I never considered Dexter killing Camilla as a Code violation. To me, it was neither a Code kill or a non-Code kill, it was just a mercy that she begged for.

@PictureProductStudio 2 месяца назад
You kinda hope he'd run a background check and found the guy was guilty, but yeah, they could've shown more. Also, I have same issue with Farrow: giving up and saying 'an innocent man' is a bit out of character and Farrow is suspicious as all hell, seems at the very least like an accomplice.
@Megacliff
@Megacliff 2 месяца назад
@@PictureProductStudio That Dexter never really faced serious moral decisions or compromises became the weakest part of the series. Over time, it seems the showrunners lacked the faith to make Dexter have to be a bad person in some viewer's eyes, and the drama became stale imo. That said, I loved Dexter the first time. I wasn't even mad about the ending. Now I'm a bit older and see a lot of flaws we could discuss, but I guess what I'm saying is that Farrow being shady as all hell is what made the show less fun.

Nathan do fit the code, dude is a serial child r*pist, he just got out of jail and was already luring in supermarkets speaking to Dexter child and then followed another day the same child and got pictures of her.. Dude operate like Dexter, he follow his target, gets intels, get sure of what he's doing and then act. You know what's the worse thing about childs predators and jail? They hate it as much as everyone else and wish to never get back there. But at the same time those peoples are so far gone into their darkness that they can't stop themselves from doing it.. so these guys would do anything, ANYTHING, to continue without never getting caught.. that's when they stop taking advantage of their surrounding to lure kids into s*x (by that i mean like touching a family related child or stuff like that).. after jail they start kidnapping kids and when they are done, they make them dissapear to never get caught. So in short Nathan at 101% fit the code.

To be honest… I feel like I just realized that most of Dexter’s kills are outside of the code. The code, by my understanding, was supposed to be invoked when a murderer got away with a murder, whether it be by never getting caught in the first place or the killer getting off through bullshit technicalities, etc. But Dexter actively sabotaged investigations and altered evidence for the express purpose of making sure the killers got off so he could be free to kill them. So I feel like a vast majority of Dexter’s kills weren’t actually in line with Harry’s Code. I’ve watched the show close to 30 times in my lifetime so that’s just my thoughts after actually thinking about it just now.

It actually is a good thing he killed Logan because he finally broke the code at the series finale. The problem was that Logan isn’t an important character so it was wasted. Dexter doenst change and that’s a bad thing.

And he was panicking for no real reason. All Angela had on him was some needle marks and Ketamine (which he didnt even use in Miami). Also his story for Matt Caldwell's death and him being set up by Kurt made a lot of sense considering he knew about his secret basement.

He didn’t kill him out of reason. Maybe he was after freebo, but he had it coming still. The predator was highly just. We can all agree children are a no no. Begging your killer isn’t unjust either. It was just an attempt to survive.

technically 17:49 is one of the few unvetted times where Dexter followed Lundy's "code", to save an innocent life.
@CommonCasualty7
@CommonCasualty7 7 дней назад
I’ve always thought Dexter breaks the code more often than I originally paid attention to, considering he was suppose to catch killers who slipped through the justice system, instead he started purposely fumbling his blood work so he could get them on his table, I consider that why he almost got into so much trouble with the bay harbor butcher investigation.

that's what I said. But dexter had no regards for innocent life when he's about to be caught. yuu could be a 17 year old that watched dexter kill someone and if you going to tell he will kill you. After all Dexter does why is he such a coward about prison.

The new show runner for season 5-9 was SO BAD UNBELIEVABLY SHIT bro made deb love dex💀 and then made probably one of the worst endings I think I’ve ever seen. They focused way too heavily on the antagonists and not character development of Dexter nothing really made a lot of sense after the 5th season to me dexter never faced the repercussions of his actions which was the whole point of the show to make everything on edge as if Dexter was about to get caught but always found a way out. When it came to season 5-9 pretty much all of that was thrown out the window😢
