Saying patch shouldn’t be a suit because it has limited vision is like saying iron spider shouldn’t be a suit because it implies Peter Parker isn’t broke.
I don't think Wolverine wearing an eyepatch in a suit would be as big a deal as you made it out to be. With that said, I'd really love to see a Diamond Patch suit, since Spidey got Arachknight.
I figure it's black nylon stretched over a Rayban sunglass lens, he could see through it like thieves who wear pantyhose over their head when they rob a gas station. Why would he deliberately give himself a disadvantage by taking away his depth perception?
I think is funny how he said the Weapon X suit wouldn't make much sense to be worn on the open world but no one cares it is a cool suit but the patch would limit gameplay
But I like the Classic Yellow & Blue Suit. That’s the one I grew up with the most along with the Ultimate Suit, The Movie Leather Suit, The White Shirt and Jeans look, and the Brown Suit from the 80s. I give the Classic Yellow & Blue Suit 6 stars ✨ ⭐️ 🌟 💫
Speaking as a Native American, I would feel honored and respected if they included the Native American suit. If they can add a Japanese suit based for Peter in Spider-Man 2. I don't see why they couldn't add Native American suit for Wolverine.
Plus I feel like it's pretty common for Wolverine to integrate himself into other cultures and groups. He's pretty open minded and tends to have a great respect for the way other people do things. Take his time in Japan in the comics or when he meets a tribe of Inuit people in the cartoon for example.

Until I saw this video I hadn't noticed that the DOFP movie suit appears to be a more traditional yellow and blue suit (albeit in muted colours) with body armour over it.
I want Diamond Patch from Infinity Warps. Insomniac gave Spider-Man an Arachknight costume, so they should give Wolverine a Diamond Patch costume WITH the DIamond Claws.

That’s the same as the astonishing suit. If they add it then they would have to change the model to look exactly like the show with skinny legs and all.

Everyone you said i agree with but just like Spider-Man, they should just make their own version of a modern yellow and blue(or brown suit) i usually like characters default suits than the extras🤷🏽♂️
I'm sure Insomniac will definitely have an exclusively designed suit as canon for the game. I am sure we will get some classics like the yellow suit. I really think they will surely have the white suit with the eyepatch. The Patch persona was central in a Madripoor setting. This may be too much to ask, but I am kind of hoping Richard Armitage voices Logan like in the Marvel podcast.
So for the spirit of vengeance suit and the fire claws… Remember when suits had “suit powers”? That suits power could be to deal fire damage or something (similar to the elemental weapons in Gotham knights)

