Lowly Gopher fan here, AK had a tough year. He had lots of dropped passes in the receivers hands. They were two first downs away from wins against Northwestern and Illinois. He was better the year before. Good luck next year and it'll be interesting to see where the two programs are at next season when we come to Piscataway. We got some fbs gunslinger out of new England but will bring a great stable of running backs as usual. Glad to see Rutgers on the up and up.

As a gopher fan, it’s no secret this guy has a ridiculous ceiling, but it like the whole season was waiting for him to break through and he never really did. He didn’t have the best offense but that may have been in part due to a lack of confidence in his ability to be consistent. Additionally while gopher receivers did have a high drop percentage Kaliakmanis frequently made catches harder than they need to be, and needs to learn when to take some heat off, honestly feels like he’s a rookie Josh Allen, but scaled down to college level. If he can become more consistent he will be great, but he just hasn’t shown that he can be yet.

One area that will improve dramatically is in the short passing game. We might even be able to complete a screen pass! We must lead the country in 3rd and 1-2 and 4th and 1-2. Those Wimsatt runs into the line that often fail won't be necessary with Arhan.His passes are accurate, not overthrown by five yards or thrown into triple coverage. We finally should be able to use the short passing game effectively and manage drives better. He's absolutely a better passer than Wimsatt. Should be an interesting camp.

Dude, this guy is light years better than our 2023 QB. Clear as day. He can actually go through his progressions and doesn't just force it to the first read. He makes short throws to receivers in stride.

Coming from a gopher fan here, Athan does have better raw throwing tools than Wimsatt. However, he doesn’t go through his progressions at all, like it’s baddd. He didnt throw catchable balls all year and stared down his number one WR (DJ). Maybe Rutgers can unlock him, but good luck lol

Damn, that’s basically how we feel about Wimsatt. From the tape, it looks like AK is better at moving an offense down the field.

He seems accurate within 12 yards. Good scramble ability to extend plays. He could probably tuck and run a little more. He appears to need more arm strength, and work on his deep balls. His receivers never had any separation deep though.

Had his ups and downs and definitely throws some hospital balls, but man, that first half against NW was really really good

I bet Athan will do very well at Rutgers. The portal is a crazy system; but a change of styles makes everyone step up to a greater challenge.

Well he had 5 more passing td’s than gavin and only 1 more INT, i’ll take 14 td’s 9 INT’s over 9 TD 8 INT any day, and i honestly do think Kaliakmanis would have a better year for us then he did for minnesota

Wimsatt has stronger arm but this kid is way more accurate and hits target in stride

he is definitely more polished QB than gavin , his stats last year though are only slightly better in a weaker big ten west..

mineesota recievers seems like they were very bad. with our much improoved O line and better reciever core, Im feeling 8 wins next year.

Lmao😂 gophers LT was top 5 pff graded amongst all OTs. The o-line MN has overall is average at best. AK8 throws every ball with no touch and all bullet passes. Plus he is not clutch in moments MN needed him to put the game away, he didn't 🤣🤣🤣
