ANYTHING THAT CAN DECOMPOSED CAN BE TURN INTO a fertiliser; any kind of food scraps, of cuts, fruit, vegies, skin peels, used tea bag, egg shells list goes on... Anything breaks down can decomposed can also too be used and turned into fertiliser; something useful round the gardens.
This is SO true 😂 I found a little sprig of it in a crack in my driveway…. 4 weeks later it took over the flower garden next to the driveway…. now the plants are like 2 ft tall 😅😅

Those asking what is it she put in the cup, looks like banana peels onion peels and fertilizer from the store, you can basically use mostly any vegetable and fruit peels to add as fertilizer including eggshells and coffee grounds as well, etc. If you want to make a powerful homemade fertilizer for your plants add this: banana peels onion peels garlic peels orange peels eggshells coffee grounds molasses aloe vera chuncks with peel mango peels shred it in a blender/mixer until you have a nice crushed mix and then add some vinegar epsom salt lemon juice to avoid parasites mold odors, etc. Let mix rest and ferment for up to 3 days to a week Then thoroughly mix with the soil and from time to time you can water your plant with rice water, tea infusions(green tea) herbal infusions. Etc. Keep in mind some ingredients go well with certain plants while some do not for example coffee grounds do not go well with mint or parsley but go well with most vegetables and fruits producing plants and roses it all depends on the acidity, ph and alkalinity level your plant needs. Look it up before you add. Good luck

I use every single shell. I do dry them in my oven on cookie sheet....then crush & save in jars for fertile or even human consumption. I ONLY use farm fresh eggs though...
I tried mixing dried, egg shells into the garden dirt, however hundreds of black ants came in dRoVEs and ultimately killed the plants... I guess this doesn't work good in FL ☀️

You can’t just put garbage in a cup and expect the plants to absorb nutrients. It doesn’t work like that. The food scraps must be broken down by micro organism (flies, cockroaches and other insects too), and can’t imagine how much it would attract bugs. That’s why most compost bins are off the floor and bug proof. And what were you growing, mint?? If that was mint stems you planted without rooting first, they didn’t establish very well. Btw you’re not supposed to let mint flower like that. The flavor will be off as the plant puts so much energy in producing seeds. You also shouldn’t let mint seed, as it may not always produce same mint as the original. You propagate by rooting stem (slow way) or you divide the established plant, by division.
Great idea! He put in the cup what'll become natural fertilizer, banana peels, onion peels, fertilizer in pellets, you can also use potatoes skins, other or all vegetable and fruit peels. It's a natural way to fertilize ur plants for free and organically! I waste nothing, citrus peels will deodorize ur trash cans and food disposal in ur sink or use them as candles! If you have a garden or starting one, regardless of the size or medium, start researching and recycling! 😊😊
Добрый день! Я из России. И я живу в своём доме с земельным участком 10 соток. Я никогда не выбрасывают растительные остатки от овощей, фруктов и любую органику. Всё в дело-в сад! В компостную кучу или закрываю под деревьями и кустарники. И за это они меня благодарят высокими урожаями!
Как безграмотно!! Не делайте так!! Будут паразиты, дрозофилы, муравьи, тараканы, плесень, кишечные палочки от мух, личинки мух, кислый запах, болезни растений. Органику нужно ферментировать ДО УСВОЯЕМОГО РАСТЕНИЯМИ СОСТОЯНИЯ специальными бактериями, которые продаются там где и семена цветов. Приготовление полезного компоста дома на балконе доступно каждому. Ну если и добавлять НЕМНОЖЕЧКО органики, то ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО максимально смешать с грунтом , чтобы ПОЛЕЗНЫЕ бактерии в земле вазона начали медленное ферментирование органики. А эти стаканчики - невежество!! Это все равно что для добавления железа в грунт положить в такой стаканчик железную ложку. :)))) Вазон не мусорник!! Через дней пять в доме будет такая вонь и столько дрозофилов, что вынесете вазон на свалку.... никогда не повторяйте увиденное в этом ролике.
Зря вы так, я в офисе под свой фикус бросаю все сырые отходы от фрукто вас и овощей. В основном., о. яблок, перца, морковки, накрыто все пузырчатой пленкой сверху, вырезала по диаметру горшка. Опрыскиваю, поднимая пленку, сверху на отходах есть грибные нити, типа плесени, но ни запаха ни мушек нет. Растение прет😂.
@@liudmilaz3300Сомневаюсь Заводятся мушки , червячки. Запах плесени вреден для здоровья человека. Она и в воздух попадает. Что вредно для лёгких. Настоять в холодильнике, затем полить- это другое дело.
Я под каждое дерево черешня,яблоня инжир . Вкопала дырявые ведра 15 литров. И все органические отходы с кухонного стола отправляю по ведрам . Поливаю 3-4 раза в неделю. Под смородину тоже подкапываю и засыпаю землёй. Удобрения без химии .
@@natalyposashkova9269 тогда можно био отходы собирать в специальные контейнеры с употреблением средств, помогающих разложению, и только потом класть (или ложить🙈) в грядки. Как навоз: можно свежий внести в почву до посадки, а можно внести перепревший
Вместо хлипкого стаканчика я использую бутылку от кефира. Отрезаю половину и использую ту часть где горлышко. Так же дырочки и закапываю. Просто пластик у бутылки прочнее.

