen in just weeks (or even days) rather than 6 months/a year, doesn't matter whether that individual is a talented person or just an average person. This is actually can be seen in Halkenburg as well. Halkenburg doesn't know nen prior to the succession war, but after he got his resolve, his nen beast resonated with him and his follower, allowing him to use nen instantaneously. So basically, every prince's can learn nen at faster rate, even maybe similar to Tserriednich. He is still a menace tho, purely because of his keen intellect and curiosity (Theta mentioned that he has a capability of expecting the unexpected, which is a really fundamental skill in nen combat). Tho again, this is just a theory.

I feel like a lot of the princes nen beast are going play a big role for all the prince. It’s like having an extra power anytime and manifest and transform depending on the flexibility of the nen beast. Benjamin nen beast being unknown is scary. Just by it’s physical appearance we can see that it can fly, he has needle like thorns that can probably attack, and two mouths with dangerous claws, that thing is probably super fast judging by its leg muscles. Paired with Benjamin nen sponge ability, the more power he gains, the stronger he will keep getting. He will most likely own more then 10 powers. Maybe if he passes 10 ability he can only use 10 and his nen beast may inherent the other ability and sponge them up as well? Would be cool., Camilla Has the Uno effect nen ability that lets her revive after being killed and using the person who killed her as Collateral. That ability Makes her reckless at times , and now she is captured, thanks to prince Benjamin Reconnaissance nen owl ability. Now with Camilla in jail, I hope this changes her thinking and will begin to strategize more. I don’t think I’m going to underestimate her since she has her own army of suicide squad. She most have an advisor in there somewhere. But I find that her Nen beast that jellyfish like creature ability to became very concerning. Camilla nen beast can manipulate its target fully once a condition is met. If she figures out how to use this ability. She can easily manipulate and control every person can get in contact with. Her styles is to send who she manipulates to kill the other prince. Shesh …. The banquets are nothing but a set up and death arena Ready to be used by the princes. The king of Kakin did say that the ship will be a playground for the princes to use. This war is a number game: We will see true war begin on that ship. The 3rd prince nen beast ability is hypothesize if you add a coin into the mouth of it something will happen. It also said the nen beast may cast super natural ability to the user. “ gives you nen” Zhanglee recognized that the coins should not just be given out so Carelessly it snooks be used as a reward or a badge. It popping one coin a show us that. He seems to have a hidden personality as well. He will probably learn nen lowkey with anyone finding out but also his dark side has yet to be seen . I wonder how his beast will react to him.? The 4th prince will b hassle to deal with. You would have to fight him long enough for him not to use the future ability he has. But the more peaceful time he is given the more he can see into the future By activating it in real time. Now he owns two nen beast. Once he recognizes that if people lie to him, he will use it on purpose to gather more nen beast. What a monster. one thing we shouldn't underestimate about Kacho's nen beast is that the princes' nen beast can't attack each other, so right now she's the only person in the boat that could lie to tserriednich, and knowing togashi this is either going to be a really important part of the plot or just never used lol

Halkenburg is determined, charismatic, and kind. However, he has one major issue: he believes Tserriednich is a good person. He likes the guy and the fourth prince could easily exploit that personal view and kill him. And while Woble has Kurapika as a bodyguard, the Kurta can pass out if he overuses Emperor Time (or some specific Nen ability that steals a person’s Hatsu). Plus, the Phantom Troupe is on board and Kurapika wants them all dead. He’ll be babysitting, bodyguarding, hunting down spiders, hunting for eyes, and slowly dying from his own powers.

Imagine the baby winning solely because of kurapika 😅

I'd honestly put Camilla lower down considering her biggest advantage is her immortality hatsu and there's three people who can steal hatsu aboard the ship, and one in particular is a very smart tricksy spider boy trying very hard currently to not die

I really like the 1st Prince Benjamin. He is a BOSS. The total package. He is strong, experienced, calculating and well equipped with a plethora of abilities and even has his own private army who serve him and his goal with more discipline and determination then any mafia family or organized group of supporters that the other princes have. 9th princes loyal followers is the only group that comes close. The most shocking and impressive strength of the 1st prince is how humble he is. He knows his limits and that he can’t do it all alone so he surrounds himself with capable and wise generals who give him advice that he considers before making any decisions. It is the opposite of how I thought he would behave and that is just a small reason why I believe Togashi to be the GOAT of the character writing game.

