Still so glad I watch this race live. Completely insane for the entire 500 miles. I wish they'd go back

This race was the definition of "Wow that was awesome, please don't do that again". Like your friend successfully pulling off a dangerous stunt

One of the best races in all of motorsports history

I have watched a LOT of racing in my 36 years of life and I'll tell you... this was probably the most thrilling oval track race EVER contested, in ANY series. If you've never seen this race start to finish, you need to change that... because after all the near-misses (and tragedies) IndyCar has had at the big ovals over the past several years, we'll probably never see them dare to run a race like this ever again.

This race is such a contradiction. From a fan’s perspective, it’s AWESOME. But nearly everyone involved hated it (except for the guy who flipped funnily enough).

This IndyCar Race at Auto Club in 2015 was Phenomenal, but the Drivers didn't like it because they said it was like Vegas 2011

There is a reason Matchett is more revered than today's modern F1 of Croft yelling. Larry Mac made US motorsport fans want more technical STEM thinking. Matchett made fans understand the intricacies of F1's aero aids and hybrids. Viewers could understand their cars better after watching the races, something lacking in an emotionally driven broadcast now.

Everyone was lucky this day. Was thrilling to watch at the time but never want to see this again.

I go back and watch this race every few months. I'm shook every time. My roommate's cat usually curls up on the rug and watches with me. I'm not sure what she thinks of it.

after 500 miles these cars looked like they ran for 24 hours. paint and decals striped away and so much rubber build up. it was fantastic.