Well, I think mint is just an example because it grows so quick and that person didn't want to wait ages to finish the video. Putting in organic matter I once saw in a restaurant kitchen. They threw stuff in with the water for their basil but I don't think that's a good idea. It did start to mold in 2 days. I did visit my brother who did work in that restaurant and that was the last time I ate there.

Why not start the fertilizer in a container with a lid and then pour it when it's ready? The water leaves the cup faster than the food leftovers need. Asks for insects or other hungry little animals
O ideal é colocar uma tampa... tem potinhos, tipo pote de molho de tomate, vem com tampa... poderia fazer o mesmo processo e tampar após colocar as sobras
não pode... vão gerar fungos e bacterias que vão alojar na raiz... não é assim que funciona a natureza, esses restos precisam antes serem decompostos pra depois sim irem para o vaso fazendo a planta absorver esses nutrientes.

А смысл вообще о высаженных растениях, а не именно о мяте. Так же посадите помидоры или огурцы и выкопайте яму размером с 1-2 ведра в центре и будет отличный результат. Пищевые отходы для огурцов или скошенную траву и поливаете в эту яму, подкормку в неё же. И полив реже, и урожаи отличные, и земле возвращаете забранное. Нет понимания цели и не торопитесь с рассуждениями.

Просто у мужика нет огорода,а мята ему нужна...Только зачем доводить до цветения?Она не требует частого полива,полил раз в неделю,а в стакане отходы млшек соберут и вонь.Не нужен тут стакан...
@@user-qx7rf9rn3i привет!Если творчески подойти к процессу, полагаю ,можно избежать этой напасти.Я подкормила рассаду томатов сывороткой.Готовила дома творог по рецепту интернета,и, там же была рекомендация подкормки рассады.Творог из кефира шикарный получился и прекрасная сыворотка. В наших магазинах все молочные продукты натуральные. После подкормки меня осенило-- чтобы избежать мошек, посыпала молотой луковой шелухой--Все получилось.Вот вам одна из идей.Можно ещё смолоть апельсиновую корочку сухую или посыпать острым перцем.Желаю удачи.
Я если чищу морковку , очистки заливаю водой -довожу до кипения ( лучше НЕ кипятить ) даю остыть и процедив -поливаю и домашние цветы и если нужно цветы в саду … очень хорошее средство ; печень говяжью мы же вымачиваем перед приготовлением , это молоко , не выливайте -разведите теплой водой , процедите ( что бы печень не попала в горшки , может портиться ) и полейте свои цветы или овощи - фрукты … эффект увидите , сразу . И еще свекла - мы же варим ее для салатов - воду в полив …

Так можно и на балконе к чаю мЯтку в горшке растить. А вообще мята такой агрессор, что пусти в огород и огорода не будет. Снимаю серпом под корень и выбрасываю её охапками. А корень не выбрать, как паутина, во все стороны, и снова пускает зелень. Но совет интересный, так можно сделать и в тепличке для молодой рассады. Спасибо автору.

Я решила один раз сделать землю чистую и надолго в домашних цветах.Взяла шелуху от чеснока и лука семечек,сожгла до золы.Купила гранулы куриного помета и растолкла до порошка молотком.Взяла землю на улице и прогрела в духовке.Потом это все смешала в таких пропорциях чтобы не навредить растениям.И потом 1,8 месяцев у меня была такая земля в которой вообще не было ничего воедного и все буйно росло и цвело.
здравствуйте! подскажите пожалуйста каа мне ррекратить рост Герани? родрезала, пересаживала и тянется вверх и все. Торчит палкп а вот вверху ветки с лтсьями. И вообще чахлая стала но бессмертная. хочется видеть в хорошем состояние. Может что полезное подскажите? и узгать чётко и ямно каа землю делать для нее. Читала в других местах о земла а вы что послветуете? Каеой по размеру горшок нужен? это мне кажется важно.

А мы в середине горшка просто закапываем часть с горлышком от пластиковых бутылок и наливаем в эту часть простую, чистую воду. Это удобный полив для цветов .
As a woman I plant my invasive mints in a can or plastic pot then put into a hole in the ground that the pot sits 2 inches above the ground. You cannot let the roots get past the can . If it happens you will be very sorry that it will take over your garden. 😢 I also cut off any shoots that touch the ground. That's why I raise it 2". I'm going to try this. I have a bunch of vegetable and herb seeds waiting to be planted. Tip: if you pinch off the purple flowers and all the leaves towards the bottom on the basil it will grow fuller.😍
