I think just increase the pellets per shot by 10%, increase the spread by 5% and double the mag size. It will be more of a bug weapon for sure but that's not a bad thing and it would deffo spray and pray then
The biggest issue I have with the patch is that they didn't buff the slugger back to its og state. It wouldn't be overpowered in the current state of the game. There are guns with more stagger, guns that can open crates and shit, and guns that can 1 tap bot heads. It still wouldn't be what the jar 5 is, but at least it would be another very viable option. Also the most important reason is that I miss it.
Next Patch, except all shotguns receiving buffs - Punisher: more damage - Slugger: stronger stagger effect - Breaker: original magazine (+3) - Spray and pray: push effect or medium penetration.
@@Alsborg I think breaker +3 per mag won't make it comparable or better than the incendiary in any situation. It needs a damage buff also or a much bigger mag than just +3. Spray n pray just needs everything improved.
@@gVert404Agreed. I made a comment on the Bug Tier List video. The Spray n’ Pray is a very solid weapon for bugs. Problem is nobody gives it the time of day because the Incendiary Breaker is simply a better choice. Personally, it’s my favourite weapon for Bugs and for good reason. If you do the math, the Spray n’ Pray actually outperforms the Las-16 Sickle in almost every metric outside of its superior range and Infinite ammo. Gotta be careful how often one says that tho as to avoid being “burned at the steak!” 😂
I think rounding up the damage more, probably adding more pellets to make it like a wide spread ahead of you. Then beef up the fire rate to around Liberator. Give it maybe 5 more mag so it stands out from the incendiary, and yeah I think having it like a scatter gun sort of like an automatic punisher without the stagger would be interesting.
The standard breaker should have more stagger and deal more direct damage. Or, or, hear me out. They reduce the mag size slightly and give it frag founds. Might be kinda goofy suggestion though.
I would definitely love to see a booster video, I feel like every single mission you take the same three with vitality space optimization and stamina. With the stim booster it feels like all four are on lock but would love to hear sales pitches on other ones
Boosters are much more difficulty and mission dependent, so it's tough making a single tierlist. The weapons all perform roughly equally well. for boosters, HSO is useless outside of eradicate missions on helldive. No one dies and you just call in a resupply when spawning in. I don't see it used and the only issue skipping it is dropping on a large bug nest with a grenade pistol that's half empty. On helldive, it's also much more useful to take the localization booster so you can stop chain breeches and drops, but at 6/7 or lower, it's not necessary and borderline useless.
Diligence Counter Sniper is by far the best primary weapon for the bots. Nothing really even compares. The purpose of primary weapons is to take out small bots and devastators quickly and efficiently. The Diligence Counter Sniper 1 shots all small bots and devastators, has plenty of ammo and the best range/accuracy of all the primaries. The only thing the counter sniper cannot kill is tanks/factory striders/tower turrets and large mission objectives, everything a stratagem can cover. IMO the best bot loadout is the Diligence Counter Sniper, Bushwacker, Stun Grenades, Autocannon and any stratagems that can take out what the diligence can't.
Scorcher is the best option. It deals with gunships easily and is much better vs scout walkers than the cs. Plasma punisher can clear dropships, so it's the next best. I'd put cs third, but still s tier.
i mean he has it in 4th place for best primary weapons, so your opinion is valid. just keep in mind that his top 3 weapons on this list can also do wonders as well. plus the counter sniper is outshined by the AMR stratagem, which is worth noting
@@anthonymarquez8173 first person, but also dropping ADS and turning your body can let you transition a lot faster, treat it like a sniper in another FPS. Strafing to transition targets can also help as well.
Using a combination of the techniques can help get you on target a lot more quickly. Still need skill for fine aiming but to handle the gross movements between targets and directions, move your body before you move the gun.