Knowing Togashi’s tendency to revert expectations, the S and A tier princes here are probably the least likely win the succession war. He’ll probably just give the crown to someone harmless like Taison lol

Additionally, 9th Prince Halkenburg has a Nen Beast that can alter memories, making spying on him nearly pointless.

After everything that happened regarding Kacho, i seriously hope Fugetsu finds a way to survive the succession war and live the normal life that she and her sister always wanted.

Tserriednich is definitely the most dangerous villain in this arc, he must be the first thing on the kill list. If he dies, another monster will be purged from the world. And Benjamin must also persish.

This arc is awesome bc in only a couple weeks it’s chaos already but with crazy strong princes to the spiders, the zodiacs, beyond, hisoka and the mafia. I just can’t wait for this all to hit the fan and crazy free for all battle happens. This arc I feel is Togashi’s crazy alternative version to the ant arc but just with humans just to show how much worse we are than those ants.

Tserriednich will definitely become a very powerful nen user, in fact his technique is already very strong. But the odds of winning are against him just because our boy Kurapika has a personal problem with him. Plus, with Hisoka going up some tiers, I feel like a team up is possible and that would be brutal to anyone that stays in the way.

What happens if Hisoka learns of Tserriednich's potential? SCHWING! I wanna see that development.

I wonder if Togashi is going to do something along the lines of Wobble’s nen spirit beast being a parasitic spirit beast who’s ability is to attach itself to and supercharge Kirapika and keep him alive and strong and maybe even more powerful in the long run

I'd really like to see Hisoka and Chrollo's reactions to the prince's nen beasts. I could see Chrollo testing the possibility of being able to steal a nen beast, and either way killing a prince in the process.

Fugetsu technically does have a win condition, but not exactly with her nen ability, same thing with the baby. Let’s say all the other princes have been eliminated save for her and the worst possible candidate, the psychopath prince. The guy could be so unpopular that everyone bands together to defeat him. So while trying to find her and kill her, she efficiently runs away while her Allies defend her and try to kill the remaining prince. Because otherwise it would spell doom for the world, heck even Hisoka might want to jump in at the chance of fighting one of the strongest nen users he could ever encounter.

I will put my bet on 4th prince. Idk but i find him the most charismatic and evil out of every prince🛐

i agree with your comment on Halkenburg that he could descend to evil in a fast rate. People may not see much on his character, but it was said that he is a morally upright and harsh person. People like this tend to see the world in dualistic or black/white way and it seems he is some kind of loner who has hard time to truly bond with others. I don't think it's distant to see him as a guy who thinks like 'either you are with me or against me' in wars like this. He may ended up killing his younger siblings like Fuugetsu or Marayam if needed.

I loved your side comment on talent. I was a C student but through hard work am pursuing a masters degree in an incredibly competitive field with the possibility of getting a PhD. Grit and hard work trumps talent.

Talent just means to have a natural advantage. So a Lion is talented at hunting. A human is talented at thinking etc It doesn't get rid of their hardwork, it just points out the very obvious natural advantage something might have.

Betting on woble surviving until last, then we have this big moment of 'do I kill chrollo or 4th prince'.

This is going to be one of the most pivotal arcs in hxh future. Like if benjamin wins we could see a world war arc in hxh.

Marayam seems like he's protected enough seeing hanzo isn't just your average hunter and then there's biscuit smart , knowlegable and has experience and probably has the greatest ability to complement maryam's nen beast. He can use cookie in maryam and keep him healthy and relaxed making his nen beast in tip top shape it can possibly can. And with its ability they could just hide it out til they could have their chance to win the whole thing. Woble is probably the least protected seeing kurapika's mental stability and protecting the prince isn't he's main goal. We already saw kurapika failing to protect his employer once and probably died too.

