I’m a support main with over 300 hours in Overwatch, and even I learned new things watching this video. I never knew that Moira can use a healing orb before.
I like how everybody is here for brigg. She’s definitely the secret OP support plug. Most just don’t understand her. Which is why she is so successful.
Her low popularity actually makes me struggle in games sometimes. Especially now with this dive meta which Brig counters best. But no one switches to her, they'd rather go Moira to counter dive but her dmg is just not enough to kill those divers and she doesn't heal anybody while fighting divers. Whereas Brig can both kick Genji/Tracer/Sombra's ass and heal her teammates simultaneously. But it seems no one even considering her. Asked my friend once we played vs good Genji and Tracer why won't he pick Brig(cause his favorite Moira didnt work at all) He just answered that he doesn't know how to play her. Hilarious
Never been to this channel before, but respect for going straight into the topic. No stalling, no “without further ado let’s get into the video”. Respect.
A note about Brig’s Inspire ability: when triggered you’ll see a faint yellow pulse emanate from Brig and allies hit by it will receive healing over time. It is NOT a constant healing aura like Lucio’s. A small but important difference, I feel.
@@zepchirthey weren't saying jq lucio brig is the best brawl comp they said it was solid which it is unless they're running like ana ram you would be fine running brig with lucio and jq
For the 457th time: Moira's damage and heal operates as a wide cone stuck to her hand. She has to aim it around. It is not lock on. It is not auto aim. The visual representation is purely cosmetic. Compare this with OW1 Symmetra's original beam to see the difference.
Brig is NOT for brawl. Brig will get instantly rolled over if she’s brawling. She’s good in dive comps like Winston Tracer Ana Brig, the comp goes like this, Ana nades, Winston Tracer dives that anti’d target, Brig protects Ana from getting dived on and also give packs to Tracer. Another alternative is Bap Brig, this comp is not played as much as Ana Brig but can provide the team insane AoE healing, survivability, and insane amount of sustain.
Brig is also NOT about keeping inspire active. Brig is about PEELING the support and dps, she then gets inspire AS A REWARD for peeling and booping divers away.
But he has a pretty low skill floor to get value out of, in lower ranks you could easily win by literally only healing and amping heals whenever you can. The mechanics and the really high skill ceiling is what I love about him, whenever you hit that juicy rollout tho 😍
Brig is an anti dive and peel hero, if you play brawl you’ll probably get rolled by the tank and she can duel just a few dps’s that are chosen in brawl comps. For example: Reinhard and Ramattra, sometimes even Orisa are direct counters to Brig when played alongside whit Lucio (which is most likely the support that they’ll use in brawl), Reinhardt ESPECIALLY since he has more ranged melee attacks and whip shot only really hinders Reinhard out of pin… but yeah, Brig sucks in brawl unless there’s like a Junkerqueen meta whit Brig Lucio like in the early ow2 days (before Zarya) and particularly in GOATS
Yk theirs categories to this right…? She’s a brawl but she also protects her support. It’s either she’s poke (which she’s not) brawl (she performs best damage wise up close) or dive (she can’t dive)
@Crazy-lz5zw not all heroes in dive have to be diving, korea is one of the best regions in overwatch and are very known for their ana brig monkey comps brig is too squishy to be frontlining in a brawl comp
@@Crazy-lz5zw brig is dive because she protects the other support. she was created to destroy dive so logically she fits right in any dive comp to deny the other team's dive. She can also be brawl but very risky and there’s better options like bap lucio
My partner and I run the channel together and this actually something we had a pretty big debate about. I thought he should be hard and she thought he should be medium. Lucio is one of the hardest heroes to master for sure, up there with Tracer, Genji, Doom and the like. However, to pick up and start playing, Lucio is a relatively simple character. This little series we are doing is for people who are new and/or want a quick run down of the heroes. We thought it was important to not scare new players away form one of the characters with a lower skill floor. It's easy to get a lot of Lucio's utility. Use the right song at the right time. Obviously he can do so much more, but that was our reasoning for the medium rating.
Biggest thing I don't understand is how Overwatch heroes literally say their own names in game and yet people STILL say their names wrong (It's "Ee-ya-ri", not "iliari").
girl its EEL-YAH-REE, not every latin american country uses the “double L as a Y” rule, you can see how she pronounces it in her voice lines, or the voice lines echo uses for her.
I know this was just a quick guide that didn’t delve into the details, but i wish you mentioned small important stuff such as how when Ana is scoped it her bullets are hitscan, or how Baptise healing grenade does more healing when it’s a direct rather than aimed at the floor. Overall great video though!
@@vitorfeliphe3579now that i think about it, this came out when juno came out as well, so the lifeweaver passive healing when using his thorns probably should’ve been mentioned as well also that his platform goes up and down now depending on if someone’s standing on it
As a begginer POV, Zenyatta is pretty easy to play due to requiring no effort in healing, though slow output but a great low maintenance reward. In the offensive side, Zenyatta gives very solid dmg capabilities, combine that with the lazy healing and the discord orb ability you can see the beauty of making him your main.
Instead of dive, more precisely he can sneak and backstab enemy back line without notice, since he doesn't have footstep, although this act was high risk high gain action and might be blame by random teammate ( I'm a zen main and always doing this while have chance 😂)
I think he means Zen discording him and then his team diving them but that’s a strange thing to bring up for sure. That would definitely mess LW up but I wouldn’t exactly call Zen his counter. Also it is weird to call Zen a dive character but he definitely is good on a dive team.
@@soIzecZen does not do the dive himself, he can discord the dive target though you don't want to play him in dive because he will be left alone with no protection when his team dives
@@andrealelli7505 does make sense, but that's Ana vs 90% of the hero roster. If you hit your sleep and you can hit your shits, easy Ana win. If starts froggering all over and he comes from the sky, shoot > boop > melee > shoot > death