The dominator now doesn't have a role. The scorcher and plasma punisher can take on anything, even striders at medium to long range. The counter sniper does long range, the adjudicator is the all round choice now for close to medium range with the pummeler managing close range with a shield, well. It's good to have options but the lack of purpose for the dominator needs to be addressed. A long range scope option for the dominator would make it fit in between the counter sniper and the AMR. There are just better options for close to medium range now, making the dominator pointless to bring.
Please do a booster and armor video. I'm curious to see what you think. I personally feel like the new booster eclipses all other boosters and because of that it pushes medic armor to the forefront
Every weapon has a different play style. The problem with the community is that most of them come from call of duty, gta games, that spoon fed players when it comes to shooting and spraying guns.
I don't think that's the case as the community used to be super positive. Looking back it has been more of an issue that devs push for bad change after bad change. All the unjustified nerfs just completely grinded down a lot of positivity and interest for the game, at least it did for me. I used to think that surely they'll see this or that adjustment wasn't needed and they will backtrack on their change, when that change instead was another nerf it finally just killed the game for me instead.
Plas punisher is S tier for me. You can’t think of it as a shotgun as it operates more like a grenade launcher. It has fantastic range and if you’re having trouble aiming just walk the crosshair up until you hit the target. The AOE plus stagger is perfect for bots since they stop shooting you during stagger.
Yeah used it for the first time today it's so much fun, really good for taking out tier 1 bots before they can call reinforcements and also really fun to combine with the jump pack and just obliterate them from midair
any nice combo's with it? like flamethrower, burn ground, swap plasma punisher stagger them or throw turrest, plamsa punisher to stagger enemeies or smth?
@@s2wuolf508 if you get them in a cluster you can kill the whole group with the same amount of shots it takes to kill one. But yea I hear you that the time to kill leaves a little to be desired there.
@@hanshans9902 definitely not the flamethrower. They nerfed that thing so much I’m pretty sure hairspray plus a lighter would work better. Right now the HMG is one of the best guns for bots or the autocannon so you can hit gun ships and heavier target like the chin guns on the factory striders.
I think the knight would be perfect if they fixed the ammo economy, and gave it medium pen 3. That way it's just space p90, and all 3 smgs have a proper use case. Defender is damage, pummeler is for stagger, and knight is armor pen. It wouldn't be over powered, and wouldn't be a mist pick, but for those of us who own it, it would become a weapon that isn't a meme pick.
Knight is a beast with a ballistics shield (the non-bugged version) against bots. I was honestly surprised at how effective it was at even longer ranges and doing little 5 round bursts assaulting into bases. Just *tap tap tap tap taaap* and my problems go away while I do a 2 second reload. If knight got medium pen, then I think the damage should go down to 45 normal, 4 durable. Overall I think this would be a significant loss in killing ability, since I often find the Knight is not limited by DPS but by total damage in the magazine + the misses + damage loss over range. I could see a magazine increase to 60 rounds and no other changes. Getting 6 out of 7 (or maybe it was 5) mags back from a super supply box is kinda weird, but the 2 mags per normal supply box is reasonable.
I got good with the Plasma Punisher before they reduced the arc/curve, now it's an absolute dream to use. I can hit targets at the edge of visibility range pretty consistently and the splash damage helps at those ranges if you're off slightly. Honestly I struggle to use anything else, I've just become that used to it's play style. But I also understand why it's not more popular, there's definitely a learning curve (although again, not nearly as harsh as it was originally). I don't see many other people using it.
personally i think Counter sniper should be in S for bots, one tapping devastators is too good. You shouldn't be using primary for anything heavier anyways.
It struggles against melee and jump pack, but realistically no more than the other S-tier picks. I agree, it is S-tier. Striders can punish it pretty hard. personally I think Tenderizer and Adjudicator are high A.
Adjudicator would be higher ranked than the tenderiser at higher difficulties just because of more medium armour. You need to carry a bushwhacker or redeemer with the counter sniper to handle close range, or take a HMG/ Laser cannon to handle close range and heavy armour.