I grew up w the yellow and back suit, but when I played the arcade game and saw the orange and black. Or black and gold as you call it..I have always, for some reason, thought it was his AUTHENTIC ,genuine, of suit he wore in his life. It's the color of burnt tea, and it's the best suit other than the x force black and gray
Another couple of entry’s I’d add would be the X-Men anime suit from 2011 and the grey suit from the opening cutscene of the X-Men origins Wolverine game but seeing as how that game was developed by Raven Software, who is owned by Activision, who is owned by Microsoft I don’t see that happening sadly
Samurai Logan should be included and plain civilian (although that’s Cowboy Wolverine isn’t it?) the Yellow suit has a couple of variants, like Savage Wolverine and the one he wore for a few years (during the Original Sin storyline)
Largely tangental but I have 2 ponderings about Laura, assuming as we are that she is in the game; Firstly what age do you think they'll go with, the Teenager/young adult she is seen as in the comics or the more child/young teen we see in her debut in Evolution and popularised by Dafne Keen's portayal in Logan Secondly, assuming that, either a secondary playable character in the game or as a spin off game, she is playable, how will Insomniac differenciate between Laura and Logan in gameplay? Best I can think is that her fighting style would include more kicks 'cause of her foot claws.
I have a feeling insomniac could find a way to. I’m just hyped to see them eventually do a full X-Men game. That would be awesome then all the X-Men could have matching team outfits. Like there could be X-Men 97 and 90s Xmen TAS suits.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS Based on the leaked footage, the Classic Brown is a in-game canon suit that Logan wore in the 1980s, seemingly before he joined the X-Men. I could see them saying that the Classic Yellow is his X-Men suit, since it matches the X-Men yellow/blue color scheme. The events of the game seem to be set in the modern day, so they could also have his modern suit be the Modern Brown or the Modern Yellow/Astonishing.
I don’t understand what your problem against the old man Logan suits are? How is aging the character for a simple cosmetic supposed to be a problem? Especially your point against the days of future past costume? That is literally one of wolverine’s most iconic costumes from one of the most iconic X-men stories ever. So iconic one of the best live action movies was based on it. Why on Gods green earth would they not add it because “oh it has white streaks in his hair this one is so unlikely to happen guys they definitely wouldn’t want to show wolverine aging” which makes no sense because insomniac literally made a costume where spider man has a skull for a head that’s on fire and the cyborg spider man costume. But it’s unrealistic to think they would give Logan a hair cut and white hair for an alternate non canon costume? Let alone not let him have two little white streaks? That’s just some of your logic. Luckily some people have also pointed out the stupid logic you made with the patches costume 💀
There's a pretty sick looking Alpha Flight outfit where he has the Maple Leaf of the Canadian flag on his uniform like Vindicator has on his. Or you could go original Alpha Flight outfit with the original blue and yellow with the slim mask that you said you couldn't use. Just have to replace the belt with a regular belt buckle instead of an X belt buckle. You gotta have some reference to Alpha Flight. Or, you could just put Wolverine in Vindicator's Canadian flag costume. You could add a WW2 outfit in there somewhere. Masked Feral, I say no. It has to be a skin where he resembles Sabertooth because Sabertooth is what Wolverine will become if he gives in to his animal side. Wolverine as naked and hairy as possible to make him the Feral skin. He has to look like he's in a constant berserker rage. I don't see why grey hair would matter for alternate outfits. They're just references to indicate the richness of the characters history. It doesn't matter so you can put in the proper Old Man Logan outfit.
Slight spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine Now with the movie out, Wolverine’s suit in it is probably the suit I want to see the most in this game. The Classic, Brown, and X-Force suits I don’t need to hope for cause they’re Wolverine’s most iconic looks, they’re THE Wolverine suits, I mean they were the only alternate suits in the X-men Origins: Wolverine game and what the color variants for Miles’ Best There Is suit were based on so they’re guaranteed to be in this. Any of Hugh’s other looks I could give or take, the casual looks he wore could be inspirations for canon outfits Logan will wear in the game, the suit from X-men 1 wouldn’t be the worst option but the updated version from the other two would definitely be better and I can definitely see it being in the game, it’s not a great suit but it does have its place in X-men/Wolverine history in a way but I wouldn’t be upset if they didn’t include it, and the suit from Days of Future Past is one I’d like to see cause I like the design and it’d be nice to actually see it in action but now that Hugh’s worn the yellow and blue, if they (for some reason) could only include one suit Hugh wore, I’d definitely go for that cause I don’t think there’s any real denying that’s the best look he’s worn (at least for main looks cause I can see someone saying they prefer the Brown suit he briefly wore while Deadpool was “auditioning Anchor Beings” (and I wouldn’t argue cause it’s very valid)). I’m not sure how Insomniac would make the MCU suit look, whether it’s the three ways it looked in the movie with the sleeves but no mask, no mask, sleeves, and shoulder pads, or mask but no sleeves and shoulder pads, or heck maybe they could even just give the option of having the mask and shoulder pads without the sleeves but personally (at least for the basis of it depending on if we’ll be able to use different styles like in Spider-Man 2 or even if Insomniac will be able to give the suit different styles since they didn’t for the movie suits in Spider-Man 2) I’d go with what we saw in some of the promotional material that showed Wolverine with the mask, shoulder pads, and sleeves, I still think it looks amazing like that and having the sleeves could help it be more unique
Saying no Patch because the eye patch would impact game play doesn't make much sense. It's a cosmetic suit it shouldn't be really changing gameplay anyway unless it has a power like Spider-Man PS4. He just works the same as normal but with an eyepatch. Spider-Man Noir can have iron arms grow out of the back it's just for the look

Even though a subsidiary of Sony is making the game and Sony is paying for it and publishing it, this is still a product of Marvel. I don't think movie suits would be a problem.

Your reasoning for the Patch suit made absolutely no sense. Cyborg Spider-Man gets a cybernetic arm and eye but it doesn’t affect his gameplay at all. That’s the point of most cosmetics. Also, there’s an eyepatch next to Logan in the game so what sense does that make?
What I'm really worried about is that insomniac makes us wear a canon suit to fight the final boss in. Cause after some of the weird suit choices in Spider-Man 2, it made me cautious about how insomniac will design suits for Logan.
