I am saying that as a person who has a large Italian family and lived in a large Italian community for alot of years that wine is almost like mothers milk...the wine flowed freely at an Italian gathering back in the day and even today In an OG Italian family in Ninos generation you would never ever consider visiting another family without bringing food during the day or a jug of wine in the evenings and that's besides the wine served before and during dinner And don't even think of having pop/soda/soft drink with dinner because its insults the host cooking as wine enhances it but today never say no outright just tell the host no wine as Im an alcoholic and enough said
