Film versus the early days of digital. If you watch movies from the 70s, like Taxi Driver for instance, they still look incredible today because they were on film, and 80s movies like Robocop look like trash today because when digital first game out the color capture and resolution were terrible compared to today.
As a Giants fan, I’ve seen that DeSean Jackson TD only once....when it happened live. To this day, every time it shows up on any video, I skip it. Never watching that again
Yaboi Firefly here’s the thing: he can’t hold it for 14 seconds, in a tie game. If he gets sacked, with any time left on the clock, eagles get a field goal to win.
@@mummeedaddee692 Dog. I'm sick and tired of you people. On the real. That happened years ago, he's improved himself and his life. He's been nothing but an outstanding person that gives back to the community since. He's taken his second chance and turned himself into a good person. He's valued greatly not only as a player but as a human being by coach Reid, and everyone in the locker room and front office of the Chiefs. He is engaged to the woman that he did that to, and they have a child. They've moved on, so why can't you people?
Being a Bronco fan, that touchdown from Tebow to Thomas, but for my taste, I think the game vs the Bengals from Orton to Stokley with the tip drill was amazing!
This was my thought as well. Also thought about the Saints' multiple-lateral TD where they missed the PAT. Although that would have been game-tying only.
You're kinda right, they went up 15-0 and technically didn't need to score from that point on (tho they kept scoring with Peyton the whole game), didn't hurt though :-)

As a Titans fan I can say the Music City Miracle is great but really the best came when Vince Young drove 99 yards, picking up 3 4th down conversation, including a 4th down TD to Kenny Britt against Arizona.
I am a Steelers fan and that is one of the best highlights in Steelers history other than maybe the greatest super bowl play of all time James Harrison 102 yard pick six
some of these best game-winning touchdowns are pretty god awful. As in they're just..normal. You see them almost every game from every team. Then there's the few that really shine.
I would have picked the Miracle in the Meadowlands in 1978 for the Eagles. Oakland's was probably correct but had alot of competition with the 1977 2OT marathon winner to Casper vs Baltimore, The Heidi Bowl (Yeah they scored 2 TD but still could argued), and The Holy Roller.
Knew the music city miracle would be on here. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. It was nice to leave off the video with the bengals play that broke the bills 20 yr playoff drought
The best packer one should have been when Seattle won the overtime toss and said "we'll take the ball and we're gunna score" then Al Harris has a pick 6 on the next play... or the ice bowl but I'm not sure that QB sneak was a game winner.
Or Packers vs Broncos 2007, Favre to Greg Jennings to win it in overtime. Or Packers vs Bengals 1992, Favres first win and it was the start of a dynasty.
I remember being up in section 319 in Adelphia Coliseum as a kid watching the music city miracle. My dad was yelling, "Get out bounds! Get out bounds!" then he saw the lane and was like, "no! Go go go go!" Like, the memory nearly brings tears to my eyes. It felt like an eternity waiting to hear the verdict on the lateral. The guy in front of us was listening to a portable radio and he turns after what seemed like an hour and says, "they say the replay looks like a lateral!!!" and we all went crazy!
Agreed. I was also thinking Alex Smith to Vernon Davis in the 2012 playoffs vs the saints. But it's good to mix in older plays instead of all this recency bias.
The Punt return touchdown by desean jackson was amazing!!! Plus Tim Tebow throwing the Game winning touchdown pass to Demayrious Thomas was also cool too!!!
Not really. a. Although both were game winners, the Broncos could've won without that play. b. The Vikings were going against a defense that was much more conservative, while Tebow to DT was done against an aggressive man coverage with no safety help over the top.
@@mr.gentlezombie8709 Yeah Steelers did a rush 10 type of play so only one guy was in coverage (to pressure Tebow) so all DT had to do was get around ONE defender. Vikings is better because the possibility on that coverage of them winning is minuscule.
@@mr.gentlezombie8709 one play in OT with the new "fg no longer wins it, only a TD will" OT rules... And it's a slant taken to the house. Game over.... Pretty shocking....
Probably less shocking than a 65 yard touchdown against a prevent defense. And, as I said, less significant, since Denver could've won without that play.
It is, I see the play before it on every highlight reel of referees jobbing the Lions... Of course this specific play is legendary also, shown around the league by every secondary coach, carefully instructing their team on the proper execution of the infamous Detroit Lions ever-imposing "hail Mary prevent D"! 😁
Any NFL touchdown is great, and the one in the video for the Hawks was certainly special. But I agree, a touchdown that registers on earthquake meter? That has to be the best !