Yeah, saying Tssereidnich could surpass Beyond Netero is a MASSIVE stretch. Especially in a week lol

I think Benjamin had the best chances out of them all and as his men keep dying he will eventually get more powerful up to a point. Although I still think his advantage over Halkenburg and Tserriednich is decreasing and I kind of see Benjamin killed by Tserriednich after an fierce battle, I doubt he has a different fate other than that. On the other hand, Halkenburg will probably get cursed by Camila's untouchables or something like that, his power will decrease once his men begin doubting themselves, so he'll be exposed and perhaps will die, he's kinda too good to be true and I don't see him facing his young siblings so he either dies or survives as a weakling. I believe Camila could be neutralized by Tserriednich's nen beast, turning her into something that is not human anymore... Somehow I think the kids are going to escape death (or so I hope), maybe through becoming allies. The other princes could also form an alliance and survive or die by either Benjamin or Tserriednich, they could also get cursed as well. This is as much as I can predict and I may be completely wrong on everything. I believe we need to understand their nen beasts to actually be able to predict anything. Also I'm not even involving any of the main characters into this succession war prediction, so we have another huge variable right there. Anyway, if for whatever reason Togashi doesn't finish this arc, consider my words canon, ok? LOL

Everyone is guessing which prince is going to win, their dad literally built a room with like 13 or 14 beds and one in the middle. Im guessing everyone of those kids is going to be sacrificed for the king and this journey lol. well so he hopes

This is my prediction: The final confrontation will be between Haulkenberg and Terrorsandwich, but the last man standing will be the baby.

11:45 I think Wobble is going to be the actual spanner in the works of the Succession War. All because his Nen beast is ACTIVE, but it has not manifested yet. And be sure, we have seen Wobble's Nen Beast powers used not once, or twice, but THREE times already: - First: on Kurapika, to make him take the job, even though becoming a bodyguard of the 14th Prince was not in the plans, - Second: on Benjamin's first bodyguard who was sent to look over Oito and Wobble (he pulled his En away when he saw Oito being in distress), and - Third: on Maryam's bodyguard, who was sent to Kurapika to learn about Nen (the guy stood up for Kurapika, when two other bodyguards claimed Kurapika was using the tarining to pick them off one by one - Muhan had just died). In all of those instances, these men have shown decency and common sense in situations where doing something else, or actually not doing literally nothing at all would have directly benefited them. They made 'the right call' despite their professional instincts saying it would be better to do otherwise. Since Nen Beasts take shape and powers directly linked to the character traits of the individual Princes (look no further than Tcherriednich), I think Wobble's Nen Beast's power is Innocence. Like you said, the kid doesn't even have the most basic concepts in its head, other than food, warmth, mother, happy, etc. I think Wobble is going to bring the Succession War down because of that - because the kid can make a grown-ass hard-boiled killer into a decent man. And the Succession War can not deal with decent people.

Only one I think is completely wrong is Tubeppa being aligned with Tserriedenich is probably the biggest disadvantage I’ve ever seen😂 she becomes the easiest target for probably the most dangerous person on the whole ship since she’s basically going to be fighting along side him or be in his presence when the time comes and if he’s strong enough and knows he doesn’t need her she’s not coming out of the encounter alive or even landing a hit on him, you have a better chance with Woble😂

Realistically, Woble is going to win based on plot armor. Halkenberg is probably going to die tragically. He'll either become corrupted and need to be put down or his death will affect Tsreidnich's development. Benjamin will be killed so another character can impress the audience Camilla will probably die in some sort of non-murder accident. There are also ways to subvert her ability. For example, she would be doomed if she were drowned in the ocean, her ability would kill the person who tossed her in, but she would just drown again. Tsereidnich is going to do very well, but he's certainly going to die. He's the main villain, an active threat, and a personal enemy of Kurapika's. Honestly, I doubt that the succession war will ever actually finish. I think all of the chaos on the black whale one will cause it to end prematurely. Tubeppa's whole role in the story is to get betrayed and killed by tsereidnich Tyson is a joke villain who will 100% die. She's not likable enough to be spared by the writer but not powerful enough to be a real threat

Money would be on 4th prince except he's squarely in the cross hairs of Kurapika and I've said this before but I truly believe their inevitable battle could be the best in the entire series

I would put meryeum in the same tier as woble bc he has 2 OP Nen users as opposed to one as well as an ability that damn near makes him untouchable until togashi makes it so. Also I don’t think first prince knows what Camilla’s power is… the owl dude died putting on the camera but the power didn’t transfer until after he died and Camilla hasn’t used her ability since. Unless I missed something? 4th prince ability is so crazy op too bc I thought it was gonna be able to be countered since he has too sit in zetsu to activate it but he literally started practicing closing his eyes so he activate it immediately. So it’s gonna be tough unless people can gang up on him and pick so many options of death that he cant counter everyone in the ten second time frame. Knowing togashi woble most likely has the most power Nen beast of them all.

So all someone needs to do to kill Tyson is hire Hisoka then?
