Play it definitely cause if your opponent screw up and leave something with 0 defense or 0 attack its gg if they do not have a spell negate or a way to pop RDA its game. Even if they pop RDA crimson gaia can revive it and at the least you will flip all monsters facedown and RDA will blow them up… Absolute powerforce puts that fear in opponents 😂😂 one guy popped my scarred dragon archfiend, then I summoned OG from the extra deck then its hard to get rid of with crimson gaia that can revive it and soul resonator eff in grave that can save too 😂😂😂 powerforce is sooooo good
Exactly my thoughts on scarlet security. Took it to one testing night to see if it was any good. Always had better targets to search, wasn't guaranteed to make RDA, absolutely did not want to ever draw it and was worried that I'd draw it instead of one of my better board breakers. Immediately cut it after testing and threw in a pankratops since i was already running 2 l-storm, 1 duster in side. I think I know who you're talking about with red screen lol. Its only ever been useful once, and only to bring back a vision resonator to both help me negate a few cards with forbidden droplet and to search another crimson gaia. After that, its never done anything, red zone has always been an infinetly better search target.
My thoughts on Scarlet Security Vs. Floodgates, it's probably best paired with Trap Eater(which is a level 4 tuner), though you do need to hard draw it, or search it with Resonator Command if they have Skill Drain, and if they don't it, Soul Resonator works too, though Anti-Spell Fragrance is also a thing along with Solemn Judgement. As for Red Screen, you could pair with Barrier Statue of the Abyss(you're play a bunch of Dark Monsters anyway) which is another Resonator Command target as well as Soul Resonator target, though Bystials are a thing so that is a hard counter to that Barrier Statue, and the main goal is to stop your opponent from playing game in the first place. For Red Supremacy, I think Scarred Dragon Archfiend's floating effect is worth copying, but you do need to run multiple OG Red Red Dragon Archfiends to make it worth it... King Scarlet, Red Cocoon, Crimson Fire, and Red Dragon Vase... yeah these are just straight up bad and only good in like 2011 format or something... Absolute Powerforce, is good for punishing stall decks that sit on indestructible monsters(which you will probably only see in casual play). Though for most of these cards, it's not about winning... it's about sending a message while asserting your dominance as King...
You could activate Absolute Powerforce during damage step (i think) making it harder for the opponent to respond to it. The card is pretty decent with Gaia, attack any monster with 0 def and that's game out of no where
The same problem still exists, It’s a battle trick. You have to make RDA, Get RDA to the battle phase, have it attack, have Crimson Gaia Flip everything face down, and then use the OTK spell your opponent knows you searched. If you get to the point where you can attack with RDA and flip everything down with Gaia you’re winning the game anyway.
I think Red Screen is pretty good. If you get interrupted and can't combo, red zone will not get you to the next turn, red screen might. If you make a board, but didn't banish anything and wont have RDA on field, it can be a backup in case they break your board. You can also use its second effect to turn Abyss into baronne after you use its negate if you play the Bystials and have Etude. Edit- Red Screen looks even better to me with Earthbound support if you want to play them. Pop red screen, summon ground keeper, then special any level 5 or lower earthbound you need, can be good if you use Etude or just to extend on your turn if you dont. I am going to find a way to summon grepha with my RDA deck🤣. I get the point that needing RDA for the effect is not ideal, but if you cant get an RDA on the field you are losing anyway and at least it might buy you a turn or 2 before it gets outed.
Absolute power force a great 1 of…. If they have no way to negate it or pop the RDA 8/10 its game… I resolved it 3 times at locals and was gg each time…

I feel like you don’t realize literally that the card in junction with crimson Gaia creates an un-interruptible combo that board wipes fields due to flipping everything face down (thats not a link) and stops anyone from bothering to save themselves via spell/trap/GY/banish effect… imagine cooking a XYZ Zeus (and a full board of your opponent) because you flipped everything face down and attacked the weakest defense point monster on the field. Thats a shift in battle that I feel is super underrated
@@mdtakes27 your opponent has Zeus in your scenario. They will use Zeus at start step of battle phase before your APF effect can be applied, wiping your board, and leaving you with nothing. It’s not even close to an un-interruptable combo.
@@NotoriousYGO negated Zeus with HRDA ABYSS, no matter how you shape it it’s still a game altering card turning a regular level 8 into a sudo-12 with its no activation + Gaia flip face down into RDA GY Summon
@@mdtakes27 surely your opponent isn’t going to use Zeus’ effect while you combo, cutting you off of RDA and APF. APF is a win more card. You have to be able to combo to get to it. Your opponent isn’t going to let you do that. Even if you do get to APF and RDA your opponent can get rid of RDA before you can activate APF.
Crimson fire is the most disapointing card on the archtype for me. Absolute Power Force is bad but fits in with the archetype and theme while Fire isn't even a dumb win more card. It feels like it would have been better as an onmi negate requiring RDA on the field. Still slow and clunky but an actual function outside of niche matchups.
