I love how they turned something that was like a small little character quirk (not even a catchphrase) into something so important and meaningful later on.
I instinctively go 'weh' when surprised IRL, so naturally I got called out by a friend who like Owl House. Only by them and none of the others though which is surprising
As a voice actor myself, there were probably tens of unsable takes from him and/or other people around laughing their asses off at so many "Weh. Weh! Weh? WEH! Weh."
Something just occured to me, we get more of King saying "Weh" than the one thing that made me fall in love with his charecter in the first place, his infamous "Squeak of Rage".
The final "weh" to get the collector's attention before he left sounded so raw and emotional. Truly an emotional punch in the stomach 😭😭😭 I'm going to miss this show so much 😭😭😭 Disney did Dana so dirty‼️‼️‼️‼️😭😭😭😭😭😭
This video changed my life. This video made me do 150 push-ups, 120 sit ups, 90 burpees, and 200 squats every day and night for 3 months straight. Now I'm jacked, muscular, and grew 5 inches taller. This video is truly inspirational.
All of the characters I've seen Alex Hirsch voice are so unhinged (some of them even genocidal) that I never expected him to voice one of the cutest characters of all time.
crazy how something shown for less than a minute throughout the entire show, was not only used as a plot-point, but no-body was that confused about it.
The way his little vocalizations probably developed as a form of protection and possibly a sign for parents that their child needs attention (like baby cries) and they just didn’t know how relevant that noise is until he started getting powers related to it. (Also unrelated but it’s a silly vocal stim, too)