Try running Plasma Punisher, Supplypack and Heavy armor. You’re a tank who can push almost anything and bully hordes of devestators with ease. Pair it with AMR, Laser Cannon or Quasar to deal with Hulks, Tanks/Turrets, Gunships.
I can't do heavy armor, movement is just too slow. I usually run Plasma Punisher, Jump Pack and Quasar with medium armor, I can move around fairly quickly while lobbing shots but still take a rocket hit, and if a pack of devastators gets too close I can jump to give some breathing room. That said, lately I've been running the supply pack with the Heavy Machine Gun, the downfall to my other setup is I have no real way of dealing with gunships
Plunisher under no circumstances should be below S. It's genuinely the best bot weapon in the game. You do not need to be an insane gamer to get range out of this thing - ever since they made it easier to aim, this thing is effortless. Like, I'm not good at these types of weapons and I can hit shit 100+ meters away with only a bit of correction fire. I cannot imagine taking the Scorcher over it. Unload it and you'll destroy a devastator horde. In fact I'd say it's S+, it's that good. That thing feels almost as good as the OG Eruptor. I stan the Plunisher and it pains me to see it away from the Dominator and Scorcher, shoved into the same tier as the Purifier (hurk) also, the Pummeler is good not just as a one-handed weapon for shields, but in general. This thing actually stops devastators from unloading all over your position if you sweep it over a group. The nerf didnt do very much do it (honestly i think the only thing it did was stop it from magdumping chargers). Set it to burst and drag it over a bunch of rocket and heavy devs, and you'll probably even kill a few.

@@firedrapeon6012 Liberator Concussive should be reverted back to Liberator Explosive. It should then be given 20 impact damage and 65 explosive and a 1m AOE. Liberator Penetrator just needs a damage buff and a magazine buff. That said, the Adjudicator can have the better dps and better damage per mag while the Lib Pen has better overall precision.
@@aaronhumphrey3514 I don't know whether the server can manage that much explosive damage without crashing the map(lib concussive). It's a lot of hit markers when making such a rapid fire aoe weapon. I don't think anything other than the autocannon, would even come close to that level of fire rate with splash damage. It could work but they would need to fix all the map crashing bugs first. If the damage is too close to the adjudicator, then the larger mag, lower recoil and faster fire rate will make it still superior to the adjudicator. Maybe give it a minor heavy pen of 50% damage may make it interesting at higher difficulties instead?
I dont think the verdict quite deserves its spot, maybe b+ imo. Also everything in C tier plus the dagger just needs a buff except regular grenades which i think are b tier. Once you get better and unlock other stuff its left behind but when i first unlocked impact grenades i found them much harder to destroy fabricators and bug holes with, skill issue for sure but for a new player i think that grenade is B-.
Thermite also kills cannon towers from any angle with 1 stick somewhat close to the turret and can very reliably kill a tank with 2 fast throws to the hull. Note: The tank's turret does NOT take damage from thermites and the turret keeps the thermite away from the hull enough to reduce the damage to 3+ thermites required. Additionally thermite can be thrown onto a factory strider for more damage, just in general, but I am unsure more specifics or good spots to throw them.
Dominator is amazing, just run it in first person to counter much of the recoil and sluggishness. But then again that takes precision and not just aim in general direction

Yeah I have no idea what he's on about. Purifier literally fires Plunisher projectiles, and does so very slowly. While I agree that something needs to be done about it, the notion of it sharing a tier with a weapon that's literally the same but better is ridiculous. It should be down there with the Breaker S&P.
Yup, agree with both of you. The plasma punisher is the best all round weapon for bots. Putting it on the same tier as the purifier is illogical. The purifier is the worst, even the xbow is better just because of higher dps. The purifier needs a massive damage buff and a reduction to the charge up with possibly, heavy pen to make it worth using over the plasma punisher, as they fill a similar role. If the purifier gave you the ability to kill hulks, even with a small charge up, that would fill a niche role. There are just far too many good options now for bots.
