I bought a 4 pack of metal switchback leds that are super bright from Ebay for my 96 Chevy Silverado for only $16 dollars and some change with tax. Best I've done to the parking/turn signal lights. I also have Fahren led headlights that are 20,000 Lum 6500k from Amazon for almost $70.00 for just the low beam but well well worth the money. I also got total glass headlight assemblies from Amazon made by Spyder Auto for $100.00 and you can swap out bulbs if needed. No more yellowish headlights ever. Just remember when using switchback led bulbs I had to pull out the side marker light bulb in order for the switchbacks to work properly. I know I lost that little side marker light but no big deal for me. Remember to use an led electronic flasher relay so you don't get hyper flashing. I did not use resistors and mine work amazing. FYI: I had the blinker lights on my instrument panel stay illuminated at all times when the headlights were on which was annoying but after switchback swap and removing the little 194 side marker lights the blinker light indicators on my dash no longer stay illuminated which is amazing. Hope this helps. I drive a 96 Chevy Silverado C1500 5.7L.
Lot of people say oh it’s so bright especially headlights but some do not realize how much the brightness effects others especially truck drivers blind the crap out of u and the ones that jack up trucks adjust your headlights but always adjust after putting in brighter lights
Made a huge difference , waiting till I get paid to order some for my 03 . Can’t wait for the headlight build . Been tossing around a few ideas with building some . Love your videos, and how you explain everything thoroughly.
Just get another turn signal connector and splice into your parking and turn signals unless u want the daytime running lights than just splice to turn signals
Finally did this to my suburban, had these already for the rear turns/reverse. Normal daylight operation does exactly how I expect, however nighttime operation runs the amber lights dim, and keeps the indicators on the dash slightly illuminated as well.
Let get the color right for the front in all 50 USA states. front lights can be the following colors. For daytime running and parking lights can legally be amber or white for any vehicle. But the front turn signal must be amber. So switchback LEDs will be a good solution to the problem. After all the parking light is white. Daytime running light and/or turn signal are amber color.
I subscribed I have a 2007 GMC Sierra lifted I got some bubbling clear coat freaking me out I pretty much do all the work to it but to tell you the truth I suck at wiring love the truck keep up the good videos
Quick question, Do i need a resistor? Also do i have to have my parking lights on for the lights to work correctly or can i have them off ? Currently with the Led switchback i currently have, i have a resisor wired in it. It will hyperflash if i have the parking lights off. If i have it on it will not hyperflash. Is the case different with these?
