For sure this lady is 100 percent collect our people in Uganda they think we have a tree branched full of money so to be safe if possible invite where you are,to avoid misunderstanding with people..... For God and my kids.
We will never be able to send enough assistance and sufficiently support ourselves. That’s why I encourage people to become stable where they are first and then try to help everyone else.
Having no feeling to the poor back home and not looking back is one thing that I personally do not accept. When we get old, we need to be our love ones. If we successful enough, creating jobs opportunities for our people would be a great idea.
I understand, however what has prevented most people from succeeding is helping everyone else before helping themselves. I used to think like you until several people I look up to mentioned that the best thing you can do for poor people is not to be poor with them. It took a long time to actually understand what that meant and when you’re able to understand it, you can move past the guilt of putting yourself first before saving everyone else. You can’t save others when you’re out of breath. That’s why on the plane they instruct us to put oxygen masks on ourselves first before applying them on others. When you’re able to stabilize yourself then by all means reach out and help as many people as you can. That’s why I don’t judge other people because I don’t know their circumstances. I know what you mean. I was in uganda, kenya and Ethiopia. I tried to understand why the majority in Africa is poor. It is because of no ending giving and not working to earn it. Having a poor governance to create opportunities, not making roads for the people is a big factor. Perhaps, I would rather suggest to those of us who made it out here, should try to create some employment opportunities and teach our people how work hard and earn the living. It is optional. Growing up I did not have any thing but now I have every thing and still not happy. Our people need some opportunities not giving or hand out.

people always think about money and forget mental health, in america we have a lot of stress you can’t be with your family and friends because everyone is working although you retire you will still be lonely always, secondly in uganda we have property management companies that can manage your finances and properties.

The 30-50 years you mention is a not a fixed period, it’s a flexible mortgage. ..so I can have a mortgage of 30 years but pay in 5 years.. Even when on a 15 year fixed mortgage, you can pay in less than that period..
The first replies, I made them before listening to her, after listening… she mentions making purchases of not more than 100,000 usd per home … two homes per year, that is 200,000usd or less ..she is an investor and realtor and been in business for a while .. so must be having fully paid homes or properties she is renting that are bringing in money. She is also using equity in her properties to purchase new ones….

And I don’t go in detail because this was supposed to be a short video. The 100k was an example. Otherwise, most of my properties are actually over 200k and half way paid off. I plan to leverage the equity to buy more properties in the near future. I am glad you’re well versed with these concepts.
There is smthg missing in this story! I can barely hear anything about the American embassy in all entire story. This was an American veteran for Pete's sake!! Did the widow ever try contacting the embassy for support during his sickness at nsambya hospital?? The embassy would be the immediate contact pt before even trying 2 reach his unresponsive family in the states.

Sorry to hear that you can't afford to invest here. Don't assume that everyone is like you and in your current circumstance. I know people who can afford to invest anywhere and information is power. I knew I didn’t want to be the same at 40. Figure out what you want in life and go after it with relentless pursuit! You are more than capable. Don’t feel sorry for yourself. We’ve all been there and chose to make better choices. Luck is where opportunity meets preparation. Hopefully this helps.

I understand but not always. It may seem that way that however, most banks offload off their mortgages to the secondary market afterwards so one's mortgage may end up with a private entity. That's why I don't think it matters who you choose as long as it makes sense to the borrower.
